Even though we almost screwed up the silver medal because of the poor end to the season. But, Birkirkara lost their last game, and that made us take home the silver! That 0-4 loss against Floriana was horrible, I have no idea what our players did in that game... In the FA Trophy we met Valletta in the 3rd round, but we beat them! And in the end we won the whole thing! No one scored on us this year. I think we did well in the EURO Cup. Fiorentina went out in the quarter finals. Players sorted after apps. Other stuff. Look at both the first and the third place. Aidan Grima will be our next GK, as Aaron Calleja has reached max pot. And they both have 2.5* CA. Apart from that bug in one of the seasons where you only had grey players available for the promotion playoff, I don't really see a lot of bugs appearing. Can I ask for some screenshots for the best Maltese players and the best foreign players that Valletta are attracting please? In the former case, I seem to remember seeing a Leighton Darmanin scoring frequently for the national team under your tenure. And Ta' Xbiex are possibly the worst club in Malta, I can't say that strongly enough; it's amazing to see them winning the FA Trophy and competing in Europe. So well done, and long may this career last One small things that bugs me - get a club logo pack with all the clubs as the one you are using only has around 75% of the clubs, and yours' isn't one of them. Warg92 Posted December 10, 2016 Author Share Posted December 10, 2016 EURO Cup 2028 First up, Trakai from Lithuania. I thought this would be easy. But I was wrong. Two close games. They could easily have won the second leg, but with help from their defender, we made it to the next round. And there we met, ASG Astra Tripolis, a team from Greece. A much better team than Trakai. Again, we were VERY lucky! We had 4 shots on target in total over both legs and scored 3 goals. Kyle Azzopardi scored in the 90th minute in the second game and sent us to the next round! Next up was FK Partizan Beograd from Serbia. A really thought opponent, not as though as Fiorentina last year, but still, a very good team. But for once, we were the best team in one of the games. Against Astra Tripolis we were lucky in the 90th minute, now we were unlucky, as they scored in the last minute of the game... This is how close we came to beating them... This is quite awesome! We got a very good keeper this year, he goes straight into the first eleven. And a 2* CA Striker, he will go into the starting eleven as well. And the strikers that I thought were shait started to score goals! We really cemented our position as the second best team in Malta this year. But, Valletta is still out of reach. We won the Super Cup this year. That was the only time we beat Valletta this season. In the FA Trophy we made it all the way to the final. There we met Hibernians, a team we should have no problem beating. BUT, we did not... I'm happy with the performance in the EURO Cup this year. Players sorted after position. Other stuff. In the first game we should have scored at least one more goal, as the chances we created were very big. The second game was crazy! 7 goals! But we came out the winner of that one as well. Next up, Hajduk! Hajduk was the hardest team we could get in this round, and I thought we would go out here. But, we made it! All thanks to our goalkeeper! They had 14 shots on goal in total, but only scored one! And when Gordon Bonello (our keeper) scored on his penalty, then saved the next one, we won! Next up, Aris, from Greece. This was, for once, the easiest team that we could get in this round! Hajduk is a better team, so when we beat them, I thought we could beat this team as well. And we did beat team, even though it was tougher than I thought it would be. And then... Werder Bremen... If we could even score a goal in these two games I would be happy! And we did just that. We "just" had to win the last three games. We won against Mosta without a problem. Valletta beat Luqa 5-0. Then came Tarxien, we had trouble with them in both the games this season. Now they beat us 1-2. Valletta met Mosta, and beat them 6-1. Before the last game of the season, both we and Valletta had 80 points. But Valletta had of course far better goal difference. Now then, the last game, against Sliema Wanderers, a team we should beat without a problem, but NO, we played a ****** 1-1... Valletta beat... No they LOST against Floriana! 1-3! And becuase of that, our 1-1 game against Sliema made us win the league! Let's just hope we can do it next season as well. FA Trophy We got our revenge in the league. For our first game ever in Champions League, we got Maribor, a team we almost beat the first time we participated in the EURO Cup. After almost beating them the first time, I felt we should be able to beat them now. And that is what we did. When we played at home we had no trouble really, and should have scored another goal. In the second game they really pushed us, but we were very effective, for once, and won that one as well. Next up, Basel! The home game was a really close one, and 1-1 was a fair result. In Switzerland however... Wooooow... Just look at those stats. There is a reason the GK played to a 9.0 rating that day. It should have been even higher actually. But, even if he had the game of his life, we still lost. And we got knocked out of the Champions League, but in to the EURO Cup. There we met Austria Wien! We played very good, but not good enough and we lost 3-4. But we got a huge amount of money! Other from Malta out in Europe. Tarxien. Floriana. But Valletta REALLY stepped it up... Just look at this. And here's their best results. Can't really do anything about that... But, we did well in the FA Trophy at least. And in the Champions Cup/Euro Cup/BOV Super Cup. Players sorted after Apps. And other stuff. This is at least a proof that our youth academy works! Money is always good! This year the first team we met was, St. Pat's Athletic. I thought it would be much easier than this, but we made it. Next up, Sileks, from FYR Macedonia. We should have scored more goals... Then, the 7th best team in Italy, Atalanta! It surprised me that it was this close. But we still lost, so it does not really make any difference. The others. Floriana. Naxxar Lions. Valletta. Busuttil looks like a brilliant striker, hope you can hold on to him as much as possible. Also hope you can make it professional, seems like a bug that the "project" was completed but you weren't granted pro status. Haha, when I start to play I usually play almost a season at the time Busuttil is crushing our current goal scoring record, and we have a bunch of games left! I think that I found the reason for us not turning pro. Every year they elect a new president in the club, and last year I asked for us to turn pro before they chose a new one.
