  1. It’s a game so that is always going to be possible no matter what they do.
  2. this is not as easy to do anymore because players U18 seem to be reluctant to move from their parent club in FM23
  3. I was thinking the same then I went back to look at it and says week commencing from 18th. So it's definitely sometime this week but it didn't specifically say the 18th
  4. I ordered from CDkeys last year and I had access to the beta
  5. I've never owned a MacBook but that is pretty normal for a laptop. the steam deck for example can go up to 105 Celsius
  6. You need to pin them for you own team first
  7. Keyword being “MOD” these are fan made and not officially done by SI
  8. I’m not sure everything will work for example if there are rules in the league you’re playing that is changing in FM24 I don’t think you’ll have that rule change unless you start a game in FM24. If you’re in the middle of a save some changes will only happen when the new season kicks in. At least that is how it has been carrying over your beta save to the full game or your old save into the winter update.
  9. I know that but if you think about it there isn't much difference between FM22 and FM23 and although I don't know what they are doing to make the save files compatible but if it works for FM23 surely it should be able to work for FM22
  10. in the first blog post where the announced that you could carry over your save they specifically said "It’s also the plan to bring saved games from FM24 into FM25, despite the big changes coming for FM25" they were specific in mentioning FM24 and FM25 which makes it seem like it is only going to be from one year to the other. Also if you read down the main reason they are doing it is for those that play on game pass since once the new game comes out, they can no longer sell the older one legally so they disappear and you remain stuck with just your game files and no way to play them. (SI didn't give this explanation but that is basically the reason but I could be wrong)
  11. @Platinummy idea to fix the DOF is at the beginning of every save when you go to your squad planner the game should ask you how many players you want per position and how you want to split them so for example you can have 2 players per position where one is first team and the other is rotation or 3 players per position where one is a first team player the other is rotation and the 3rd is a youth player (20 and other because you don’t need to register them in most leagues) or you can have 2 players per position where one is first team player and the other is a youth player. After you have chosen that you will then have to put the players you have available where you think they fit then the DOF can fill the holes in the squad. During transfer windows or at the end of the season if the playing time doesn’t match their squad status and there has not been injuries for example if you had 3 players for every position and your youth striker for some reason has more minutes than your first team striker without injuries then he should try and sell the first team striker and bring someone in. Also if your scouts find a players who’s better than what you already have they can try and sign that person and sell the one in your team or they can ask you first. The same logic can be used for contracts, if the player I picked to be the first team players gets significantly less minutes compared to the rotation player then they shouldn’t offer a new contract if they’ve not been able to sell the players and he has 6 months left. I can understand that some people would find it tedious at the beginning of every save to go and pick who should be the first team player etc but theoretically if the system works it’s something that has to be done once or it can be done automatically based on minutes played and minutes played per position
  12. You can still play it on pc if you have a game pass subscription
  13. If you are using a sweeper keeper change that to an normal GK and then try roll it out. If your are playing in lower divisions they will still boot it up sometimes regardless of what you do.
  14. Was going to ask the same thing 😂😂
  15. It has been interesting reading this thread and seeing how people always point to the fact that older fifa games are better graphically than FM and although that’s correct. I recently started playing FIFA and I’m bad at it but even without talking about the game play, the graphics is the only good thing about it. The UI is horrible, you have to go through 3 different pages to see all the attributes of your players for example and the number of leagues you can play in basically doesn’t exist not to talk about the fact that you can’t even do instalments when trying to buy and sell a player. I’m not saying that FM shouldn’t improve graphically because it’s better than other sport games in other areas. I’m just saying that we should be careful when trying to compare FM with other games like FIFA
  16. @fraudiola for me to keep enjoying playing FM I have accepted the fact that there are somethings that don't work how they would IRL so I just ignore them and play according to the rules of the game
  17. What I've learnt playing with a bad teams is that some players will play the ball long for no reason regardless of what you do and these players are usually those with poor composure so in my save I've had to make some sacrifices by going for defenders with good enough composure but poor jumping reach because I want to play short from the back and you can't really find a player with everything at semi-pro level. I've not looked at you tactic in detail but with the amount of support players you have the "hold shape" instruction is your friend.
  18. you can't do any of those however, if you want to do the second part you can do that through the player search screen. so create a view with the data you want to look at then use the filter to select how many minutes you want to look at then export the data and you can either use excel or any similar program to do the visualization yourself
  19. What's wrong with starting a new save until the new game comes out and then you can do whatever you want. You can try something you've never tried before it doesn't have to be serious plus you should be able to carry over the save to FM24 if it goes as planned
  20. Yes I agree with the representation of the graph
  21. 1. I always use one formation unless there's a team that's playing a specific way and what I'm doing isn't working so I will try to find something to counter that. An example is my current save. I'm playing a 433 and I struggle with teams that play with 2 strikers and there is this team that play with a back 3 an AM and 2 strikers so I decided in some games against them to just move my DM to CB so I match their 3 attacking players with 3 CBs. 2. I don't think it's that important if your players are good and the tactic is good. I've participated in challenges where we change tactics every month and we still do well. It might give you a little boost but it's not going to make bad players play well or a bad tactic perform well. 3. I ignore all that. As long as the player has the attribute to play in any position or role I play them wherever fits my overall tactic. 4. Yes the star ratings are not reliable, they can change based on a lot of things like signing a better player, players form, if you stop playing the player etc. 5. That's not something you have to worry about. Like I said as long as they have the attributes and are familiar with the position you can play them in any role 6. I don't really know this is preference but I might also be weird because I'm willing to throw a lot of money at goalkeepers because I think they can be underrated and you will never understand untill you've had a bad one and then you sign a good one. Even the worst player will score you goals if they get enough chances
