  1. I currently have the following loaded down to the lowest leagues. England Germany Spain Brazil Argentina Belgium Denmark Iceland Sweden Norway Scotland
  2. What Nations do people have loaded and what team are you managing?
  3. Brighton. Great stadium, decent squad, very possible to get promotion first season. After promotion i was handed 20M to spend.
  4. Will take a look at them. Thanks.
  5. Nation: Anywhere except England or Spain Division: Not fussed European Competition: Not fussed Media Prediction: Not fussed Board Expectation(s): Not fussed Transfer Budget: As much as possible Wage Budget: As much as possible Finances: Good. Manageable debt is fine. Other: Ok so i am not entirely fussed about where i go, as long as they have money to invest as i am looking for a club which i can really put my own stamp on.
  6. Great thread. Picking up a couple of bargains for my Newcastle save.
  7. Starting a Newcastle save, have a fair idea who will be going out but will base my incomings on money available. Will give an update in January with regards to performances etc.
  8. Was given 19M to spend but considering pretty much the majority of the squad need replacing i am facing a very tall order.
  9. Following on from my last post i can now confirm Brighton are now a PREMIER LEAGUE club!!! I didn't realise that the top 4 were all playing each other. Reading beat Burnley 2-1 despite being down to 10 men and due to us drawing 0-0 we missed out on the title by a single point. Promotion was certainly not on my mind at the start of the season and with a semi final appearance to go alongside promotion this season has exceeded all expectations i ever had. Now to get together a squad capable of survival as the one i have i fear will be too poor in quality.
  10. Sorry guys for not updating for a while as having a few personal things needing sorting out and taking up alot of time. Following on from my QF victory over Arsenal i then drew the first leg of the semi final versus Man United 1-1 at home. The away leg went just as i expectedand we got battered 5-0. Certainly not going to be getting upset about getting Brighton to the semis of the COC!! As for the league, i was in a battle with Burnley for the top spot but then had a wobble and found myself in 4th position. After calling a team meeting things have picked up and i am now heading into the final weekend top of the league on 83 points. In fact the top 4 are seperated by 2 points so this final weekend could be a real rollercoaster as i am travelling away from home to face Nottingham Forest who are currently in 3rd place. My FA Cup campaign ended in the 4th round with a 1-0 defeat away to Fulham so again no complaints from me. Anyway i will update once i get this nerve wrecking final game over with.
  11. Absolutely loving my save with Brighton so far. Just coming up to Christmas in the first season and sitting 4 points clear of second and 6 ahead of third, but the biggest shock is i have just beaten Arsenal away to set up a semi final match against Manchester United. I am unbeaten in 9 matches and the board have already offered me a new contract.
  12. Thanks Jogo. I am a season ticket holder at Brighton so obviously have a huge man crush on the man from Argentina I won't be rushing to get promoted as the foundations really are not there to compete at that level just yet.
  13. Looking at starting a Brighton save soon. Aim is to build on what Poyet created and hopefully go one step further and reach the promise land within a couple of seasons.
  14. Started a Manchester United save as felt it would be a decent challenge with trying to win back the title from City. Decided straight away that i was going to have a bit of an overhaul of the squad, which will no doubt upset some of you, but i felt new and younger talent would be the way forward. Here are my transfers so far. INS Davide Santon came in from Newcastle for £16.25M Radja Nainggolan came in from Calgliari for £12.25M Kyriakos Papadopoulous came from Schalke for £16.25M Lars Bender came in from Leverkuson for £18M Kevin Strootman came in from PSV for £13.75M Moritz Leitner came in from Dortmund for £13.25M TOTAL £90m And now the players who have moved on. OUTS Rio Ferdinand went to Fulham for £3.3M plus i need to pay some of his wages for a year Michael Carrick went to Arsenal for £12.25M Ashley Young went to Arsenal for £17.5M Patrice Evra went to PSG for £11.25M Antonio Valencia went to Tottenham for £17.5M Anderson went to Juventus for £11M Ben Amos went to Forest for £1.4M TOTAL £74M I decided very early that i was going to play a narrow formation and have set up a tactic that i hope will bring me success. ---------------------------------------De Gea------------------------------------------- Rafael----------------------Vidic-------------------Papadopoulous---------------------Santon --------------------------------------Bender------------------------------------------------ -----------------Strootman-------------Nainggolan-------------Leitner----------------------- --------------------------------------Rooney------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------RVP-------------------------------------------------- I drew my opening match at home to City 1-1 with both teams having penalties saved in the second half. Once the team gels and gets comfortable with the formation i am hoping for a very successful time at the club. Anyways thats my start to my new career at Manchester United. If anyone has any advice as to any youth players to give time to then i would love to hear it. Also if anyone has anything to say about my transfers (good or bad) then that would also be very much appreciated. Thanks.
