Bit hard when other's have already started, effectively it would mean people who start with retained players have an advantage over those who started without retained players. It's upto Dafuge obviously & what he thinks is best, we're only a week into what is essentially a long term game so might be best to think about it at least I guess. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Actually, I remember at some point last year, that it was determined it was actually easier by starting with an empty squad and you can choose exactly who you want whereas when you start with players you need to assess what's good and bad and you need to offload players also to make room for new ones.

I think the advantages and disadvantages even out, I remember with Marine in FM2006 when I was stuck with a useless defender on £1K a week that was about half my wage budget icon_frown.gif whereas I think Gateshead people had a defender who lasted till the Championship/Premiership.

Wide: 109x77 yards. I like to pass the ball about and get it out to the wingers.

My fans are unhappy with his performances, granted hes not a great keeper. I think hes done reasonably well in goal. They seem to hate every keeper I sign icon_frown.gif

League

Gave up on my defensive tactic, to a much more attacking one. The one thing you can gaurentee in a match where my teams playing, there isn't going to be many goals.

I have been promoted to league two! Just going to continue until I get a contract then expect season report! icon_smile.gif

Hopefully this will help me keep hold of Savage. Surely Blackburn isn't that much of a step up icon_wink.gif

Boreham Wood. October 2009 Conference South.

Current league position 9th.

Only lost 1 of last 12 games, (but only won 5, and 2 of them were cup matches). Strikers missing cows arse with banjo.

It's not looking good icon_frown.gif.

Average attendance is waaay down on last season.

Finances as a result of average attendance.

Confidence is pretty good.

Despite finance confidence being non-existant.

AFC Hornchurch - Blue Square South 2012/13 - Playoff Final

My 5th season in charge, and my first appearence in the playoffs has lead me to my first appearence in the playoff final. I put no end of effort into this, giving each and every player specific instructions and did a fair bit of opposition instructions also. I'm delighted to say that it payed off.

Result - Player Ratings

The second I went in front I started playing defensively with counter attack, and managed to nick a second goal shortly after on a good break from my own half. The goal from Ashley Cain was just part of his record breaking season for the club, where he has notched up the most ever assists, the most ever goals, the most ever man of the match awards and, to top it all off, the Player of the Season award.

Transfers In/Out - Promotion Winning Squad - Board and Fan Confidence - My Profile

I'm absolutely delighted that I have finally managed to get promotion after my 5th attempt, but I do have a few questions I would like some people to answer that have already achieved this if it isn't too much trouble. Have you totally cleared out your squad of staff and players and started fresh after promotion, or have you stuck with the team you had and only brought in a few players to keep the team together in the new season. I was planning on totally rebuilding in the summer, but my side is playing so well at the moment that I'm worried about disrupting the squad harmony. Alot of my players and staff have their contract up at the end of the season, so I can offload them for nothing should I need to, but would prefer some opinions on it first.

Also, to celebrate my promotion - I have decided to reward myself and remake the totally crap kits that Hornchurch has into a style that I prefer and is modelled with Barcelona in mind with the sponsor (as naturally we are dubbed the next Barcelona now we are in the Blue Square Premier. I've done that already, I'm assuming it's something wrong with the types of invited teams like Mexico and Costa Rica into the competition.

He's in a Benny and "feels he was brought to the club under false pretenses". icon_frown.gif I've got 4 other strikers that are better then him, and Grant and Dixon are both League 2 standard so he doesn't really get a run in.

Though 1 of my strikers is from my feeder club and is going back in a month, so he may move up in my pecking ( icon_redface.gif ) order.

cookie. Super Kyle certainly wasn't up to much in FM07, but so far in my game he has scored 51 goals in 2 and a bit seasons. Sounds pretty good to me.

Jordanknox. Look, I'm not making this personal as I can imagine how you felt, but use of the editor is a big no no. If it makes you feel any bettewr I have encountered an attendance bug that looks like it will make me get the sach for poor financial performances and I will just have to take it on thechin and start again.

The rule is no editors EVER.

dafuge led the way in this respect by refusing to buckle after the St****s incident.

I did manage to sign a striker who I hope will be his permanent replacement. 4 goals in 7 games isn't bad for a member of the team.

Baidoo recovered from his injury pretty quickly

First game back and he came on as sub on 71st minute, then this happened injured within 4 minutes icon_frown.gif

Accidental collision my arse, they know that he's the best striker at the club.

If you can tempt them on trial so you can get a coach report, yes. If you can't scout them or get them on trial, you can't sign them.

I was wrong, it took 2 minutes for some dumb lump to break Baidoo's jaw.
