Last match my striker scored 6 and had 2 assists against Chelsea. I think the game probably gets quite a bit simpler as the years go by. The AI isn't very good at selecting which players to buy. I have a couple of ridiculously good regen strikers. D - Pak Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 lol destroyed every team with this tactic. i had tried it with man city earlier and won the EPL easily but conceded heaps and won no other trophy. started a new game with man utd. just lost twice all season (liverpool 1-2 and everton 1-0, both away from home). won the EPL easily. got to the final of the league cup with my second team and lost in the final with the same second 11. won the champions league easily. reached 6th round of FA Cup with second team before losing to liverpool. Won EPL with six games to spare: Champions League final against Inter: Training: Dunc's Training 2012 Pitch Size: Max OI: None Match Prep: Very High all the time on Defensive Positioning. As you can see I had a much better defense than my time with man city. I dont know if it is due to the match prep or united just have a better defense? Team Talks: Pre Match: If Assistant advice "expect to win", then Assertively "Expect win". If Assistant advice "for the fans", then Passionately "for the fans". Those who dont react, Passionately "have faith" Half Time: If losing/winning 1-0/drawing, Aggressively "show me something else". If winning by more than 1, Calm "dont get complacent". If players react negatively, Passionately "have faith" Full Time: If lost/drawn, Aggressively "not good enough". If won, Passionately "nice victory" the game always stops a day before your match, check who is tired and replace them. i dont care if they are match fit on matchday, if they are tired one day before then i replace them. Your first 11 which you selected a day before is the one which does the match prep. Changing the team on matchday, disturbs this. I once had to play Chelsea who I trashed. Then two days later, I had Man City. Most of my team was tired or injured a day before the game, so I replaced all the tired ones. I knew I was taking a big risk against City but I was well ahead on the points. Instead of De Gea/Evra/Vidic/Ferdinand/Rafael/Marvin Martin/Fletcher/Valencia/Nani/Hernandez/Rooney, i started with De Gea/El Kaoutari/Evans/Jones/Vrsaljko/Anderson/Fletcher/Park/Young/Mbaye Niang/Berbatov. Pre game team talk : choose the "ASSERTIVE" tone and choose the last option always get positive feedback mostly green if not all by players. Half-time talk: this is based on how the score is if you are drawing or behind you give "AGGRESIVE" tone and choose the last option always get positive feedback from players mostly green if not all by players. if we are winning you give "PASSIONATE" tone and choose the last option always get positive feedback from players mostly green if not all by players. The shape and how the players become avaible when in possesion. As Aberdeen, I've played 8, won 2, drawn 2 and lost 4 and conceded 24 goals. I played it in pre-season, my assistant is happy because we're almost completely familiar with it but we're doing poorly, throwing away leads when we do have them and, seeing as we're one of the better teams in Scotland, losing to lesser teams.
