oh, it'll be a while until we get there, but once we finish multiple seasons, do we give everyone's total stats for all seasons we've completed in the table or just their stats for the most recent season?

4-1-3-2 with 1 ML, 1 MC, and 1MR...

We give up way too many penalties. :(

EDIT: Thanks refs for blowing another offside call and awarding my opponent another penalty. I really appreciate it. -.-

Haven't been relegated into a non-playable league before, so if things get bad, I'll restart...

I was just wondering if anyone would be interested if I ran this database in full detail holiday mode and reported what happened to Real London CSE and its squad when controlled by the AI?

I thought it might be quite fun to learn what becomes of us all when an AI manager is in charge. It would be conducted in the form of a long-term experiment as an aside to the actual challenge.

The only thing I am worried about is spoiling the game for those who are actually playing but as the PAs are all random it should be ok!

I don't have much time to play FM and the little time I do have is devoted to my Saints game, so this would allow me to contribute something to the thread. Although I would probably still play the actual challenge a little bit too, albeit much slower than the rest of you. :D

I'd produce updates at the end of each holiday season for all players including those who move on to have careers outside of Real London CSE.

Let me know your thoughts everyone!

Yeah, thats sounds good. I'd be more than happy for you to do that.

as others have said, it sounds good Crouchy

meanwhile in my game we seem to be facing one hell of an injury problem, and inevitable relegation :D

oh and to add to that, did John Sumner start in anyone elses reserves? would have missed him completely if I hadn't checked reserve and u18 squad at the start of the season.

Yeah I noticed that too.

If you get the sack due to relegation, whats the plan??

Cheers guys.

Time to holiday.

Good luck everyone. I hope we get a good manager. :D

Any early predictions for what will happen to Real London under the AI?

C.

We will probably do dreadful. Miserable fail. :D

AI will have no idea how to play Ricky Nakano, and the Rickster will get mad at him. :p

The AI will probably be better than me. :(

I don't like to be that pessimistic, but restarting the challenge I suppose :D

in early October at the moment and although I'm in a 'safe' 10th place, I'm only 8 points off the bottom relegation place, so I'm far from safe.

Some interesting stats for everyone -

  • Despite originally being planned as the 4th best striker, due to injuries amongst the team and some good substitute appearances, Brownie is my top goalscorer
  • Despite originally being planned as the main player on the left, due to an early injury, Ridleys is the only person not to have been involved in any competitive games!
  • We currently have 6 full internationals in the squad (Ricky Nakano, Tyler Burrows, Andrew Jackson, Whoopy, Nep and Bobby Balrajj) Despite not being actually capped for India, Balrajj has been picked in a few squads so he does count apparently.
  • Steven Canvey currently has the most assists in the squad
  • Only one player has been sent off so far, and that was Almondo
  • There are currently 5 players out with injuries (Gundo who has a hip injury, dafuge who has a calf strain, Ridleys who has a torn calf muscle, Nep who has a twisted knee and Andrew Jackson who has a pulled hamstring)
  • Nep has the best pass completion in the entire league at 77 percent
  • Mikey Twigge is one of the most hard working players in the league (6th), covering 90.5KM
  • On average per game, Canvey has the second best distance covered in the entire league, at 10.1KM. Dipdees is 4th with 9.8KM.

I'll throw up some stats - Top 10's for league stats, if you're in it :D

-Gilbster is the 5th best GK, conceding only 2 goals. (In 3 apps)

-Dipdees is =10th for assists, with 4.

-Gundo is 3rd on the list for Yellows, with 5.

-Crouchaldinho! is =9th for pass completion, at 72%

-Whoopy is 3rd on the list for tackles per game, with an astonishing 6.4 tackles per game.

-Almondo is 3rd on the list for Dribbles per game at 7.19 per game.

-Almondo is 1st on the list for Distance/90 minutes, at 10.1KM per game

-Dipdees is 3rd on that same list, with 10.0km per game

-Whoopy is 6th for average rating, with an average rating of 7.17

Crouchaldinho gave away penalty

:o

Currently holidaying.

Will take some considerable time due to having it all on full detail. When it's finished the first season, I will give you all an update.

This is good because I can get my Real London CSE fix and get some MA dissertation work done! :D

I have to apologise to tom for scoring a 93rd minute own goal against Bromley right after I got the equaliser as well

I had mixed emotions. It was a great game though. Went 2-0 down, and then went 3-2 ahead, and then conceeded two (including your own goal) in the last few minutes of the game.

Come on you Saints!

Whoops. Ahem. :o

Divided loyalty. :D

C.

I thought you'd like that despite this being the Real London thread.
