Hey thanks for the great work! Is it right that Guatemala league have no foreign players limits? I'm not 100% sure about real rules, though wiki says clubs in Guatemala can register a maximum of 5 foreign players https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019–20_Liga_Nacional_de_Guatemala

Oh, sorry, I forgot to add foreign rules in some countries, and I’m willing to do it after finishing Brazil.

Hey man, just to check are the Caribbean championships now working as in the CFC etc? Also, if I only load a small selection of leagues will my save work long term?

Thanks in advance!

Hey man! The answers for both question is yes. Caribbean Championships are working as in real life and loading a small selection of leagues will be during for a long time.

Hey guys, I have a great news: BRAZILIAN FILE IS READY!!!

OBS: Don't be afraid because it has only the option to put down to 5th level, it was the kludge I did to make it playable, and don't worry, ALL divisions still work fine.

any way you can make the brazilian file verifiable on the editor so i could change the name of the competitions to the brazilian language?

You can just change the name of the competitions, verify Brazilian National Lower Division and that's it (you don't need to verify the other divisions to make them playable because Lower Division is the lowest division).

So how the teams without State Championship division quality for Brazil D4?

There is no way for them, exactly as it is in real life. That's the bad part from Brazilian league system

Weird, here it is going 100% well.

Unfortunately the only way you can do therefore is to create a .LNC file and change the names by there, it is a bit difficult but there are tutorials which can help you. After Summer update I will change competition names, hope you can enjoy the rest.

Hey @Tonao, what a work man!

I want to do a mega America save (North and South) so I wanted to know if this database is compatible with the light version of the USA DB from @Uncle_Sam?

To be honest I don't know at all if it's compatible, but I can tell you that there will no problem if Uncle Sam DB didn't create any competition or team.

Slightly off topic but I really do fancy a journeyman save around Brazil  but i find the sheer amount of states and different type of challenge quite overwhelming.  Any suggestions where to start?  I would prefer to be at a club in Serie D or even one that is only in a state championship.

I loaded it up last night and spent pretty much the whole evening just looking around at the different states, it's all pretty fascinating.

I did do a lengthy save with CSA a decade or so ago and was really surprised to find them in Serie A as i'd been battling to keep them in Serie C for the majority of the time

*edit* @Tonao , great work by the way, fantastic stuff, the effort you put in for the community is exceptional

Manaus FC. I think they might be in Serie D, though they could be among the non-league clubs. They're from the Amazonas state. It would be cool to take a club from a jungle city to the top of Brazilian football.

great suggestion, i was actually looking at the north western states last night.  I looked at Roraima state but they seem to only have 4 teams and i'm not sure how qualification to Serie D works

Try teams from North Region (Roraima, Rondônia, Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Tocantins and Acre), the football from there isn't so strong so it is a very nice try.

The best option to do a terrific saga is picking a team which only plays its State Championship, because then the challenge is bigger.

Brazil D4 First Round is off schudule.Fix

Sorry, could you explain it better please? (A picture could clarify that)

Let I try to understand what you meant to say: If the problem is that First Round is out of the schedule, it can be just a minor thing which happens due to conflicts with other competitions, it doesn’t need a fix because even in real life it can happen.

However, if you’re saying that First Round is not being played, I have my doubts because I tested it in editor for 10 years, a guy in FManager Brazil tested in-game until 2031 and there is no problem with some stage from Série D not being played.

Best regards

Also why there's no relegation in Caribbean leagues?

Some Caribbean leagues follow the USA system, no relegation between leagues, take my country by example Dominican Republic, even in RL there is a second level league (in the DB is inactive), the champion of league 2 doesn't go to league 1, and the last position doesn't get relegated.

Hi Tonao,

I don't see the CONCACAF champions league being scheduled for 2021. Is this expected?

Well, not at all. It is weird that 2020 season plays and 2021 doesn't, there is no rule quoting any change in 2021 that could cause it.

However I will give a look on that, thanks.

Check somewhere around the end of the season if the final is cleared for the next season and you get the 'draw will be set in xxx days'. If not, you might have a date conflict between the set up date and the season update date.

Hi, IRL each state has a specific number of slots in Série D, and each state choose how to fill them.

In most cases, the chosen ones are the clubs best qualified in state champs that don´t have  a spot in séries A,B or C.

Some states run regional cups in 2nd semester, which earns the finalists a série D and a Brazilian Cup spot (means more cash than D). The champion choses one, the runners-up gets the other.

But theses rules could change every year, state by state.

CSA played Série A last year, but were relegated back to B.

The clubs from North region (Tocantins, Pará, Amapá, Rondônia, Acre, Amazonas and Roraima) generally are the weakest ones in the country.

Manaus were promoted to C last year.

Any doubts about brazilian leagues i think i can help.

Don't worry, I'm Brazilian so I have a lot of sources to get all the stuff. I put the Série D and Brazilian Cup qualification system as it is actually in 2020. The 2020 changes about relegations and promotions are already there, you just need to start in 2020.

Hi Tonao,

I noticed that you have done some of the CONCACAF competitions as part of your megapack this year which is great.  I don't know if you are aware but carlito85 on here includes most if not all of the CONCACAF-CONMEBOL and AFC competitions as part of his UEFA revival update that he does. I have not checked what competitions he has updated or if they are compatible with your files yet as i am waiting for everything to be updated after the winter patch/es before starting my next save.

Many thanks for everything you do, last years update was amazing.

- The CONCACAF and CONMEBOL merger into a 51-nation structure is back this year, featuring 5 competitions for teams to compete which mirror the UEFA style. This comes complete with custom graphics.

It's different than the real rules, but it will be compatible with the countries' database, but not with the competitions ones.
