dafuge
Did any big name players become managers? Perhaps even a lower league player or two turning out to be better in the dugout? I think I'm getting to the point where a lot of the big names are retired, so it's hard to find recognisable names. Here are the managers, sorted by matches played. Conor Chaplin is a youngster at Pompey at the moment, he's had a quite a few clubs as a manager!

dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2062/63 We have been pretty dominant for the last few years, but the squad has always been too thin to challenge for every trophy. This was the first season where I really thought we had a chance of doing it. League Table - we managed an unbeaten season, but there were a lot of draws. Supercopa - we took this one against our rivals on away goals. UEFA Super Cup - it took a second half comeback to seal this one. FIFA Club World Cup - there was a shock here as we crashed out in the semi final on penalties. Copa del Rey - it was great to meet our rivals in the final, it was even better to beat them convincingly. UEFA Champions League - we were a bit shaky away from home but made our way to the final where we looked set to meet Real Madrid. Tenerife then tore up the script by overturning a first leg defeat then went one better by beating us in the final. Squad - the squad is in great shape, it is going to be hard to improve on this. Transfers - just the one signing, a new defensive midfielder. Finances - the finances are in decent shape now. Key Player Profiles: Driss Haddad - top scorer again, but he'll need replacing soon. Waltinho - not bad for a player who was originally signed as a backup. Paul Kuhn - he's played superbly to reclaim his place in the first team. Jochen Eder - still our most valuable player. Jordan Tixier - the new signing. dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2063/64 We have maintained our control in the league, but our cup displays have been a bit erratic. Last season we lost in the Champions League final, so I was hoping we could go one better this season. League Table - we cruised to the title, with the losses coming in matches where I rested players. Supercopa - we made a mess of the second leg against our rivals. Copa del Rey - things were going well but our first team players slipped up in Tenerife. UEFA Champions League - we were horribly inconsistent, which eventually cost us in the semi final. Squad - this squad is going to be brilliant in a couple of years once our youngsters gain more experience. Transfers - not the best transfer window as I sold players at cut prices and then paid far too much for a couple of average youngsters. Finances - we are becoming fairly rich. Key Player Profiles: Adam Hill - I gave him the main striker role and he was our top scorer. Waltinho - our best striker. Jaime Larios - he was a youth product already at the club when I joined, he looks superb now. Jochen Eder - our most valuable player. Gilbert Moreau - he's getting better, but needs to get involved in the goals more. dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2064/65 We've gone a couple of years without winning the Champions League, so that was the main aim for this season. League Table - we cruised to victory again, still dropping points in games when rotating the squad. Supercopa - this is the first time we've won this in three years. Copa del Rey - we blew it in the semi final second leg. UEFA Champions League - St Etienne gave us problems in the group stage, but we got our revenge in the knockout rounds. We then went on to win the final in Dortmund's back yard. Squad - the squad is a bit big at the moment due to the signing of a few youngsters, I may move on a couple of key older players to give them a chance next season. Transfers - Kuhn was sold far too cheaply, but his replacement looks superb. Finances - a small loss, but nothing to worry about. Key Player Profiles: Adam Hill - top scorer, but I don't think he's the man to lead our attack. Waltinho - he's a great player, but I may sell him to give the younger players a chance. Jaime Larios - he is the reason I let Kuhn go. Jochen Eder - most valuable player again. Konstantin Golubev - a brilliant first season for the youngster. dafuge
Amazing career so far. Any plans for international management? I'm not planning on it, mostly because I've not really enjoyed international management as much as clubs on my previous careers. I won't completely rule it out though as I've not really planned what I'll be doing after Barcelona.
dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2065/66 With hope of a new stadium fading away, this season was all about selling off the older players and making sure the squad was ready for the future. League Table - we cruised to victory. Elsewhere, Tenerife grabbed a Champions League place by beating Atlético Madrid in the Europa League final. Supercopa - this was a lot closer than expected. UEFA Super Cup - it took a late goal to seal this one. FIFA Club World Cup - and again, a late goal won it for us. Copa del Rey - there's something quite nice about winning a cup in Dafuge Arena, as a neutral venue. UEFA Champions League - we had a few shaky results away from home but our luck finally ran out in the dying minutes. Squad - our strikers are the only weak position. Transfers - three quality players left the club, with just one youngster joining us. Finances - a decent profit. Key Player Profiles: Adam Hill - top scorer, despite playing as a supporting striker. Jordi - a bad injury to the main striker gave this youth prospect a great chance. Jaime Larios - still first choice, despite great competition from the Russian. Gilbert Moreau - our new MPV. Mohamed Kouakou - our brightest prospect. dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2066/67 There hasn't been any indication that a new stadium is on the way, so in the meantime I have been trying to build a squad capable of winning every trophy. League Table - we won it easily, only really losing points when resting players. Supercopa - both legs were one sided. Copa del Rey - we made it to the final and blew it. UEFA Champions League - a perfect set of results, can't really beat that! Squad - the squad is perfectly balanced, we just need a striker to step up. Transfers - I sold some quality players in the hope of giving younger players a chance. Finances - a decent profit. Key Player Profiles: Jordi - top scorer, but he was given every chance to do so. Benjamin Legrand - returned from a bad injury to challenge the top scorer. Konstantin Golubev - he's done well to take a first team place from our best player. Jochen Eder - most valuable player again. Ralph Maaß - he's really shining as a winger. dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2067/68 The chairman won't budge on the thought of a new stadium, so I'm going to need to persuade him that this club really needs it. That means winning everything. League Table - our lowest points total for a few years, but it's good to have Real Madrid back at the top challenging for the title. Supercopa - the fans got a treat here as the goals flew in. UEFA Super Cup - this was a bit tighter as we came from behind to snatch the win. FIFA Club World Cup - that 11-1 scoreline is a record for the club. Copa del Rey - despite a couple of shaky away performances, we lifted the cup in my stadium. UEFA Champions League - the semi final was a bit nerve-racking, but we made easy work of the final. Squad - the squad is a bit big at the moment as I signed another striker to cover for injuries. Transfers - I got a bit carried away and spent £70m on a striker in the hope of finding the final piece of the jigsaw. Finances - a pretty hefty loss, because of the transfers. Key Player Profiles: Cenk Özbey - the £70m man didn't disappoint in his first season at the club. Adam Hill - the American had a solid season in the supporting striker role. Jaime Larios - the competition for his place seems to have spurred him on to greater things. Gilbert Moreau - our most valuable player. Ralph Maaß - another great season for the winger. dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2068/69 Last season we won the lot, but with a chance of that elusive new stadium it was important that we did our best to repeat it. League Table - once again we won it easily, but the challenge this year came from Betis. Real Madrid missing out on the Champions League was a shock, and it cost their manager his job. Supercopa - two comfortable wins. UEFA Super Cup - plenty of goals at the Red Bull Arena. FIFA Club World Cup - an easy win over an unexpected opponent in the final. Copa del Rey - a late goal sealed the win with a win over our rivals. UEFA Champions League - Bayern gave us a close game, but that was it. Squad - the squad is great, most of the weak spots are youth products. Transfers - I made a loss, but upgraded my left back. Finances - a profit, but the finances aren't quite as good as they used to be. Key Player Profiles: Adam Hill - despite playing as a supporting striker, the American was our top scorer. Cenk Özbey - that £70m price tag is starting to look a bit expensive. Konstantin Golubev - he has taken the first team spot from Larios. Gilbert Moreau - most valuable player, with Golubev. Ralph Maaß - another great season as a winger. dafuge
FC Barcelona - Liga BBVA - 2069/70 The quest for a new stadium continues as our performances on the pitch went from strength to strength. League Table - we looked set for the perfect season before drawing our 31st match. Supercopa - we had a tough first leg but we turned on the style at home. UEFA Super Cup - there were goals galore as we battered Dortmund. FIFA Club World Cup - back to the standard match against the South Americans. Copa del Rey - we were undefeated as the squad players impressed. UEFA Champions League - undefeated again as we saved our best for the final. Squad - we've had a few decent youth products recently, so the squad is a bit bigger than I'd like. Transfers - two big sales, one Japanese signing. Finances - somehow we made a loss. Key Player Profiles: Cenk Özbey - top scorer in a big improvement on last season. Adam Hill - I have strikers lining up to take his place. Konstantin Golubev - another amazing season for the winger. Xiraxa Medina - the youngster has really taken his chance in the first team. Jaime Larios - he's a bit of a legend at the club, but the time might be right for him to move on.
