simonbyrneno.4
Been searching through various threads looking for a midfielder than I can base my Man Utd team around, which is a modern day Roy Keane. Closest I’ve come to finding one has been - Lucas Terreria from Sampdoria. He looks the closest that I can find, has anyone got any other suggestions? Looking for someone in their early to mid twenty’s so I can build the team around them long term. Start of the first season
w_x
Have you looked at Thomas Delaney?
Geordieboy52
I love this fella, just found him in the last few weeks. He starts on loan at Pescara (from Udinese) but can develop in to a multi-faceted midfielder, this is him after about 5 years of development (2 1/2 by me) and backroom staff feel he can still develop, I play him as a BWM. sedge11
Kevin strootman would be good, I’ve signed him for Man Utd in the 2nd season, got great tackling and passing attributes and very good mental attributes, he is 27-28 though so not sure if be too old for what your looking for. Another worth one worth a look could be Manuel Locatelli from Milan, only 20.

He looks like a great find, might have to invest in him as a long term squad player. Maybe not the next Roy Keane but certainly looks a great player

I’ll check out Locatelli too along with Delaney
Ronaldo Beckham
Maybe right click on Strootman and search for players like him and then just mess about with the attributes until you are happy and see if you can find a decent alternative. Fabinho from Monaco would probably be the best choice for what you are looking for, he was awesome for me whenever I have managed Monaco. Other players you could look at are Koke, Minkovic-Savic, Cassimiro, Mateo Kovacic, Emre Can, A.Diawara, if you like an outsider then try Fransergio from Braga. zlatanera
It depends what you mean by "next Roy Keane". If you want effectively a ball-winner whose technical stats aren't lacking, like Torreira, try Lucas Tousart - there's a whole thread about him further down. Already better tackling, anticipation, decisions and acceleration. Everything else looks great for BWM/B2B I'd maybe do a focus on passing to get 15+ and you're sorted.
