WBA_Baggies
In my season. In games involving my team there have been 10 penalties made and 1 missed from either team. What's the make/miss percentage on your game? They seem to always score on my game
DirtyACE
My team tends to concede less penalties than score, mainly due to my GK being excellent. I'm not sure what the percentage/ratio is, but I do know that my GK has saved the last 3 that have been given against us.
sporadicsmiles
I would say that in general there are more scored than missed. However there seem to be times when it is opposite. At the moment in my Rostov save I have saved the last 5 penalties against me (or they hit woodwork). And in an earlier save my team could not score them for love nor money - I went through a period of not watching because I thought it jinxed it! =}
robertcornell68
I had a miserable time with penalties last season, missing 5 out of ten with three different takers. I also lost a penalty shoot-out in the Cup.
PhroX
I probably see about 2/3 scored, 1/3 missed/saved. That's for and against me. Interestingly, my team are great at scoring pentalies when it matters, but crap at doing so when they don't (eg I'm already 3-0 up)
ManUTactician247
my team has scored all their penalties in the half-a-season I've managed them, probably about 3,4 or 5, my keeper has saved the last
Ihsaan
I don't think I've seen my goalkeeper save a penalty in normal time and I've had Carson and Akinfeev, I'm resigned to conceding as soon as I give away a penalty!
Trents
I've seen plenty of pens either saved or off target wide. Don't recall seeing any skyed over the bar Baggio styly yet though.
DP
Anyone ever seen a striker going around the keeper, only for the keeper to bring him down and concede a penalty? Thought not. This happens a fair amount through the season in real life and should be introduced.
Tyler42
Keep in mind last season Lampard missed his first ever penalty for Chelsea in god knows how long. If you have a good penalty taker it doesnt really matter how good the GK is.
ArsenalFan7
Don't be so sure. My second best penalty taker has missed 2/2 penalties this season. He insists on hitting it left very weakly each time
BroxBorough
Definitely more scored than missed (in my current save anyway) I've been going four seasons now and I've only seen one penalty missed or saved (ignoring penalty shoot outs)
Johnlc
I'm in the lower leagues and miss as many as I score, due to lack of quality takers.
Jops14
My players are pretty naff when they are on their "hat trick" penality. I think ive actually had the last 3 pens missed...
