    What kind of league setup and database of players are you running? I find it's harder to sell players if there are too many players in the game compared to active leagues. It's a supply and demand thing. All anecdotal though mind you.

    I find it can get hot especially if you are playing the matches in more than key highlights. Its just the price you pay for having great performance and battery life but zero fans. I've not noticed it being any different over time though

    I went with this a while back, no particular reason and I always carry it over version to version. I change the ranges depending on what level of league I'm in

    Yeah I'd take that job. Portugal seems perfectly natural progression and you've earned the chance. Portugal has pretty loose laws on foreign players too so you could probably take a few Cruzeiro players with you too. (one of my favourite things to do in the game) And their away kit is yellow, which as you know is a deal breaker!

    Nope. That's why the gains were so apparent. It basically got significantly quicker over night

    Just as a side note, the native support has massively increased the speed of FM. Iirc it was around 20% quicker

    Nothing stopping you starting one here in the general forum. You could call it "Older FM versions discussion thread" or something similar Obviously if you wanted to do something more specific about editing FM08 then the Editors Hideaway would be the place for that

    Sometimes it just takes a while. Very much depends on your internet speed. You could transfer it over using a USB stick maybe?

    It disappeared a few iterations ago iirc. Annoying when you have the occasional player saying that they think you started pre-season too early but you had no choice in the matter.

    No way to know at this point but I imagine a lot of people will need to upgrade. This thread could be invaluable for that.

    Carrying over saves is an absolute game changer. I bought FM23 but went back to 22 because I missed the save I was doing. Excellent news

    I'd say you were pretty much spot on with that assesment although we haven't had many new windows based laptop tests done. I switched to Mac myself and the fact that it doesn't drop in performance when you unplug it from the wall was the game changer that made me switch

    Exactly, there are so many things that make a player perform well, sometimes they just fit the system, have a great spread of attributes in vital areas, sometimes you can't even explain it which is what makes the game so great in my opinion.
