Lower Leagues Rule
Return of the Fafeful December 31st 2009 News from Fafe 01.12.09 Carvalho's Injury Update sees Quam & Hall both on long-term injuries with him having no idea of a possible return date. 02.12.09 Vila Mea are coming to town and we are expected to walk all over them as 1-6 favourites. Boavista are rumoured to be after Radakovic already as the first rumour of someone chasing our players. It follows that an expected bid of 230k would be needed to get him away from us. Other teams interested in our players are Falkirk showing a transfer interest in Von Stronburg. 04.12.09 The Monster has ended any speculation of a move to Sevilla as he has signed a professional contract on his 17th birthday. It may be a part time deal, but it will still keep him here. 05.12.09 We have another visitor today as Torre Moncorvo come to town, last time we beat them 5:0 away from home, and we are 1-6 favourites to repeat this feat. 06.12.09 And a huge win saw us enter the record books for the biggest ever victory as we won 6:0. The media were all over it praising the attacking prowess of our squad. Radakovic has admitted to the media that he was flattered by Boavista's interest and whould be foolish to turn down an offer to move to the Panteras. 07.12.09 Lucas Schaw looks to be the first Fafe player to receive a full cap as he is called up to the New Zealand squad for the Oceania Nations Cup. 08.12.09 Carvalho has given us another injury update, he says that Quam should be back in about two weeks and I should play him against Infesta on Dec 26th. But Hall is likely to be out a little longer. Des Tiny commented to the media, that while Vrba has been a good player so far there was still some room for improvement. 09.12.09 Our next visitor will be Famalicao, they are on their way over even as we are 4-5 favourites. We need to be wary about complacency, especially given we will see them again in three days. Vrba responded to the Fafe Football Messenger by saying that he was happy enough with his form lately, and was really enjoying his football. Von Stronburg is expected to be out for about two weeks with a bruised thigh. Vrba & Burrows will probably share this time in games. Finally we had caught up to the other teams on games played with 17. This leaves us on a full 51pts, with Infesta in 2nd on 39pts & Famalicao 3rd with 32pts. We are also now past halfway with 16 games to go. One more victory will also confirm we cannot finish last as Torre Moncorvo are in 12th 47pts behind. 11.12.09 Miguel Leal has finally found some players in Central Europe, while sightseeing in Spain he has found four players, none of who are anywhere near the quality of our current crop. 12.12.09 Just three days later AD Fafe travel to Famalicao to face them once more, this time we are barely favourites at 6-4. da Silva was injured in this match, an accidental collision led to him having a gashed leg, he will be out for 3 weeks. Radakovic & Tompkins will start until then. Sporting CP's boss, Preciado was spotted at the game, and the media believe he was checking out The Monster. 13.12.09 The media are on fire with stories of Fafe's recordbreaking season, they have just posted another record win, and Radakovic has blitzed the record for goals in a game. 16.12.09 The New Zealand team were greatly disappointed in their opening game of the Oceania Nations Cup, as they drew 2:2 with Tahiti. Lucas Schaw was part of an abysmal team effort. 17.12.09 Lucas Schaw thanked Ricki Herbert for giving him his first cap, he told the media of his delight and hoped that once he returned to his club that he could show that he could be selected for his next squad again. Matt James signed himself a new contract to become a professional footballer part time for the AD Fafe club. 18.12.09 Joane's boss was heard in the media saying that he didn't want Fafe to gain promotion and he hoped his team could win to make it happen. 19.12.09 Fafe are welcoming Joane to their home ground for their next game in the league. Fafe go in as comfortable favourites at 1-6. Almeira's boss was spotted at the game today checking out Gonzalez who he is interested in signing. 20.12.09 Von Stronburg finally resumes training after his thigh strain, he was out of action for 11 days. Tavares returned from Germany with no sign of a player better than our current crop so I sent him off towards Belgium. 22.12.09 Quam returns to full training after 3 weeks with a groin injury. 24.12.09 The Monster is being targeted by Los Racinguistas, they are looking at the youngster to fill a gap in their team. Lucas Schaw represented New Zealand as they won 3:0 over Samoa, he put in a great performance to get the clean sheet and a 7.9 rating in his second international. 25.12.09 Biggs Hades & David Vrba both signed professional contracts as we had their 17th birthdays on Christmas day. 26.12.09 Fafe are travelling to Infesta for a match, for one of the first few times we were not favourites as they were expected to win as 4-5 favourites, our odds were 3-1. 27.12.09 Lucas Schaw kept another clean sheet and a 7.7 rating as New Zealand defeated the Cook Islands 3:0. They are now through to the cup proper. 29.12.09 da Silva has resumed full training after two weeks out with his shin injury. 31.12.09 Lucas Schaw signs a professional deal with Fafe on his 17th birthday, he is delighted to be at the club he loves. The Matches 3DB: Fafe vs Vila Mea 3:0 Vrba (pen37), da Silva (42), Hurst (54) MoM: Hurst Player Stats Well we completely dominated the start of the game, a lot of good crosses from Burrows & James found the strikers, but neither Tompkins or da Silva could convert, in the end Zitman was taken down in the box & David Vrba stepped up to score a penalty. This was his first ever goal for Fafe. Just five minutes later James stopped the ball from going out right in the corner & fired it into the box, da Silva didn't miss this time as he headed it home. After half time Liam Hurst made it three as Zitman fed him a centre pass and he put it home. 3DB: Fafe vs Torre Moncorvo 6:0 Radakovic (6), Tompkins (23,32,pen40), Millar (45+1), da Silva (85) MoM: Tompkins Player Stats Dee'e fed a great ball to Gonzalez in the first minute, and it looked like he had put us ahead, but the Asst Ref called it back for offside. The Fafe fans let him have it booing loudly. After six minutes it looked like Jason Demir had scored his first ever goal, but after looking at it closely the goal was awarded to Radakovic who had the ball deflect off his chest on its way to the net. The crowd celebrated, but Demir must be gutted. One of only three outfield players yet to score. Tompkins then scored a stunning 30 yarder off a pass from Radakovic for his tenth goal of the season. Within ten minutes Tompkins had added another as a great move through the middle from Demir to Radakovic to Gonzalez was ended with a cross to Tompkins who punched the ball straight past the keeper. Tompkins was then taken down in the box, and stepped to the penalty spot to go for his hattrick, he came forward and...scored as the crowd go wild around the stadium. We also had Hades thinking he had scored his first goal for Fafe, but it took a deflection from Millar on the line and Ali got another. The second half saw us applying pressure, but never having the touch at the end, until a move straight up the middle ended with da Silva slotting home his twelveth goal. A great save by Schaw on 88 minutes meant he would keep his clean sheet. 3DB: Fafe vs Famalicao 5:0 da Silva (2,53,65), Radakovic (19), Monasterio (87) MoM: da Silva Player Stats From the kick-off Gonzalez plays a long ball up the field to da Silva who is running onto it to the right of the net, he puts it across the mouth and into the left corner. The game went back and forward a little after this, but a header from da Silva put Radakovic free and he completed a great one-on-one move on the keeper to score his tenth goal of the season. Late in the first half da Silva had another great chance, but he put it off the post and it was caught by the keeper. Zitman & Hurst combined with some great passing early in the second half, which resulted in a long pass to da Silva, as he advanced on the keeper he slipped to the left and shot to the right. da Silva then completed the hattrick on a through ball from Zitman, a complete game from da Silva. At the 87 minute mark we were playing with 10 men as Von Stronburg was receiving treatment from the Physio, but one of their defenders chopped da Silva, The Monster stepped up and netted the penalty for his first goal for Fafe. 3DB: Famalicao vs Fafe 0:7 Holt (15), Radakovic (25,30,42,46,88), OG (28) MoM: Radakovic Player Stats Just five minutes into the game and da Silva goes down, Radakovic is brought on to replace him. Following a corner, we had a lot of players in the box, the ball bobbled around until Millar tapped the ball to Holt who tapped it into the net. After letting them into the game, we came back with some good moves, Tompkins was through one-on-one, but his shot was saved by the keeper, but he couldn't stop the second as Radakovic scored on the rebound. A shot from Gonzalez was then deflected by a defender, but it still ended up in the net. Liam Hurst then continued a huge scoring streak as he fed the ball through to Radakovic infront of the net and he added his second. A great centering ball from James sets Radakovic into a spin as he tries to lose his defender, as he turns back to face the goal he lets loose a bullet which sinks straight into the net for his hattrick. Radakovic took a knock late in the half, but that didn't stop him adding his fourth goal of the game only 15 seconds into the second half. Radakovic then made it five as he received the ball at the top of the box and slotted it home. A Stellar performance from the young Serbian. 3DB: Fafe vs Joane 2:0 Radakovic (22), Vrba (pen41) MoM: Radakovic Player Stats Radakovic looked to be carrying on from where he left off as a ball from Tompkins set up the first goal of the game. We dominated the rest of the first half, but it seemed that the opposition were fired up as they kept seeming to be able to stop us at the edge of the box, then one of them chopped Radakovic in the box and up stepped Vrba to score from the spot. The second half was uneventful as we just restrained them and couldn't put together any moves ourselves. 3DB: Infesta vs Fafe 2:1 Radakovic (69) Player Stats A bad call by the asst ref saw us go down 1 nil as a player in an offside position scored to give them the lead. Cristiano conceding his first goal in 730 mins of football. The rest of the first half was back and forward, but I fired up at halftime hoping to make a difference. The boys went back out with a fire in their belly, but shot after shot was denied by their keeper, until Gonzalez fed a cross to Radakovic who slotted another goal home. Two minutes later he nearly got a second, but he struck the crossbar. Cristiano appeared to be making up for allowing the first goal, but he was stationery as they scored their second. So with 7 mins on the clock we needed another to take a point. It was not to be and Fafe took their first loss of the season. The Month This month saw a great start overshadowed by the final match of the month where we dropped our winning streak and had to settle for losing to our biggest rivals for the title. The player of the month title should really go to Radakovic for 9 goals in the month, but I have to credit the provider all month long, Liam Hurst is our player of the month. Squad Stats League Table Finances Player of the Month History August 09: Aleksander Radakovic (ST) September 09: Frank Fontaine (AM/DMC) October 09: Jesuzinho da Silva (AM/FC) November 09: Santiago Gonzalez (MR) December 09: Liam Hurst (MC)

Lower Leagues Rule
Return of the Fafeful January 31st 2010 News from Fafe 02.01.10 Leixoes are said to be among the favourites chasing Tyler Burrows, the transfer fee is rumoured to be about 190k, Des Tiny has told them to keep their filthy mitts to themselves. In a transfer update, Tiny has asked for all rumours to come to him and the following players appear to be being chased: Burrows (Leixoes & Belenenses), Dee'e (Estoril), Demir (Bolton, Burnley, Stoke & Wolves), Hades (Bolton), Holt (Bolton), Hurst (Bolton & Burnley), James (Bolton), Millar (Bolton), The Monster (Marbella & Racing), Radakovic (Boavista), Schaw (Trofense & Varzim), Tompkins (Bolton), Von Stronburg (APEOL, Bolton & Falkirk), & Vrba (Vit Setubal, Estoril & Leixoes). So as you can see Bolton are on the hunt with eight of our players on our radar, it could be an interesting window if the boss gets involved. Following the interest in Burrows he got a robust challenge in training and will be out for 8 to 12 days with a Bruised Jaw. Rumour around the club is that Radakovic got fed up with him talking up Leixoes and punched him out. No sources will confirm this. 03.01.10 Boavista have admitted they are interested in Radakovic to the media, and there is talk of an 11 million Euro transfer fee. Tiny has told them to get real and hunt their own prospects. Trofense have also gone to the media with their love of New Zealand Goalkeeper Schaw, rumour is that Fafe would require 11.5 million plus, and this seems to be a stumbling block. 05.01.10 Schaw makes another stunning play as New Zealand wipe the floor with Vanuatu 5 nil in the Oceania Nations Cup. Kevin Rufer (son of Wynton) made his debut in this match with 2 goals. 06.01.10 Burrows, Radakovic & Schaw have all admitted they would jump at the chance of playing for higher reputation clubs. This has made Des Tiny concerned for the future of his stars. 09.01.10 Today we have Leca coming to town, with about 600 fans expected the club are looking forward to a big margin as they go in 1-2 favourites. 11.01.10 da Silva has added himself to Fafe's wanted list as he is now being chased by Vit. Guimaraes & Feirense. Two mid-table Liga Sagres sides are chasing the Striker. Lucas Schaw represented New Zealand once more, this time he held Tahiti to another clean sheet as they won 2:0. This leaves NZ clear at the top of the group stage with only 6 games remaining (NZ has 2 more to play: Fiji & Solomons). 12.01.10 Anadia fans are on their way to Fafe for a huge Cup match-up, our fans are confident and have been out in the streets leading up to the game. We are being touted as 4-6 favourites for this one, thats a 60% win rate. Following the match, da Silva reported that it was a lot more serious than previously thought and he will be out for 2-3 weeks with a damaged elbow. Strikers are a little thin on the park now. 13.01.10 Leixoes have formally enquired how much we would like for Fontaine, I replied with an unlikely 5.5M. Lucas Schaw was pulling on his All Whites jersey once more as they faced Fiji, and another clean sheet saw them win 3:0. They have now confirmed their qualification for the Final. The Taca de Terceira Quarterfinal draw was held and it sees us facing 3rd Division F side Farense. Once more we will be welcoming the crowds, as we get another home draw. The match will be on February 16th. 14.01.10 Leixoes have withdrawn their offer for Fontaine and are now looking elsewhere. 15.01.10 Schaw and his New Zealand side completed the group stage with a convincing 2:1 win over the Solomon Islands to advance to the Oceania Nations Cup Final. Their opponent in the final is yet to be decided, but having beaten them all I don't think the Kiwis are worried. Lucas Schaw has returned to his club side, but he will not be fit for our next match. 16.01.10 We are travelling to Oliveirense for our next league game as 1-3 favourites, this is going to be a big game for the club. With this being the 22nd game we will have completed the first Home & Away section of the draw, after this we play our third match-ups against the sides in our division. Almeria are now chasing Gonzalez and Tiny has told them that the Turk is not for sale. Liam Hurst will actually be out, as after the game his injury was diagnosed as a Bruised Rib and he will miss 9-12 days. Racing's Manager was at the game to watch The Monster, while Portimonense was there checking out Cristiano. Fafe now lead the table on 63pts, Infesta are second on 54pts, third is Rebordosa with 38, Famalicao 37, Leca 35, Serzedelo 34, & Amarante 33 are the others in contention for promotion. 21.01.10 Now Arsene Wenger is targetting Jason Demir as a new aquisition for his Arsenal squad, the first player to be targetted by a Top 4 club from any nation. 23.01.10 Just two days later The Monster is being targetted by Porto, this would be a huge signing for the player, but he is unlikely to want to leave his favourite club. 27.01.10 Now Porto are after Fontaine as well, Tiny has said NO WAY, Porto said WAY, Tiny replied NO WAY! Portimonense then made an offer of a free transfer for Cristiano and they were told where to get off. Belenenses are also after Fafe players as they chase Vrba's signature. 28.01.10 da Silva has resumed full training for the club, hopefully he can return to action soon. 29.01.10 Trofense have also offered a free transfer of Cristiano & Fafe have again rejected the bid, asking that people are more serious with the amount they offer. 30.01.10 In their last match of January Fafe will travel to Amarante and hope to knock them off to confirm a top half finish for the club. We go into the match as 1-3 favourites having previously defeated them 2:0 & 4:0. Varzim's boss was spotted in the crowd, rumour is he was looking over Lucas Schaw. The Matches 3DB: Fafe vs Leca 1:0 Radakovic (1) MoM: Hurst Player Stats With a great start to the game from the kick-off, we played the ball around then up the middle to Radakovic who finished in style from the edge of the box inside a minute. We had a few more chances, Quam, Radakovic, da Silva & Hurst all putting shots close to the goal, stopped by good saves or off the woodwork. da Silva also picked up a first half yellow for diving. The second half saw few attempts, but none of our players did well. Fontaine received a yellow card in the dying minutes, but the half was uneventful. We did always restrict their chances, but we need to finish ours to win the big games. TDT: Fafe vs Anadia 3:1 Tompkins (2,9), da Silva (13) MoM: Tompkins Player Stats A run from halfway by da Silva saw a cross to Tompkins who headed home beating their defender in the air for the lead. da Silva was the provider a second time as he passed the ball to a running Tompkins in the box, he hit the ball hard across the front and into the far corner, 2 nil up inside ten minutes leaves a happy Tiny. In a reversal of roles, we had Tompkins stop the ball from going out for a goal kick, he passed back to da Silva who sunk an easy shot from infront. After 23 minutes da Silva picked up a serious knock and with one striker already injured decided discretion was the better part of Valour and pulled him for Radakovic. While awaiting the substitution Tiny had to put his head into his hands as his team conceded a goal. Millar missed his tackle, they shot and Cristiano dived and missed. With the opposition on all out attack our defense played a long ball forward under pressure, Tompkins was one-on-one with the Keeper, but it was saved as he went for his hattrick. With three more shots from Tompkins after this one, he kept miffing the chances, it was looking like he would not complete the hattrick. As the whistle blew he knew he had had his chance and not taken it. 3DB: Oliveirense vs Fafe 0:3 Radakovic (4,28,pen53) MoM: Radakovic Player Stats Tompkins, James & Radakovic were just circling the ball around a couple of defenders, when the Serbian turned and slammed the ball from 25 yards straight into the net for Fafe's first goal. Radakovic managed to add his second after a great ball from Hurst found Tompkins, who fed it scross to see Radakovic through the defense. This was his 20th goal of the season as he now leads the club in goals. Half time saw Hurst replaced by Demir as he was carrying a knock and Tiny did not want another serious injury. After 6 minutes Radakovic was fighting for the ball in the box and was elbowed from behind, calmly he stepped up to the spot for his hattrick........And scored, his 21st goal, and Fafe's 75th league goal of the season in 22 games. Ten minutes later there was another penalty as Smith tried disrupting the wall on a free-kick and someone shoved him. Zitman stepped up, but he shot it straight at the keeper, saved for our first missed penalty. 3DB: Amarante vs Fafe 1:1 Quam (54) MoM: Quam Player Stats The opposition have come out in a 4-1-4-1 (With 4 Defs, a DM, 4 Mids & a ST) so are clearly going to just defend and hope to keep the score down against our normal 4-4-2. With them actually controlling the first fifteen minutes of the game, it was no surprise to see Dee'e take down a player in the box and give away a penalty. They scored past Schaw to take the lead early. Our midfield then took control of the game, but we still had not even registered a shot on goal at half time, Des Tiny ripped them up at halftime and hoped he would see them through. It seemed to pay off as 8 minutes into the half a throw in was crossed by Radakovic to Quam, who calmly headed the ball into the net. Tompkins hit the post after 82 minutes, and the ball was cleared, our chances were not being taken and we couldn't put our midfield dominance on the board. From here the game was stifled into a 1:1 draw, our first draw of the season to leave us at 21-1-1 with 10 games remaining. The Month This month saw a lot of action from our players with a 3-1-0 record it was slightly better than December, but we were also disappointing in not finishing off Amarante, we are now all but confirmed as a top 5 team, Two teams trail us by 30 points with 10 games left, but Infesta are only 7 points back. Player of the Month has to go to Aleksander Radakovic this month, with 4 goals & an assist he showed why he is our top goalscorer with 21 goals in 21 appearances this season. Squad Stats League Table Finances League Stats Player of the Month History August 09: Aleksander Radakovic (ST) September 09: Frank Fontaine (AM/DMC) October 09: Jesuzinho da Silva (AM/FC) November 09: Santiago Gonzalez (MR) December 09: Liam Hurst (MC) January 10: Aleksander Radakovic (ST) Well we have reached the end of another month, a pretty good month for Fafe as the players rack up the goals and Schaw plays very well for New Zealand in the Oceania Nations Cup. We are starting to see some offers come in for our players, and we have good looking bunch performing across the park. If there are any other screenshots or requests people have just post them and I will see what I can do. I also ask that if you enjoy my thread (or hate it) Please give it a rating. Escath
Lucas Schaw starring for New Zealand. Other managers showing just how much Cristiano is valued outside the club with their offers. Only player to have less than 7 for their average rating. What more needs to be said?
Lower Leagues Rule
Return of the Fafeful February 28th 2010 News from Fafe 06.02.10 The early news for this month was limited, but we have Rebordosa coming to town in a match-up that will make a difference to both teams chances in the league. A bumper crowd of over 700 is expected for this match in which the home team are comfortable 1-6 favourites. Sporting's Boss was spotted at the game and he appeared to be watching The Monster more as the game progressed. 16.02.10 It seems to be a very quiet month for Fafe, as the next important news item is that Farense are coming to town. Fafe go in as the underdogs against the team that have already confirmed a playoff spot in 3rd Division Serie F, they are 24 points clear of 2nd with 9 games remaining. Fafe meantime need to win their next league game to confirm their playoff spot. Estoril's boss was seen at the game, and he had a special eye out for Duco Zitman. 17.02.10 The semi-final sees us travelling to Sanjoanense who are currently leading the 3rd Division Serie C. The other match-up pits Torrense (2nd 3DE) against Famalicao (3rd 3DB). 20.02.10 Fafe travel to Vila Mea today in an attempt to confirm a minimum of a playoff spot in the 3DB, a win will confirm them in the top 3 come end of the season. They go in as 3-1 favourites, both previous meetings have been 3:0 victories. And now the worst place that Fafe can finish is 2nd, and with 8 games to go they are 12pts ahead of Infesta. 21.02.10 "Terrific Tompkins" the papers lead with. (Reason for this is in the match update) Following this he is feeling the media pressure... Only the Goalies are now yet to score a goal. 23.02.10 Carvalho expects William Hall to finally be back against Torre Moncorvo on March 13th. A draw from Infesta means that a victory tomorrow will put Fafe 14pts clear at the top of the league with 7 games left. 24.02.10 Fafe are once more expecting a record crowd as promotion contenders Serzedelo come to town, Fafe are comfortable favourites at 1-6, this coming on the back of 3:0 & 2:0 victories in their past meetings. The Matches 3DB: Fafe vs Rebordosa 5:0 da Silva (11), Demir (15), Tompkins (37,57,86) MoM: Tompkins Player Stats It took 10 minutes for the opposition defence to crack, but they left a gapping hole for da Silva to run into and he took his chance to grab a goal in his return to the side. Demir then followed up his assist on the opening goal with his first goal of the season as he cracked a curving shot in from 35 yards out. Demir continued his involvement as he fed Tompkins to open his scoring for the game. It looks like the Vice-Captain is finally coming into his form. The second half had a massive start as the ball went back and forward to both ends, but da Silva & Tompkins had the crowd on their feet as da Silva got free, took his shot, saved by the keeper, but Tompkins pounced on the rebound and made it count. The Monster played a long ball up field as the clock started to countdown, the opposition goalie came out of the box to play it, but it bobbled away from him and he never recovered as Tompkins came through to finish his hattrick into the empty net. TDT: Fafe vs Farense 5:0 James (23), Radakovic (31), da Silva (33,71), Dee'e (63) MoM: da Silva Player Stats The first half was very tight, both teams had opportunities, we managed to hold the lead in possession, but only just as they tried to run over us. A mistake by their left back finally let us in as da Silva stole the ball and put it across the box, James was on the far post and headed it home before falling in a heap. da Silva made another perfect tackle as he dispossessed one of their players and fed the ball back to our midfield, Zitman then played the ball up to Radakovic who scored our second. Then a great series of passes led to da Silva and he contributed again, this time slotting home a goal for a 3 nil lead before halftime. After halftime and a very pleased Des Tiny walked from the dressing room, we saw Fafe dominate the ball and set up a few great plays, Whoopy Dee'e extended the lead when he shot it in from 25 yards to a standing ovation from the crowd. Radakovic & da Silva then combined to clinch the victory with a stunning 5th goal. 3DB: Vila Mea vs Fafe 1:4 Hades (7), Tompkins (13,17), Gonzalez (52) MoM: Tompkins Player Stats Quam scored within the first minute of the game, but it was called back for an offside, hopefully this was a sign of things to come. A series of corners for Fafe was always going to spell G.O.A.L, but it was the surprise of the night when Biggs Hades was the one to get it. A corner came in from Hurst, it was headed by Hades, punched by the keeper, cleared by a defender straight into Hades and it dropped to his feet so he hit it home, as well as being Hades first it was Fafe's 100th goal of the season. Radakovic managed to pick up an assist with a great through ball to Tompkins who slotted it into the net perfectly. Tompkins got his second on a rebound, another through ball from Radakovic saw him free, the keeper stopped his first, but the second shot was into the net. After 26 minutes we were set to play against 10 men as their last man chopped Radakovic without the ball chasing a through ball from the defense. We just held them for the rest of the half, but maybe this was a mistake as they scored straight after half time, poor defending and abysmal goalkeeping let them in. It seems they were sleeping after not seeing the ball for the first half. After that, Tompkins stepped up, but failed at the last, then Radakovic had a go, then he fed another ball to Gonzalez who slotted it home for our 4th goal. The next ten minutes saw us peppering their goal with shots, Gonzalez hit the woodwork twice, Radakovic put a couple over, Tompkins missed another chance at his Hattrick. 3DB: Fafe vs Serzedelo 2:2 Tompkins (25), Quam (53) MoM: Tompkins Player Stats It took 25 minutes, but Tompkins shouldn't be feeling the pressure anymore. The Serzedelo keeper made the biggest blunder of his career as he charged out to meet da Silva, who stopped and crossed to an open Tompkins, and he couldn't miss the empty net. The game got tight just 3 minutes later as they scored from a corner. I told Tompkins & Fontaine at halftime that they could make the difference here, it seemed to pay off as Tompkins crossed for Quam to add a goal. In the 77th minute Zitman committed a foul in the box and let them score from a penalty. The Monster very nearly scored in injury time, but it all ended as a draw. The Month Well a month that started with three great wins ended disappointingly for the third month in a row. We need to stop the slide and the boys need to get back on top comfortably. I have to say I was delighted to finally see Joe Tompkins come out and perform in this month, and for his efforts he has been awarded the Player of the Month award. I will most likely finish the season at some point tomorrow and hopefully it ends with promotion.

Escath
Ricki needs to be fired. Starring for NZ all through the OFC Nations Cup and not picking him for the final. How can you do that to a goalkeeper? At least Schaw is proving his decision wrong for Fafe. Saving a penalty, too. Paston's not the only one who can do that. Lower Leagues Rule
Is it me or is Radakovic better coming off the bench It does seem that he scores a lot off the bench as an impact player, but he was still our 2nd top goalscorer all season long. Only Tompkins beat him with 28, he also was our top Assists man. I have started on the first end of season update, but it will be a couple of hours as I compile all the data and get it ready to go. I hope you all like the final product once you see it.
