  1. This happened to me before and I had to load a previous version of the save to get the history back. Not sure how it was deleted to be honest as you can move a save file (1 file) between computers and the history comes too
  2. 78 Systems tested Second Post fully updated and split into Laptop/Desktop to view scores at a glance. Full results with more in depth computer specs can be viewed on the spreadsheet Yet again a big thanks again to all who have tested so far
  3. Asuming you are using Steam - from the 'Library' section, right-click on the game and select 'Properties' from the menu. - Select the 'Local Files' tab and click the 'Verify Integrity of Game Files' button
  4. It'll run it fine. Not with a massive amount of leagues mind you but it'll be fine
  5. I'll be updating the spreadsheet in the next couple of days so get your tests done ASAP if you haven't already
  6. I always use the original database as I find it more realistic or at least closer to realistic
  7. This literally is is social media and this thread is the worst place to come to have your opinion of the game soured.
  8. This is the thing though ignorance is bliss. The people I know who enjoy the game the most don't use social media or this forum.
  9. Newgens are more of a challenge to manage as they can have negative personalities unlike real ones
  10. The best database for this is FMfusion. You'll need to sign up to their forum to download it but they have been making it for years and its top quality https://www.fmfusion.it/showthread.php?tid=1787
  11. You said it was too easy. Myself and Daniel have offered ways to make it more challenging
  12. 72 Systems tested Second Post fully updated and split into Laptop/Desktop to view scores at a glance. Full results with more in depth computer specs can be viewed on the spreadsheet Yet again a big thanks again to all who have tested so far
  13. You don't need to set up anything. You just download these 4 save games to the games folder and hit "go on holiday" for a week for each one Benchmark 1 - Download - 12/09/2023 - 19/09/2023 Benchmark 2 - Download - 12/09/2023 - 19/09/2023 Benchmark 3 - Download - 12/09/2023 - 19/09/2023 Benchmark 4 - Download - 12/09/2023 - 19/09/2023
  14. This is how i'm feeling about FM23. No issue with the game itself but if you are the kind of person that plays decades into a save it can be really hard to "start again" from scratch
  15. To be honest its not my kind of thing but in terms of difficulty the Youth Academy Challenge looks near impossible to complete
  16. The thousands of pounds I’ve spent on systems over the years just to play FM. Actually scratch that. I regret nothing!
  17. I've gone back to FM22 but not for any of the reasons others have stated I just missed my FM22 save. I was 20 odd years in and I feel like I still have unfinished business. I'll admit though if FM23 had added more features that i'd miss then it would have been a harder decision.
  18. Is this really a thing? I've just looked back at the history of my save and my record away from home is comparable to my home record. Genuinely curious if people think this is a thing. This is last season for me Season before that Most of my seasons look like that too one way or another barring a few outliers
  19. Depends on your system. I can play with very high graphics but it stutters unless I cap it at 30 fps. Its a balance of smoothness v quality so you can play around with the settings to see what suits
  20. Amazing, bet you'll have a blast building all that. Just became the benchmark thread MVP ! edit - I'm interested to know which of the two do you think will perform better in these tests?
  21. It'll be really interesting. I think the AMD would edge it slightly for me purely on upgrade path for AM5. Its great to see both companies so competitive, it can only be a good thing
  22. Possibly but to be honest i'd like to see a larger sample size of both of these processors because by every metric and every benchmark i've seen everywhere else the i9's single core performance is superior which is a major factor in these tests. Jurraso's 7950X shouldn't have beaten it in test 1 & 2 but it did, maybe because he had his system set up really well and fine tuned maybe I don't know. I would love to see a few more of these processors on our chart to see the outcome. I'm happy to be proved wrong. If i'm wrong then it means that FM is moving away from being a brute force single core game for the average user (test 1 & 2)
  23. No but your nose gets longer like Pinocchio
