Things get worse after three seasons, but what a struggle season after the great start. I think you might have hopes alive for the last games soon.

There's not a lot of time left for hope, it's almost a cert that we're going down.

Good to see that you made it anyway

I didn't expect to take Xghajra past the Second Division really.

Horrible, just horrible, I should resign on the spot but to but things simply, I had a board meeting asking for six points from five games which is usually a very achievable target but not this time, I've gotten four points from four games so I have to win the next game at home to the team directly above us, St. Andrews else I'm sacked and we're relegated. Now...Pieta Hotspurs, I have no idea how we went down 9-0 but we were without seven of our first team players as the were called up for international duty with the Malta U21's & U19s and we were 3-0 down after just six minutes, couple that with a sending off with sixty eight minutes to play and an own goal and this is my most embarrassing defeat of FM16, 9-0 to a team that are five places ahead of us in the league. Dreadful.

It was disappointing but very much expected, I was going to leave at the end of the season anyway, but it would have been nice if I'd of had a choice in the matter, also because of the sacking I've not gotten the ratings & season review screenshots.

FC Lusitanos, also known as Lusitans, is an Andorran football club from Andorra la Vella which was founded in 1999 and currently play in Primera Divisió.

Lusitanos won their first Primera Divisió title in 2011–12 and its second national championship the following season. The club's name, crest and kit reflect its Portuguese identity.

Futbol Club Lusitanos (Futbol Club Lusitans, Portuguese: Futebol Club Lusitanos) was founded in 1999. The club played for the first time in the Campionat de Lliga in 2000–01, after winning the Second Division championship. In 2001–02 they won its first title, the Copa Constitució after winning 2–0 in the final against Inter Club d'Escaldes on 2 June, with both goals by Manuel Vieira.

Lusitanos played their first European matches in the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League, where they were eliminated 11–0 on aggregate by Macedonian club Rabotnicki. In the following season's tournament, they were beaten at the same stage byCroatian club Varaždin, 6–1 on aggregate.

Since their promotion to the top division they have not been relegated, and won their first title in 2011–12. This qualified the club to the 2012–13 UEFA Champions League, where they were knocked out 9–1 on aggregate in the first qualifying round by Maltese champions Valletta.

They won their second league title in 2013, this qualified the club to the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League they were drawn to play EB/Streymur of the Faroe Islands, in the first leg they drew 2–2 and in the second leg they lost 5–1, losing 7–3 on aggregate.

After finishing fourth in the regular season FC Lusitanos ended the 2013–14 season without being qualified for the UEFA Europa League after losing against Sant Julià 1–2 in the final of the 2014 Copa Constitució.

In the 2014–15 season FC Lusitanos became runners-up of the regular league and this qualified the club to the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League where they were drawn to faceWest Ham United in the first qualifying round, lost 0–3 in the away match and 0–1 at home (0–4 on aggregate).

The league may not be the best, but at least we can trouble Iacovones alternate universe and the major deal-maker was the fact that we have Europa League football next season!!

I think Lusitanos will be very interesting. Always the possibility you get some Portuguese gems in your academy :D

I'm really looking forward to hopefully re-knocking Santa Coloma off of the top spot, and the youth intakes should be promising :D

I'm not sure iacovone would approve of this appointment, but good luck anyways :p

Nothing wrong with some friendly competition :D Thanks Gato!

You were unlucky, but I think that Lusitanos will be a great challenge. Good Luck!

Thanks breno, I've improved the Junior Coaching already so hopefully I can start something here in Andorra!

2019/20 Pre-Season

c172f37a40d42c7b905472ef8b1318ad.png

A mixed pre-season where we started poorly but things picked up in the end. In the Europa League were were drawn against Vaduz who are playing in the Swiss Super League and we were easily dispatched 8-2 on aggregate but the prize money did give us a nice little junior coaching improvement.

Because of previous European outings there's money available but the problem is that we're semi-professional and can only offer non-contracts which means that next to no-one is willing to sign for us.

Because of that I just signed a couple of players with potential and as many players as we could from our parent club Sivaspor in the Turkish Super League.

Not happy with the sack in Xghajra. I am fortunate to see coaching Luisitanos, so good luck. Who are the new coaches of Xghajra, Milsami Ohrei and CSKA Moskva (Takeover)?

Xghajra are now managed by previous St. Andrews manager Johann Cilia, Milsami Ohrei are managed by previous Daugava Daugavpils manager Ivan Tabanov (ex-Moldovan international) and CSKA Moskva are managed by Michael Laudrup who's also managed Swansea, Crystal Palace and FC Zurich so far this save.

We're starting to slip up and we've now lost the lead to FC Encamp, we may be a little bit overly reliant on Vasco Fernandes but at least we have someone who will drag us through games whether the rest of the lads like it or not, and we beat Santa Coloma 3-0 :D

Hardly the form of champions, we crash out of the cup at the 1st Round and we pick up four points from nine in the league which sees us tied on points with UE Sant Julia who we were lucky to get a draw against in our last league game.

Just caught up on this, some nice progress in Malta but it seems that the first division was a step too high for the club. Best of luck in Andorra, a good start already!

I'm getting a bit bored of China tbh so I might end up doing a journeyman career.

The league was wrapped up with the big 3-0 victory against FK Santa Coloma, sadly though everyone was hung over after a week of partying and we were poor against FC Encamp and with their victory over us they've secured Europa League football for next season.

Cruz is pretty nice, you should try to sign him at every club you join. Or at least track his progress a bit.

I don't think I'll be at the clubs that he's going to be going to for quite some time sadly but I'll track his progress.

Sadly without the loanees they've gone and gotten back-to-back relegations so they're no better off now than when I joined them which is disappointing :( Good luck if you do end up doing a journeyman :)

A good month with good wins over both Santa Coloma sides although the defeat to FC Encamp means they're the only unbeaten team left but we're still two points clear with a game in hand, also surprised to see FK Santa Coloma in the bottom half of the table even though we have only played 6/7 games so far.

I know this is off topic, but I was always so curious to where you got your name Makoto?

EDIT: I think that just before I joined the forums I wanted to take part in the FM11 Asian Challenge and thought it would be cooler if I made Makoto Nakamura my manager name to seem realistic, I don't think I ever posted in that thread but the name stuck.
