    I just had 2 players from my youth intake who wanted extravagant playing time and exorbitant wage demands before signing and wouldn't negotiate down from them and so I had walked away from the negotiations. Just as they were about to be released, I was given the option to let the DoF negotiate and he got them both to sign the bare minimum youth contracts- Wow! Maybe I will use him in specific circumstances from here

    If yoo stick to the board's budgets, then it is unlikely that you will lose your job because of the club finances. If you get relegated, then it is likely that you will regardless of the finances. So, stave off relegation but stay within the budget.

    It has to be a combination of all the available data and reports. Players with lower CA/star ratings can sometimes fit better into your team, so it is best not to get too hung up on any single item.

    The third-party editors will allow you to edit the kits if this worries you so much.

    Extra time at the end of a half is based on the number of stoppages during that half and since most substitutions occur in the second half, it would be normal for more time to be added on in the second half, particularly when time-wasting tactics are used. It is not something that can be set in code before the game starts.

    I would certainly start by watching more of the game -extended highlights at least. You probably need to manage the game more than you are currently doing because every change that you make can affect the final outcome as the game recalculates the end result each time there is a change.

    Because of the age of this game, some sites will have archived the download. A quick Google search shows a number of sites still have it, so try that

    Tests that SI carry out over extended periods and in multiple countries have shown that the level of injuries in-game is below the real-life levels. There will be times when you will get a surge and we tend to remember them and not so much the times when injury levels are low.

    If he is consistently performing well on the pitch, there are no reasons that I can see why you should get rid of him unless there is another option that offers a substantial increase in output.

    You have asked a question about a 13-year-old game so it is likely that nobody knows the answer for sure. This is a community and you have to accept that other users may not know the answers to a question raised and it is unfair to bump your own thread when there are no replies.

    No- they are playing in a higher league so expect to get paid in line with the wages of that division. You will have to ride out the wave of unhappiness.

    Remember that the game starts with all the summer transfers already made, so many clubs will have filled their needs and emptied their budget at the start. You will need to be very realistic about the kind of fee you can get for a player that you don't want

    On the squad screen select "home grown status" and you will see all the details there.

    Never let a DoF make staff recruitment decisions or you will have a staff room stuffed with multiple unnecessary appointments.

    I would ask what you consider to be the advantage of loading 250 leagues and say 250000 players and realistically only being interested in about 1% of them. Your save game will start large and grow as the years go on with the inevitable slow down, so only you can judge whether it is worth it.
