And i find this unbelievable unless i saw him put together this whole tactic and then see the game fold out...which would firstly mean i go see this guy and spend a good 5/6 hours with him, when i could be spending time perfecting my own team and tactics. But just sticking up for this guy ever so slightly, i've read many times of people who say football manager is our own game, and we choose how to play it, whether we have more fun cheating or not, going barcelona or greenock morton (a past glory, no offence to any greenock morton fans). It is our dream factory, it's in our power how the game goes...we can either spend countless hours perfecting tactics, scouting clubs etc, or we can take it easy and cheat. Such a beautiful game. Rooney had 20 shots and 13 on. I believe we had 36 shots overall. Frankly, it was unreal that we didn't put at least 10 in. So, maybe there is something that can be exploited in Chelsea's tactic. Anyone can do this... It can be proven by looking at the fitness of the players at the end of the match they should have pretty low numbers like in the 50s and 60s. That is fairly often with just one player so it'd be tough to control all eleven players if you get what I mean. What I want to know is how did all your other matches go? This can't have just been a one off match.... I'm going to stick my head out and say that I do believe him and it is truly real - he must have just benefited from a rare bug. Without spending hours on tactics, or even nececarilly fielding my strongest team I've beaten better teams by a good margin in friendlies. Nothing special, maybee 3-0, 4-0, but the point is I'd then get hammered playing these teams or ones worse than them once the competitive matches start. I'll demonstrate with a screenshot of my own. At this time I was Brentford manager, and Lazio were one of the best teams in Italy, while Bari were easily the best team in the world. Also yo can't see from the screenshot, but that run I was on without a win continued for about 20 games. If he's come up wth a great tactic, with what is clearly a good team, and then treated the match ultra-seriously then I think that this is at least possible. If Madrid were on their best game and Chelsea at their worst then the score would probably be about 6-0 at the most.
