Makoto Nakamura
Just a small post showcasing who I think is the best player in the game right now, look at those stats! And that form! And at age 33!
Clarky323
Glad you got your computer back and save unharmed! Weird request but what was PSG's first three results last season?! 13 goals scored, 7 goals conceded...

Makoto Nakamura
2037/38 Pre-Season Decent pre-season but a bit worrying losing so heavily at home to Bayern. Not a lot of money to spend and the media expect us to finish 6th, ideally I'd want to qualify for the Champions League again. Tercio - Marcel Dietz - Jose Manuel - Moises Roman - Jan Skoda - Valdemir - Eduardo Castillo The aim was to strengthen the back 4, I'm disappointed that I couldn't bring in a DL but I did the best I could, Marcel Dietz looks very promising being a wonderkid on a free transfer from 2. Bundesliga side Bochum and Tercio looks to be a very promising Brazilian from Japan.
Makoto Nakamura
August 2037 5 games in and an early pattern is emerging, we're good at home and pretty poor away, despite this we are in 6th so it's nothing to be too concerned about just yet. Soo...3rd place anyone?
noikeee
Not the greatest CL group ever. Maybe you can beat Inter (dunno how strong they are by now).

I doubt it, they beat us 6-3 in the Europa League 1st Knockout Round last season. Maybe we can cause an upset though.
deltablue
Pity you couldn't quite get the title last season, but hopefully it won't be too long.
Makoto Nakamura
September 2037 Barring the defeat to Marseille it was a good month with an expected loss to Barcelona but a much needed win over KRC Genk. Even though I tried to improve our defence over the pre-season it still still glaringly obvious that it's our weakest point although there isn't much I can do about it now. Makoto Nakamura
October 2037 And we're up to 2nd with the only bad result being the game against Inter, surprisingly Genk managed a point by drawing away to Barcelona!
Makoto Nakamura
November 2037 Another impressive month with us managing to get our first victory over Inter and then go and draw with Genk...typical. In the league it looks to be a 4 horse race although I don't think Stade Brestois will have the staying power to last the whole season.
Makoto Nakamura
December 2037 I was not expecting that. We're top of the league and a 4 horse race has turned into a 2 horse race between ourselves and Monaco again and we managed to outplay Barcelona at Camp Nou to top the group! Makoto Nakamura
January 2038 Another almost perfect month apart from the trip to Paris which has seen us surrender the top spot back to Monaco and with a 10 point gap between us and Stade Brestois it's going to be a real tussle for the top spot, and in a repeat of last season we also face Monaco in the Final of the Coupe de la Ligue. noikeee
Wow, incredible result in the Camp Nou, and Sporting should be a winnable tie next too. You're definitely making progress with Lille here this season. Who the hell are FK Tosno?

It was an amazing result really and Sporting is very winnable tie...especially after the first leg FK Tosno are everything Anzhi tried to be a few seasons ago. They start off in Russia's 2nd tier but they were taken over by a tycoon in 2025 and have won the Russian Premier League twice and finished runners-up in the Europa League in 2032. Makoto Nakamura
February 2038 Just the one loss to our feeder club AS Yszeure which sees us top of the league on goal difference with 9 games to go after AS Monaco slip up! In the Champions League we scored an early goal before Sporting had a man sent off after just 6 minutes which then made the rest of the match a bit similar but we scored a 2nd to be sure of the win in the 81st minute. Makoto Nakamura
2037/38 Youth Candidates This is a first for the save, potentially one of the best player of his generation...yet he has just 4* potential apparently
Makoto Nakamura
March 2038 Well that was bloody disappointing, we lose 3-0 at home to Sporting...and yet our GK wins MotM with a rating of 9.2. 4 First team injuries helped contribute to the just as heavy defeat against FC Nantes but we remain 2 points clear with 6 games to go. Makoto Nakamura
April 2038 Monaco absolutely hate us now We knocked them out of the Coupe de France, we beat them in the Coupe de la Ligue Final 2 seasons in a row and Jan Skoda absolutely destroys them in what would have been billed as a must win game for both teams at that point! All we need is 1 point from the last 2 games of the season to win the league, we face 19th placed Angers SCO at home before facing 9th placed AS Saint-Etienne on the final day of the season. We also face FC Lorient in the final of the Coupe de France and they're currently sat in 9th in Ligue 2.

Makoto Nakamura
Now I feel bad, the Monaco manager retired, he was 62 but surely he could have had a couple more seasons but instead it was Monaco's worst season since 2029/30.

Makoto Nakamura
Pre-Season 2038/39 The board want Champions League Qualification and the media predicts Champions League as well so I know what we must do. Other than the draw to AS Yzeure it's been an amazing pre-season! German regens are amazing! In their NT only one player is valued under £20m and only 6 valued under £30m!! Makoto Nakamura
I know I've posted up the Pre-Season but with the beta being out today/night I'm bringing this career to a close, it's nice actually being able to bring a career to a close myself instead of having one finished because of a crash dump! You can however expect a new thread not long after the beta goes live Thanks everyone for following and I hope you'll all follow when FM17 goes live!
