ShyBaldBuddhist
Important game in Group one has just been played. Moody and Steinkjer came up against Brown and Strindheim. Both teams are chasing promotion and closing in on the early leaders. The game was won by Steinkjer 2-1 in the end thanks to a winner by Moody in the 3rd minute of injury time. The winner was nothing special but the opening goal was pretty good as Moody wins the ball before firing in from around 30 yrds. ShyBaldBuddhist
2013 Season Review First Division Edoardo Lorenzo amazingly achieves back to back promotions with Tromsdalen. Lorenzo was brilliant with 22 assists and 10 goals during the season to push the team into second spot. Santi Ganso and Raufoss managed to avoid the drop, but only just. They finish in 10th place but only 1 point above the drop zone. Still it gives the team a platform for next year. Steve Duffy couldn’t do enough to pull Pors clear of relegation. He managed to grab 10 goals but 7 defeats in the last 10 games cemented the teams 15th place finish. Mike Nevo had a great turnaround with KFUM Oslo. He grabbed 15 goals in the run in to drag the club clear and have another shot in the 1st division next year. Group One Severus Moody almost made it with Steinkjer. Ultimately a 3-0 defeat to Lorenskog in the penultimate game of the season put an end to their title hopes. Moody was in great form though so maybe next year will be his year. Omar Brown had a great season at Strindheim. 39 goals in 29 games enabled them to finish in 2nd spot, just two points off the leaders. The defeat to Moody’s Steinkjer cost them dearly in the end. Arawn Moridin and Lorenskog had a very poor year. They couldn’t get a run of games going and didn’t manage more than 2 consecutive wins all season. They will have new manager for the coming season though so maybe fortunes will improve. Dench Frimpong had a better finish than start with Moss. The club sacked the manager in late June and he went on a great run with only one defeat in 16 games. Definitely title challengers next year if they can carry the form over next year. Juan Coco Luis Pereira and Orn Horten’s could have been much closer if it wasn’t for a dreadful run at the end. Only 2 wins in final 7 games left the club in 7th place. Pereira was in good form though as he knocked in 23 league goals. Group Two Daniel Park was great but it wasn’t enough to get Tonsberg promoted. It went to the wire as they faced Valdres at home in the final game. They couldn’t get the required win though and have to settle for 2nd place this year. Jaime Bowmimo suffered 5 consecutive defeats to put an end to title hopes with Baerum. He managed to grab a few more goals but it wasn’t enough and the club tailed off into 5th spot. John Crane is celebrating promotion with Valdres. He only managed another 6 goals but it was enough to see the club over the line. He’s not been outstanding so it remains to be see if he has the talent to keep the club up next year. Jake Stothard continued his own good form for Follo but it wasn’t enough to get the club up the table. A few too many injuries at the club and lack of talent in reserves probably cost the club in the end. Wolodymyr Zelenko and Lillehammer faded badly during the second half of the season. They only just escaped relegation and Zelenko will be desperate to improve the clubs fortunes. He recently declared Lillehammer his favourite club. Demba Hynd couldn’t get Kristiansund up the league. They have a new manager for next year so hopefully he will get the best out of Hynd and get the team motoring. Group Three Lewis Leddy again couldn’t get Algard over the line. Lewis did his part with 29 goals and 11 assists but it wasn’t enough. Surely next year has to be it for Algard. Luke Corcoran and Floy should have capitalised on Algard’s loss of form but tailed off themselves. Only 1 win in the last 7 games ensured it is another season in the third tier for Luke. Jesus Christ continued his great form to edge Nest-Sotra to the top. 16 clean sheets in 26 games in brilliant form. The club only conceded 16 goals in the league all season and JC gets to test the theory he will be able to keep the club in the first division with his brilliance. Tiko Brohan tailed off badly with Vindbjart. Brohan was in good form all year so the finger needs to be pointed at his team mates. Geraint Alacarde finishes 5th with Notodden. The club look to need a striker to compete as they only managed 35 league goals. Perhaps it’s something the new gaffer can find to help challenge next season. Group Four Freddie Whites got Harstad over the line. He had a great year personally by scoring and providing in large quantity. He now considers left midfield his natural role and it has shown this season. Recently declared his love for the team. Herring just fell short with Skeid. Herring managed to top score for the club with 13 strikes to his name, all from his central midfield role. Definitely challengers next year if he can continue his good form. The Cup was won by Viking. Tromsdalen again progressed the furthest with a quarter final placing. slich
Gah unfortunate to fail on the last game at home with a chance to qualify, but not a bad year overall in terms of points. 5ergio
Phew. Ganso & Raufoss escaping the drop. Clearly he couldn't make the step up as easily it seems and maybe the team is suffering a bit as well. ShyBaldBuddhist
2014 Mid-Season Update Premier Division Edoardo Lorenzo is finding life tough in the top flight with Tromsdalen. Lorenzo is in great form but he may need to do a bit more. The club are only 2 points above the drop zone at the present time. First Division John Crane is having a great start in the first division with Valdres. He has managed 13 goals to push the team up to 2nd. They are only 3 points behind top spot and 5 clear of 3rd so promotion looks a possibility. Santi Ganso and Raufoss are waiting in the wings if Valdres slip up. The club are on a run of 4 straight league wins to apply the pressure. Ganso is doing well with 7 assists and 4 goals to his name. Freddie Whites hasn’t quite got Harstad going yet. Currently in 8th place so should be safe this year, Whites isn’t firing and has only managed 1 goal and 2 assists. Jesus Christ is doing his best at Nest-Sotra but the strikers are letting him down. With only 8 league goals the club need to find some firepower. JC has managed to keep a few clean sheets but he can’t do it all on his own. Mike Nevo had a good start with KFUM Oslo. He got 10 goals in 12 games but recently got injured. Will be out for 3-4 weeks and the club are going to need him back soon to try and pull away from the relegation spots. Group One Omar Brown is flying with Strindheim. 30 goals in only 15 games has shot the club to the top of the league. They enjoy a 4 point cushion at the moment but past seasons have shown the club need Brown to keep this up if they are going to secure promotion. Steve Duffy and Pors have adjust well to life back down in the 2nd division. Duffy has grabbed 22 goals to push the club up into second spot. Herring is in third with Skeid. Herring hasn’t yet managed to boss the midfield like in previous years. If he steps his game up promotion may still be a possibility. Dench Frimpong and Moss look to have carried on the good form from the end of last year. In 4th spot but it’s tight at the top. Frompong has been doing well, he has managed 7 assists so far. Arawn Moridin and Lorenskog are struggling back in 8th spot. Moridin has grabbed a few goals but is still failing to provide the assists to carry the club forward. Severus Moody is not having the best of times at Steinkjer. After almost gaining promotion last year it will be a surprise to be back in 9th place. Moody is doing well on a personal note with 12 goals but isn’t getting any help from his team mates. Group Two Jaime Bowmimo is flying with Baerum. They sit top by one point at the half way stage. Bowmimo is in good form with 14 assists and 5 goals to his name. Luke Corcoran and Floy are not far behind and are still unbeaten. Luke has been a rock at the back, averaging 3.67 tackles per game and grabbing a couple of goals. Demba Hynd and Kristiansund are a few points further back but the club are having a much better season than last year. Hynd has managed to get himself a few foals and assists but might need to do a bit more if he is going to get closer to the top two. Wolodymyr Zelenko is back in 5th spot with Lillehammer. Zelenko is joint top scorer with 4 goals which tells its own story. Daniel Park has fallen this year with Tonsberg. After a second place finish last year Daniel must have been expecting better. He is doing well on a personal level with 9 goals to his name but looks like it will be another season in the 3rd tier next year. Jake Stothard and Follo are having another poor season. They are in 11 place and only 4 points above the drop so will need to pull their socks up. Group Three Lewis Leddy is again top of the league at halfway with Algard. He has 28 goals to his name and is two points clear; it has to happen this year doesn’t it? Geraint Alacarde is in 2nd place with Notodden. Alacarde will be ready to step up if Leddy has his usual end of season collapse. He is having a steady rather than spectacular season. Juan Coco Luis Pereira is doing brilliantly at Orn Horten’s. 22 goals, 7 assists and an 8.83 AR is great form. If he keeps it up promotion may not be out of the question. Tiko Brohan looks to have too much to do with Vindbjart to get anywhere near promotion. Although in 5th place they are 11 points off the top. The little man can be happy with 6 goals and 5 assists from the right wing. Tromsdalen are again the last remaining club in the Cup.
ShyBaldBuddhist
A couple of quick notes. I have started using photobucket due to almost hitting limits on storage at imageshack. Hopefully no one will have trouble seeing the screenies but if they do let me know. Second thing is you will probably notice a sharp rise in attributes. I have maxed out the players to hit their PA. Due to the way the average CA was dropping at the clubs I thought the players needed a push. Hopefully this will mean they get to the top rather than yo-yo between 1st and 2nd division. ShyBaldBuddhist
Time for some more footage I think. This time Lewis Leddy shows his class with a decent hattrick. 1st goal shows his composure as he takes it around the defender. 2nd is an instinctive strike and he completes the hattrick with a powerful header. Great all round play by the forward, if he keeps it up he may finally gain promotion. [video=youtube;V-iN99kC8X0]

ShyBaldBuddhist
2014 Season Review Premier Division Edoardo Lorenzo almost did enough to keep Tromsdalen up but just fell short on goal difference. Lorenzo was in good form and even picked up the midfielder of the year award. It was a good effort and I’m sure they will be back before too long. First Division John Crane managed to secure promotion with Valdres. Crane was certainly influential in the 2nd place finish as he notched 25 goals earning him the top scorer and players player of the year awards. Santi Ganso and Raufoss missed out on the promotion by minutes. They led 3-2 in the final game of the season until Byrne grabbed an 87th minute equalizer, a game Ganso was suspended for. Could he have made the difference if he had been on the pitch? Freddie Whites fell away with Harstad and got relegated. The end of season form was awful with only 1 win in the final 7 games. One of Freddies poorer seasons as he only managed 7 goals and 8 assists. Jesus Christ ensured Nest-Sotra stayed up. It was an impressive 7th place for a club with no goalscorer in the team. Even JC’s call for his fathers help went unanswered but the management will be looking for reinforcements in the pre-season as they appeared to have a bit of a cull and only have 7 first teamers left. Mike Nevo dragged KFUM Oslo clear, but only just. It was impressive season personally as he socred 26 goals in 26 starts. Hopefully it gives the club a platform to build on next year. Group One Omar Brown once again finishes runners up with Strindheim. The failure to win the group could possibly be put down to a Brown injury. He was out for 2 months with a rib injury in late August and the club suffered 3 consecutive defeats with him out of the team showing they are still a one man team. Steve Duffy and Pors capitalised on the drop in form to gain promotion at the first attempt after relegation. Currently injured with a dislocated shoulder the club will be hoping he will be fit for the start of the new season. They will need his goals to stay up in the 1st division. Herring finished in 4th place with Skeid. The club couldn’t grab a result against the teams above them, only managing a win and a draw against the top three. They will need to improve upon that to earn the promotion Herring deserves. He managed double figures for the 3rd consecutive season from midfield which is a decent return. Dench Frimpong and Moss managed a third place finish which is their best so far. A good year for Frimpong as he got into double figures for goals and assists for the first time. Arawn Moridin and Lorenskog had a season to forget as they just about escaped relegation. Moridin will be disappointed with his return of just 5 goals and 3 assists but the poor return is probably down the poor calibre of players around him. The club had a change of manager at the end of the year. The new man is former Leeds midfielder Eirik Bakke, perhaps he can get the best out of young Arawn. Severus Moody will be very disappointed with this year at Steinkjer. It was an amazing fall after almost winning promotion last season. Moody was fantastic with 24 goals to his name but he didn’t get any help from his team mates. The managers position is said to be insecure and perhaps they need a new man at the helm for the coming year. Group Two Jaime Bowmimo managed to get Baerum over the line. Bowmimo has to get a lot of the credit as he managed a massive 23 assists. The club are preparing for next season already as they let most of the first team squad leave on free transfers. They will need to get some better quality players in to ensure survival in the 1st division, the youth prospects they promoted do not look up to the job. Luke Corcoran and Floy almost made it but 3 draws in the last 4 games put an end to their promotion chances. Luke was in great form and the big man looks a danger from set pieces as he notched 8 goals for the season. Demba Hynd tailed off with Kristiansund as the club dropped to a 5th place finish. It was a poor return by Hynd who only provided 6 assists all year. Report card reads must do better. Wolodymyr Zelenko also fell away with Lillehammer. Zelenko was in good form as managed a 7.43 AR and 9 MOM awards. The club had a takeover last season and retained the manager; perhaps a change would have seen better results. Daniel Park will be thinking what if at Tonsberg. After a very poor start the club marched up the league in the second half of the season. A run of 13 wins and a draw left them in contention on the last day of the season. They faced Ranheim and a win would have been enough due to the better goal difference but they lost the game 4-3. It looks good for next season if they can keep that up though. Jake Stothard also had a good second half of the season with Follo. They had a change of manager in mid June and they reaped the rewards. It’s the 4th manager in 3 years though so he will need to deliver success to keep his job. On a personal note Stothard got into double figures for the first time. Group Three Lewis Leddy finally did it with Algard. They dominated and won the title by 10 points in the end. Lewis scored 44 goals along the way for a memorable season. Looks like a rebuilding job now as they only retained 9 first teamers. Quality players will be needed for the coming year. Geraint Alacarde secured second place with Notodden. They tried to apply the pressure and managed 8 wins from 9 during the run in but Algard were too strong in the end. Geraint had his best season goals wise and will be confident of getting promoted next year if the club can keep up the good run of form. Juan Coco Luis Pereira was awesome at Orn Horten’s but it wasn’t enough to get the club promoted. Massive amounts of goals, assists and MOM awards for the Portuguese striker. Only 3 defeats all season so the draws look to have cost them in the end. Tiko Brohan fell short with Vindbjart. The club was too inconsistent as they only managed consecutive victories twice all season. Will need a better effort next year to get promoted. Tromsdalen made it to the final of the Cup. They finally went down 3-1 but is promising for Lorenzo and co. ShyBaldBuddhist
I may be dropping some players due to inactivity. No idea if Whiteriot or hyndlegs are following as they have not posted during the 6 updates so far. I will give them until the end of the next season, if no message to at least say they are following I will be dropping them from future updates. It takes a while to grab all the screenshots and get the updates written up. Bit of a pointless task if people are no longer following. Not asking for long winded replies but at least a line or two by people to acknowledge they are still around would be a good.
5ergio
Oh god... Ganso performing well enough for a midfielder but getting sent off before the decider game, lovely We should get promoted next season for sure.
ri916
great season from Jc. The clearout looks promising and im sure we will at least avoid relegation again. I fancy tromdalen to get promoted again but maybe we could sneak a second spot

Nicky Lead
bout time that the Algard stayed up there till the end! next season is going to be very interesting. Lewis is going to need to be in lethal form with the looks of the squad
slich
Great job by Tonsberg to bounce back in the 2nd half, but jeez its rough missing out on promotion by losing the last game two years in a row
duffy89
Wow, never thought we'd bounce straight back! From what I can see we were unbeaten in the second half of the season only drawing 4 times and winning the rest! Come on Pors, let's avoid the drop this time!
