RedRock1986
Just have a look at his personal page and 2nd nationality.
rednwhites
This is definitely an odd one.... EDIT: Quick google search indicates is Granddad is from Sierra Leone.
RedRock1986
Still cannot believe it... As second nationality though?
Gizmo7
I'm intrigued.. anyone want to explain?
Cavi
That's funny, never knew that!
RedRock1986
They got his second nationality down as Sierra leone. His grandparents were from there apparently - I just think that if he were to have a 2nd nationality it would be somewhere on the British Isles. Gizmo7
haha never knew that before.
saulty2805
Why is it weird? He must have qualified to play for Sierra Leone therefore it is his 2nd nationality
RedRock1986
Dunno, I look at it and it looks like a glaring error. Would have thought that he would have had someone else in his family that would have allowed him to qualify for Eng/Scot/Ire.

AlexFergusonsApprentice
As far as I can remember he has always had Sierra Leone as a second nationality in FM, so to me not weird, lol. I guess down to me being a Man Utd so every year I choose Man Utd, but to people who haven't noticed it before I sgree it would seem strange.
Blue_magic
Well I have known for a very long time that he had black in him. Way back from his early days.
x42bn6
There's lots of things like this in-game. For example, Jermaine Beckford is eligible for Grenada and Titus Bramble is eligible for Montserrat.
King toad
Ya, it's true, Giggsy is mixed race. Got racially abused for it when he was younger for it too.
JWB935
Seriously people have never noticed that Ryan Giggs is mixed race?? really??? I mean its pretty obvious. On the question of his second nationality being Sierra leone I thought it would have been English as its been talked about for years that he was eligable to play for England but chose wales when hewas younger. Actually I think he played for England at a very young age, like young teens. Maybe its just well known in Manchester?? (and the fact he once signed for city ) Edit: I'm thought wrong, he played for England but its only because his school was in England and it does not make him Eligable, so I guess Sierra Leone is spot on (Y)
Kain
He was never eligble for England. He only played for England schoolboys because he went to school in England.
Scath
His dad was a pro rugby league player wasn't he? He's part African, no biggie.
SGartz
Yeah Giggs is mixed race. Funnily enough, just read his Autobiography!
phnompenhandy
Si don't get these things wrong! You didn't know Giggsy is more African than English?
aderow
Si don't get these things wrong! You didn't know Giggsy is more African than English? love the sarcasm
GillsMan
This would have been an issue for the Man United thread in the Data forum anyway. But as it's correct, I don't see any need to point the OP in that direction. Yup, it's 100% correct.
rafael_colorado
talking about Giggs, I know it's probably common, but as it's the first time I saw, I laughed when, in my game, Viktoria Plzen (or was it Zizkov?) was taken over by a group of investors based in Cardiff and led by Ryan Giggs
