tomsmith1989
I had just come on here to tell the world of my 6-1 thrashing of Fisher, and see the update above, and antfm08 has gone and trumped that by beating St. Albans (Look away Crouchaldinho) 7-0. Still. I'm very pleased with 6-1. It'll be in the next update anyway. One shocking moment was when Murray missed a penalty, but cooly slid home the rebound. Phew! hasdgfas
October: Int Callups: Paul Hart(Northern Ireland U19s), Michael Murray(Northern Ireland U19s), Steven Canvey(Switzerland U19s), Int Callups: Gundo(Norway U19s), Robert Jones(Wales U19s), Swafe(wales U19s), Tom Smith(Portugal U19s) Int Callup: NepentheZ(Seychelles) BSS match #10: Maidenhead(away): 2-2 have I mentioned Almondo is immense at crosses, even with just a 7? He's given us lots of chances. Goal for Brownie on a great through ball from canvey in the 19th minute. 3 great chances missed because we shot it right at the keeper. And then we give up something silly and give up a 38th minute goal. Swafe gives up a penalty(anyone else giving up loads of penalties?) to put us down 2-1 right before the half. Brownie puts in the equalizer in the 73rd minute, excellent goal. Excellent to save a point, but these penalties are ridiculous. Why are we giving up so many? Anyone got some advice? Int Callup: Ricky Nakano called up to the Canada U20s Int Duty Results: Michael Murray: 7.8, Paul Hart: 5.8, Swafe: 7.7, Gundo: 5.6, Steven Canvey: 6.3 More Int Results: Robert Jones: 6.4, Gundo: 7.7, 1 assist, MoM, Steven Canvey: 6.3, Michael Murray: 6.6 More Int Results: NepentheZ: 5.4, Ricky Nakano: 6.2 More Int Results: Paul Hart: 5.9, Gundo: 5.3, Steven Canvey: 6.0, Swafe: 6.2, Robert Jones: 6.4 BSS match #11: Thurrock(home): 3-2 RLCSE Gave up a goal in the 20th minute. Our defense just sat back and admired it. Oh look, we give up a penalty, what a surprise. Goalie sit there, they go up 2-0. Dunphy puts a nice one in right before the half, maybe we can salvage something. One of our players is mauled in the box and we don't get a penalty(of course). Dunphy puts one in in the 86th minute to equalize! Let's hold boys. DUNPHY AGAIN AT THE DEATH! Hat trick to pull out the win at the end! BSS match #12: Fisher(away): 2-1 RLCSE They score an own goal off a corner to put us up 1-0 after about 23 minutes. Almondo cross(of course) and Canvey puts it in. I knew there was a reason I never played Gilbster, horrible decisions and we give up a goal we shouldn't have. We have a goal called back for offside, I couldn't tell if it was a good decision or not. However, we win 2-1. I've noticed that we often have the majority of possession, but less shots. We do, however, make the most of our chances in all of these matches, which is what has had us near the top of the table most of the season to this point. BSS match #13: Chelmsford(home): 3-1 RLCSE 3rd minute: Almondo cross, Canvey goal. Sound familiar? Yes it does. Nothing else exciting in the first half. some excitement in the 69th minute. Robert Jones crosses it in and it bounces off a Chelmsford player into the net. We'll take it Chelmsford scores a corner in the 84th minute. I hate when that happens, because the goalie should stop it. THANK YOU WE FINALLY GET A PENALTY. Murray and his 20 Penalty taking put it in. Yay for goalies scoring. Pretty good month sees me win Manager of the Month. League Table First place through October, I just hope I can continue this pretty decent run of form. Every match is a battle at this level though. @michaeltmurrayuk: I start you in goal as you've performed much better for me than Gilbster, who has no shutouts and always makes at least one stupid decision a game. Goals53
right that CLC game is an epic its 4-4 i went 2-0 down and then dunphy scored a penalty so i was well happy then they went three one ahead and i thought it was over then in the 61st minute Dunphy scored a freekick and then in the 81st minute he completed hes hattrick i went mental . Extra time came and we conceded was gutted until you guessed that man Dunphy popped up again for his fourth of the game! 4 mins left in extra time so i bring on Michael Murray to take a penalty . Wish me luck

hasdgfas
November: My comp restarted, so I lost the work I had done on the first half of the update, but I didn't lose progress as I saved the game, so quick scores and info for these 2 matches. RLCSE 3-0 Basingstoke RLCSE 0-1 Bath (really ugly on both sides) Callups: Ricky Nakano(Canada U20s), Whoopy(New Zealand) FA Trophy 3rd qualifying round: Chatham(away): 4-1 RLCSE Brownie scores a nice goal in the 22nd minute from the opposite edge of the area. nothing else exciting in the first half. Brownie gets another nice goal in the 50th minute, although it took some luck, the keeper veered it off its line, but it still went it. Then Brownie gets injured(of course). Dunphy scores in the 66th minute off a nice cross. Missed who crossed it though, unfortunately. And Paul Hart gives up a penalty, which they score. Boo, thought we'd gotten rid of that little problem recently. Dunphy puts another one in after an Almondo cross and some bouncing of the ball in the box. Game over, we won rather handily. 4K from that win, which is kinda nice. Ugh, Brownie has a broken leg and is out for 7-8 months FA Trophy 1st round Draw: Chelmsford away. Not too bad at all BSS Match #16: Havant & W(away): 2-1 H&W Nothing at all to speak of in the first half. Ugh, H&W scored a direct FK in the 58th minute. Why can't we ever do that? Almondo cross, dafuge goal. easy as that. As long as Almondo is in, we have the chance for a goal. And we give up a penalty, of course. Goalie just stands there as normal. I really don't think that was a penalty though, looked to me like he got the ball, although it's hard to tell in this ME. It was away though, not a huge deal. BSS Match #17: Hayes & Yeading(away): 2-1 H&Y Nothing to speak of in the first half. well, that sucked. They get an easy goal off a cross. The goalie doesn't even try to catch the cross. Dunphy header for the equalizer! From my Arsenal loanee. oh come on that was no penalty. We had the better chance at the ball. Ugh, not that I can do anything about it. 85th minute too. Boo at the penalty, but it's our fault for not putting our chances in. Form needs to improve. League table Even with the form drop, we are holding onto the top spot. Those two teams with matches in hand might jump us, but it's only the end of November.

hasdgfas
December Season 1: BSS Match #18: Newport Co(home): 2-1 Newport Co wow, we give up a really ugly goal because the goalie falls over. Halftime, and we've had more chances, but done nothing with them. Where has our brilliant form gone? Nice goal by Paul Hart off a corner in the 64th minute. wow, ugly defending and we give up another goal. We just run up to the guy, stop and run away. Don't even try to tackle. Nothing else to report, and match over. I think I need some tactical adjustment. Let's see how the FA Trophy match goes first, though. FA Trophy 1st Round: Chelmsford(away): 4-2 Chelmsford Ugly defending, we give up a goal off a cross, this seems familiar. Burrows gives up a clear unnecessary penalty, they score. We give up a goal off a corner, this is horrid. Jackson gets us a consolation goal in the 73rd minute. Canvey scores in the 76th on a fluke, maybe the first one wasn't just consolation. Oh wait, yes it was, they score a header. That's game, horrendous outing, I definitely need to adjust my tactic. BSS Match #19: St. Albans(home): 2-1 St Albans gave up a goal off a corner, this isn't looking great. Crouchaldinho! with his first goal right afterwards, excellent. wow, talk about an opposing foul on our goalie that they don't call which leads to a goal. What is with these 2-1 losses. Need to fix this right now. BSS Match #20: Welling(away): 0-0 BOXING DAY! Trying out a new tactic for this match, let's hope it works. Pretty good first half for us, even if we didn't score from it. It's holding them that I care more about right now. Very boring match, but we get a point, thankfully. League Table A horrible month sees us drop to 9th, but we're only 5 points back of league-leading Team Bath, so it's not deadly. We just need to find the net and shore up the back. Arsenal are planning on sending me Thomas Cruise on loan, and he may get a little bit of playing time in this new tactic. That's it for the first 6 months, and I call it a success. Only 5 points back of the leaders and we were up at or near the top for a while.

Whoopy D
December Update BSS Dorchester 0-1 Real London Scorers: Canvey FA Trophy 1st Round Real London 3-1 Weymouth Scorers: Mackie(x2), Brownie MoM: Mackie BSS Hampton and Richmond 4-2 Real London Scorers: Dunphy, Gundo Real London 3-0 Basingstoke Scorers: dafuge, Murray(pen), Mackie MoM: Michael Murray Things were starting to look up until a disappointing performance against Hampton, still we're sitting in 6th position and are still in the FA Trophy. A good end to the month with a resounding win over my (formerly) local team although the scoreline is quite decieving, it was only really the last 20 minutes we kicked on and got 2 of the goals. I'm not sure whether it's the injuries disrupting the side or whether we've just hit a wall but at the moment it doesn't look like Real London CSE are good enough for promotion this season and tbh I'm quite glad. The general quality of the squad is poor and I think another season in the BSS will give the players chance to improve slightly before we begin out rise up the leagues. PaulHartman71
in early December, I'm 9th. Paul Hart is the top goalscorer, and has the most MOTM's favoritism ftw!

canvey!!
I've only just seen this thread :o. It's looking good for people. I see that Canvey is roberto's vice-captain, and there is a nice scattering of goals, assists and man-of-the match awards. Featuring for the Swiss Youth teams but also getting injured quite a bit. I will start this once I finish my sign-up as I don't want to change to 9.3.0 halfway through the sign-up. Keep it up, everyone!

Could this be the reason for our inconsistency? ______________________________ What formations are you using? I'm mostly using a 4-3-2-1 with direct, quick tempo and an attacking mentality.
