dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2038/39 The trophies were coming in at a rate, but my challenge was to start rebuilding the squad to keep things going in the future. League Table - an unbeaten season, our first in four years. Community Shield - this was a close one. UEFA Super Cup - another tightly contested match. FIFA Club World Cup - this one was a bit easier. EFL Cup - we scraped through our first match, but went on to lift the cup. FA Cup - I made a major error in not replacing the centre back who was sent off. We got beaten by a League Two team! UEFA Champions League - so close to a perfect season. Squad - the average age is creeping up as a number of players are the wrong side of 30. Transfers - I felt a bit bad selling off two youth products, but Ross was ruined by injuries. Finances - a loss, but nothing to worry about. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - top scorer, but suffered a bad injury. Teddy Renouf - had an amazing time filling in for Mende. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - still at the top of his game at 34. Leo Braun - he's become my first choice AMC. Yû Yokoyama - a promising looking Japanese defender. Career Overview: Season League Position Achievements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2016/17 EFL League Two 3rd Promoted 2017/18 EFL League One 2nd Promoted 2018/19 EFL Championship 6th Playoff semi finalists 2019/20 EFL Championship 7th 2020/21 EFL Championship 5th Playoff winners 2021/22 Premier League 14th 2022/23 Premier League 12th FA Cup winners 2023/24 Premier League 12th Europa League winners 2024/25 Premier League 11th 2025/26 Premier League 1st FA Cup winners 2026/27 Premier League 4th 2027/28 Premier League 3rd Champions League finalists 2028/29 Premier League 4th League Cup and FA Cup winners 2029/30 Premier League 3rd League Cup and FA Cup winners 2030/31 Premier League 4th FA Cup winners 2031/32 Premier League 1st League Cup and Champions League winners, FA Cup finalists 2032/33 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2033/34 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2034/35 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup and FA Cup winners, Champions League finalists 2035/36 Premier League 1st League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2036/37 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2037/38 Premier League 1st CWC, FA Cup and Champions League winners 2038/39 Premier League 1st CWC, League Cup and Champions League winners Next Season: Once again, I'm looking to replace a number of the older players. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2039/40 We have been dominating recently, but my squad rotation has cost us in the domestic cups. Could we do the clean sweep this season? League Table - unbeaten, although we drew quite a few. Community Shield - a great win to kick off the season. UEFA Super Cup - we weren't at our best as we needed penalties to win. FIFA Club World Cup - we made easy work of the Mexicans. EFL Cup - we won every match. FA Cup - another perfect record. UEFA Champions League - not quite perfect, and the final was pure drama. Squad - there's not a huge amount I can do here, but next season might be more interesting as the contacts expire. Transfers - I finally gave in to PSG, and replaced him with someone better. Finances - a profit. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - an incredible scoring record. Teddy Renouf - the youngster looks like a real talent. Christian Nwankwo - expensive, but not considering the £125m sale. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - next season will probably be his last. Mario Prce - another legend who may leave. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2040/41 We have hit our stride now as the trophies are rolling in. League Table - we lost a few, but gained more points than last season. Community Shield - we smashed Chelsea, with an ex player grabbing the consolation goal. UEFA Super Cup - an easy win, although the red card seemed to tighten things up. FIFA Club World Cup - I've no idea why this was played on Boxing Day. EFL Cup - the red card made the final interesting. FA Cup - things were close until our late goals. UEFA Champions League - this was a lot closer than expected. Squad - the squad is huge as I signed a few new players in January, players must be sold. Transfers - I was unusually busy in the transfer market. Finances - a loss. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - incredible again. Kenneth Sabbe - had a blinder as a backup striker. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - this was supposed to be his last season at the club, but I couldn't let him go after this. Dion Lis - this legend's time is up. Christian Nwankwo - cashing in with PSG was one of the best moves I've made. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2041/42 We have been destroying everything in our path, but a number of key players are getting older so the squad needs rebuilding. League Table - not quite unbeaten, but we got to see Southampton relegated on the last day. Community Shield - a goal fest to kick of the season. UEFA Super Cup - another high scoring friendly match. FIFA Club World Cup - it was great to face some unusual opposition in this. EFL Cup - we had to hold on in the semi final, but made simple work of the final. FA Cup - amazingly Stoke gave us our toughest test. UEFA Champions League - the final was a thriller as we came from behind late on only to concede an equaliser. We turned on the class in extra time. Squad - the squad needs trimming before next season. Transfers - I panicked and spent £104m on a right back! Finances - a decent profit considering the transfers. Key Player Profiles: Danny Mende - amazing as always. Teddy Renouf - the brilliant second striker. Nestoras Ktistopoulos - he's finally decided to retire, which is great. Tomas Masek - the £104m man. Kevin Dau - this defender will be hard to replace. dafuge
Portsmouth - Premier League - 2042/43 The trophies are coming thick and fast, and with the squad in great shape this should continue for some time. League Table - a pretty standard season. Community Shield - we needed penalties to win the season opener. UEFA Super Cup - this win was a bit more comfortable. FIFA Club World Cup - São Paulo pushed us all the way as we hung on for the win. EFL Cup - a narrow win against the only other team to win this competition in the last ten years. FA Cup - we made easy work of the Championship opposition. UEFA Champions League - eight in a row now. Squad - the squad is in superb shape, they should be good for the next few years. Transfers - I cashed in on another DM in favour of a talented youngster. Finances - a decent profit. Key Player Profiles: Teddy Renouf - top scorer, as a supporting striker too. Danny Mende - not as his best this season, but still brilliant. Kenneth Sabbe - our most valuable player, but not quite a first choice. Cristián Nunez - the young defender had an impressive season. James Chukwu - the new signing had a solid but unspectacular season. I'm hoping he'll play as a DM.
