    Crashdump when exiting the game

    We have an investigation open into a crash on exit. It is not very common (not everyone gets it) but it does seem to happen on occasion (it does not affect the save or anything else bad).

    Odd cause though. It may be game files. However if he reinstalled Windows I wonder if that means something else is wrong? Worth him testing other games...

    For FM I would recommend clear cache and prefs folders, uninstall, & reboot then reinstall - this is putting FM back on as clean as it can be! (worth making a copy of the save outside My Documents)

    If that doesn't clear it up it might be worth checking with our tech support by raising a ticket... something would have to be wrong with the system itself for it to keep happening after that!

    Strange FM21 problem

    You can likely sort this by removing the cache & preferences folders; it'll make FM check what your screen is set to

    We do have an FAQ item that guides you though this issue:

    Unlikely, but if it STILL persists after all that, our tech support team can help, just raise a Support Ticket.

    Yeah sorry, I have been discussing this internally.

    OK, here's what we're gonna do. A lot of the complaints are from real-world problems with the competition. Scheduling, basically. Blame FIFA for some of that :D

    That said, don't think it's a great experience in FM either. So I've logged this for our developers after a few discussions; we're going to see what we can do. I've suggested for example, being able to prioritise training during the CWC period (vs holidays, testimonials, internationals etc.)

    So it's logged for review.

    Sorry about that! There are a few changes being made in this area, but I think I'd like to investigate this

    Might be a pain so sorry if it is one, but a save before you sign these players would be good. Basically to track what the game does... the Strengthen promise, it goes by position (Midfield is flexible enough, doesn't matter what role they play)  and if the new players are a clear upgrade? Absolutely should count

    Happy to take on board the other points too to see what happens internally; only a month to fulfill a January transfer window promise for example.. hmm.

    Think a lot of it is areas we're working on anyway, but happy to take a look, just let me know the save's name if you do upload one. I'll play through it for a bit and get any issues I spot to the developers.

    OK, we've been making changes to this area of the game, and it's led to a different result in my internal testing:

    In your save, for me, he still complains - by the point your save is at, the promise has failed, so fair enough - but I'm able to tell him no club was interested. And in our internal build, he goes "fair enough", and drops it. So, that part will get better...

    However the promise still sticks around. And there seems to be another promise in the background about wanting a new contract that failed ages ago. Doesn't seem right, especially in my testing when he "dropped the issue".

    So, I've logged this for our developers to take a look. Thanks for raising!

    Sorry about the frustration of this mate, I'll explain what I can about this and how it should be working, but happy to look at a save too in case it's the game going wrong.

    OK, so loans should count towards this Strengthen promise. Joe Adams is a left winger, check. You say he's the best left winger at the club - that should count. 

    So if you have a save before you sign Adams we can investigate what happens, do you have one please? From what you're saying it does sound like we should be looking at it as a game issue.

    Happy to look into this, on the face of it, it sounds a bit contradictory.

    I'd need a save before this happens, appreciate if you don't have one before they start feeling unhappy, but one before this message about Mane, for example, I'll see what happens and get over to the developers if necessary

    Still looking through it. There is absolutely no trace of your stadium, it's odd.

    I do think there is an issue here.

    Just to save me time if possible.. ! Do you happen to have an even earlier save? What I am thinking is something is going wrong at the stage of requesting the new stadium (or alternately, when you get the email of them announcing they're doing it on their own) - I don't think it's registering to Club Vision and this is what I'm trying to reproduce

    So I'm still looking at it, but if you can help, I'd like a save where it's just before the new stadium is even / agreed / discussed - but appreciate it might be a big ask to go back multiple seasons!

    Testing this internally, but I would welcome some saves for all these different clubs if they're not appearing

    It's probably not down to the individual clubs... but I'll take a look at any you guys can provide. Just let me know 1) the save name and 2) what season you're in

    If they said they will do it, it should appear on Club Vision

    To investigate I think I'll need quite an early save - sorry if this is a big ask but do you have one before the conversation where the new stadium was agreed?

    If I can recreate it internally and see it for myself I can then take it to the developers
