  1. Should add the only way of being able to see staff is by going to staff, overview and clicking All.
  2. Simply put I cannot see who my staff are when Clicking through to both U21 and U18 teams upon creating a game. Current team Cardiff City. As you will see from screenshot I can view my first team staff, See their attributes etc. But when trying to view the U21 or U18 staff the option to view them is not showing up like it does for the first team which shows up aqua and has a '>' next to coaching team.
  3. Maybe I've misread what it said when I took over there then. And I honestly thought that Ramasut was let go at same time as Morison was. I stand corrected. Chesterfield is set as a future move in the game. This is going to cause either Reen being removed from position or the board likely to block it. Probably the latter. I get why Sallis is what he is. Despite my not thinking of him as a coach per se.
  4. I'm not quite sure on that. Coaches I see as those who are there training squad. Not someone analysing and helping keep people in the right mindset.
  5. That's the U21 staff screen. Unlike the First team staff page the 'Coaching team' is not underlined and allowing me to click on it to see who the staff are that are employed. Same with the U18 team. Has U23 now changed over to U21?
  6. Just did. Took control of all responsibilities on who to hire/fire/courses etc. I still cannot see who the 'Staff' are. I'm just about to save and reload to see if that works
  7. Am I correct in saying that because this is just a BETA version that I have no real say with regards to my U23/U18 Staff until the full release. As I am unable to see or view them.
  8. Cardiff City Steve Morison (Manager) & Tom Ramasut (Assistant Manager) were both sacked on 18th September but still at the club in the game. Gavin Reen (Head of youth Development) apparently, Should be Academy operations manager (Obviously this isn't a role within the game) - This is going to be an issue with the pending arrival of Gavin Chesterfield on November 14th Steve Sallis - Shows as a coach. When he is Head of Performance Mindset (Again not a role within the game - unless this is similar to a performance analyst?)
  9. Is there a forum/thread where we can post with regards to Data error e.g Manager still being in charge of a team/Assistant still at the club despite them being sacked. Cardiff City still have Steve Morison as manager and Tom Ramasut as assistant despite both being sacked on 18th September. I thought initially that there must be a cut off Date but seems not to have been that date as it was the same date that Roberto De Zerbi was appointed as Brighton Manager and he is currently correct.
  10. First window for me Keita and Ox ship out. Spend the cash on a CM likes of Bellingham or Moriba. Hendo/Thiago/Fabinho all equally adept for the DM position and Konate possibly has the attributes to play there.
  11. Set the scene.. Still waiting the release of FM23 after hilariously being trolled by the Devs and Mods that there was going to be a new instalment in the epic franchise they call Football Manager..
  12. Yep that is annoying as heck. Also saying there has been no improvement in the attributes being trained yet I can clearly see they have raised from say 8 to 10 which clearly is an improvement.
  13. Technically they did buy him. The transfer fee that they agreed in January was the fee they payed for him this summer despite him then being out of contract.
  14. Great reply. I agree it probably would be a lot of work to completely empty the database, But then this would allow for the game to then just auto fill teams with newgens. With regards to training - I'd prefer it to be just below where it says custom schedule. Rather than it sit over to the right hand side.
  15. One thing that seriously annoys me this year is the constant messages of 'Player X,Y,Z' complaining about too much 'tactical/technical/quickness etc' training/Not enough 'tactical/technical/quickness etc' training. I get it when setting up custom training schedules or even when it's the A.M who has set the training. I've seen it with lower division players and even supposed Elite talents. Is there any way of combatting these constant messages which are severely annoying. I do not want to see these messages on an almost weekly basis via coaches/ass.man
  16. When starting a game with fake players. Rather than the players be just generated names of the players they are replacing. Wouldn't it be better to just completely start with Newgens instead - So ages/ PA,CA / Nationality all completely random rather than being able to just go to say P.S.G and finding the fake Messi or Man Utd and finding fake Ronaldo. I know they aren't going to have the same attributes as the originals but it's still too easy to spot them. You'd have thought the whole idea behind fake players would be the randomisation of it all. Imagine scouting around and finding a gem at Crewe or Dulwich Hamlet that then goes on to become a world class star. Right now finding such players is easy as they are all still at the clubs they are in real life just with different names. As well as this it would be nice to be able to insert a training schedule in for the whole season or even month rather than painstakingly having to do it week by week. Especially if you are setting training for 3 teams (First, U23 and U18). Having a drop down menu for each month to insert training schedule for these would take away the tediousness behind this. Also when clicking custom schedules. Can we get the custom schedule added just beneath where it states custom schedule rather than to the right hand side as shown in pic. Again this would improve efficiency when going to load a schedule.
  17. This is very similar to how it was way back in CM0102 with Wib/Wob screens. (Wib = With ball, Wob = Without ball so basically attack/defensive)
  18. Cardiff City - No funds, Debt up to their eyeballs and a newly assembled squad of majority free transfers. And an owner that has no direction or clue on how to run a football club.
  19. Wonderful goal.. Tiki taka, Followed by a good old fashioned Cross and header. Not just lumped upfield in hope
  20. 3 at the back is not really that advisable. Probably best looking at something like a 4-1-2-3 narrow or 4-1-2-3 wide. Plenty of the top tactics Knap has produced are of this variant
  21. @Neil Brock It can be frustrating as a player when the board requests such stuff as playing direct football. Especially when they initially tell you they are highly impressed with the gegenpressing style of play that has helped the club achieve promotion etc. And when it comes to trying to negotiate this with the board they simply refuse to back down. Would be nice if this could be dumbed down a little for FM23 in that they are more willing to listen to your suggestion of removing it from the club vision.
