I agree but no one is going to buy an updated database for full price when fan sites have been doing it for free for years and SI can’t go without any revenue for even a year. We are stuck to a yearly cycle but that doesn’t mean that we need to buy the game every year. It’s like smartphones at the moment where there are no big changes from year to year and there is no point upgrading every year

How many active leagues do you guys have in your saves and how fast is it. Mine will be arriving this week or early next week and although I’ll mostly be streaming the game through steam link I need to know if it will be able to handle my save when I’m out because I have all leagues loaded some are View only but most of them are fully loaded

I used to watch Liverpool's press conference before every game and the first few times it was interesting but after a while it's basically the same questions like "how long until player x will be available for training again", "player x contract is running out at the end of the season, are you looking to renew it bla bla bla"

That's difficult to quantify because it would depend on the kind of shot and where he's taking them from. If most of his shots are coming from inside the box and he misses he's not getting at least half of those on target then it's a problem. For me I look more at the shot on target ratio and if he's matching or outscoring his xg.

Yes it's probably on track as I didn't take into consideration the weekend and friday where they never release updates

I said "compared to previous 3 years". In FM 21 it was released on the 21th of Feb and last year on the 24th so I'm not surprised people think Feb and those that have asked on twitter get the same copy and paste reply each year of " it's usually later Feb or early March" Like I said I'm already happy as it is so I'm not too fussed if they said for some reason that there would be no more updates apart from the database update

the problem with taking too long is that people start to get their hopes up even if compared to previous years it's just 3 days late at the moment. If the update take until the first or second week of March and it doesn't meet expectations, it's going to be rough for them and this year has already been bad. I'm just glad I'm happy with the game in general so I don't have big expectations

you don't have to start a real save just start something to mess around a bit and try new things until the update comes out then you can start playing seriously

they did the same for FM21 and FM22

I don't really care about the transfer update, I've never cared and I'm not one of those that start a new save after the winter update, I just carry on whatever save I've been playing even if it was started during beta so I wouldn't want to wait since I'm just looking for the match engine patch and other quality of life improvements

it won't work because everything is relative to the league you're playing and you're asking them to use one system to rate all players in the game. At least with a range from 1-20 (under the hood the attributes are not 1-20 but they go from 1-100) you have different ranges where a player can fall under. For example for the league I'm currently managing in 10 is the average attribute for key attributes, if they were to use your suggestion it should be around 3 however, a 3 (average) in my league will be 1 (very poor) in the big leagues so how would we know what level of players we are looking at. There is also the fact that if they did that there will still be people asking to know what very poor really means. obviously this is just speculation from me but you get similar question on the tactic forum a lot like "how wide is wide on attacking mentality compared to wide on balanced mentality?" While the question in this example can be a valid one to ask (I personally see it as unnecessary) it's still an example of how the game tries to simplify things but we are still looking for a complicated solution

if you do the scouting yourself you can do without them like in my current save I'm only relying on DOF recommendation and agent offers at the moment then I offer the players I get on trial if they come then fine, if they don't I don't look at them again

did you install anything? When I get crashes like this I take out the additional files like graphic packs, saved games etc but leave those that come standard just after installing the game before you've created your first save file and start readding them one after the other until I find the file that caused the crash and it has always worked for me
