IgnorantLobster
Brilliant stuff so far, look forward to seeing it progress. Quick question, how exactly do you go about finding the amateur players to sign on a free? Are they scouted or just found using the player search? Keep up the good work
Makoto Nakamura
February 2026 Just the one loss but it hasn't really hindered us in the league as we're still a couple of points clear and 6 points clear of 3rd and we're also through to the quarter final of the cup but I don't see us getting any further as we face USM El Harrach who are currently 2nd in the top tier so we have little to no chance of advancing there. Makoto Nakamura
March 2026 As predicted we're out of the cup but we really did well to take it all the way to penalties and in the league our competitors have slipped up and we've capitalised on that as we're now 8 points clear!! Getting lots of crosses from the CWBs, while the IFs keep hitting them in the box. You could try changing the forward to a DLF. He'll then drop down and make space for the inside forwards, while still being dangerous himself. How could I miss this?! I just read the whole thing and I loved every second of it! Great work. Makoto Nakamura
Pre-Season 2026/27 All we have to do is to is avoid relegation and the media think we will do that with the bottom 3 being relegated and us expected to finish 4th from bottom. Well, we were good away from home. Quite a few players brought in to help strengthen the team and a bit of deadwood was sold/ let go. Key Signings:
Makoto Nakamura
August 2026 Like pre-season we're very good away from home although we did lose to one of the best clubs in Algeria, it's been a very good start to life in the top tier. Makoto Nakamura
September 2026 Amazing, a perfect month sees us top the league! If things carry on this way then our only competition will be the dominant ES Setif!
Makoto Nakamura
October 2026 More perfection! This is going way, way better than I could have hoped and I really hope this form doesn't lead to a massive drop down back to earth later in the season! Makoto Nakamura
November 2026 Well we were finally defeated, predictably it was against ES Setif and that means that if they win their game in hand then they'll go top of the league. We also set a new club record for biggest win with the 8-0 demolition away to amateur side SC Ain Defla
Makoto Nakamura
December 2026 And just like that we're down to 3rd and the lowlight, probably of the season is the crushing 5-1 defeat to the now league leaders MC Alger.
Makoto Nakamura
February 2027 Our good form thankfully came back in January/February as we make it into the cup quarter final to face AS Khroub and in the league we're level on points with ES Setif but they still have their game in hand. Makoto Nakamura
March 2027 Sadly we didn't make it into the semi-final of the cup but we did get one over ES Setif with them scoring a 94th minute own goal to give us the 3 points!
Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2026/27 A close to perfect end to the season sees us finish in 2nd although I don't really want to manage Tadjenanet next season...I've just been given the budgets. A £28K p/w wage budget and a £90.4K transfer budget, we're currently spending just £7,573 of the wage budget but it still doesn't seem like much. Okay, so I've been thinking about this for the last few days really and I think what I'm going to do is start over, I'm a stickler for reality and claassen has decided to do more updates so I may take a brief sabbatical and mess around with a save not on the forums so watch this space. Makoto Nakamura
As a continuation of my earlier thoughts, what would you guys prefer, me carry on with things as they are with the less realistic leagues or start over with the additional countries and actual leagues? I personally think you should start over, realism is very important to have a fun career in my opinion. Makoto Nakamura
December 2027 Yes, yes, yes! an away draw to CABB Arreridj put a worrying dampener on things but after that our attack has been sublime, and ES Setif lost a game! Makoto Nakamura
January & February 2028 We have day-light! The monster unbeaten run carries on with the highlight being the late win over ES Setif and we're now ahead of them on goal difference as well as points!
