  1. God I never even thought of that! Brilliant Would it skew the tests at all I wonder, would an imported save take longer than a fresh save made on FM24
  2. Nobody can do this. It takes nearly 10 mins to sim a week on the best hardware money can buy. On a top end gaming laptop you're looking at 25 mins
  3. There's no real way to test them exactly but I will be setting up the FM24 tests to be as close to the FM23 ones. Its quite a claim though. I wonder if they have had to make any compromises to make it happen?
  4. I recently went back to look at saves all the way back to FM08 when i first started archiving them. A lovely bit of nostalgia. Can highly reccommend.
  5. Casual players which make up the bulk of buyers want to win. If it is too hard to win then they won't buy the game. It's as simple as that.
  6. I can't give you a firm yes as i've got a fair amount of commitments but i'd be interested definitely Edit - When you know what you want to do (leagues, times etc) Then set up a thread here https://community.sigames.com/forums/forum/21-fm-online-careers-and-game-modes/
  7. It's a huge commitment. I played in an LLM clan maybe 15 years ago and it was really difficult to keep going although I think we did for the best part of a year. Find people who can commit to say 8pm to 11pm maybe 2 nights a week. Best advice I can give is don't get too caught up on having a level playing field and being over competetive. The best part of an online game like FM will likely be chatting and making friends with the people you're playing with.
  8. Yeah they were my thoughts exactly. The second option is problematic as suggested as a lot of players may well have been signed in response to injury issues etc but now in game you find yourself with a glut of players in one position. I will say though that with an end of June start date quite a few Non-League clubs will require a complete rebuild
  9. Ok so what are our thoughts on the new Game Modes from a realism standpoint? For me the only way to go would be the third option of Your World. (for reasons I will expand on but i'm interested to see other peoples opinions) This is a brilliant QOL addition that I didn't really know I needed but that makes so much sense.
  10. Good man, thanks for that. I have a couple I have to do myself before we do the final update.
  11. I would say those temps are perfectly reasonable for FM on a machine of that age. No need for worry at all. I had a Laptop that I run FM on that would regularly hit the mid 90's and did so for years. It still runs perfectly now and my dad uses it every day for his accounts.
  12. This is exactly what I try to do. Its why I find Nordic saves so good
  13. Yeah i'm not sure exactly what determins it to be honest. I'm guessing a lot of it is how you deal with the press maybe? I'm Fairly Determined at the moment but for 10 seasons or so it had me down as Spineless. Wasn't overly happy with that tbh. I would have complained about it but I didn't want to bother anyone
  14. Badly would be the most honest answer Mainly the LLM way outlined here https://www.the9llamas.com/llama-guidelinesethos/llama-ethos-full but I also lean very heavily on my youth system.
  15. I'm in 2060 on FM22 and i'll be honest the balance seems okay. Or at least as much as it could be. But then I don't play in a way that would give me 20 league titles by this point. On a side note I just made my first League cup final. Lost in extra time. Ruined my entire week
  16. Yeah that makes sense. It will be great for the long term guys that make the lower league England databases that can take a year or so to make. You could really perfect them over a longer time period. The start date would be less of and issue if you're starting with the Dog and Duck in the East Sussex 4th Div too I guess.
  17. Yep that sounds right based on what i've read. Realistically you could keep tweaking and perfecting that database on FM23 and then creating a save you can then move over to FM24.
  18. Pie in one hand, ciggie in the other, socks rolled down.
  19. Why would you want to do that specifically though? Are you confusing the Beta with the demo? Or are you thinking that you can switch between versions? Okay i've confused myself here !
  20. I'll be updating this soon for what could be the last time for FM23. If anyone wants to do a test get them in ASAP Thanks again folks!
