Muamba
Alright, Every time i come onto the forum i always see words and i don't no what they meen Eg: What's a Regen? Or What's AI Meen? Sounds stupid but it's annoying me that i don't no haha
Matty Hart
Regen is a ficticious player i think, someone who is introduced to the game when the 'real' players start to retire etc. AI = Computer. Maybe wrong, but thats just a guess.
rinso
regen = player generated by the game to replace someone who's retired. ai = artificial intelligence. in this case, refers to computer controlled clubs and managers
Muamba
Thankss ! I should of known that
Team Franchise 2008
Further add, regen stands for regeneration, or regenerated player.
Super Bladesman
Regens are also often called newgens these days, to reflect the fact that the system for production of new players for the database changed some time back. They used to just regenerate the old players, so there'd be a new Michael Laudrup born with a different name etc. Now the newgens are created from scratch. Actually they should now be Fred's, as their generation is no longer tied to retirements.
