This has been asked a load of times before so you'll probably get told off by a few people. My current average age in 2018 is 23.

I didn't have time to work out my average, but my total combined playing staff age is 1,032 years old.

Just click information when you are on the team screen and it tells you the average.

My Hibernian squad has an average age of 21. My Stornoway (a club I invented and chucked into Scottish Division 3) squad has an average age of 16.

21, apparently. Considering these are mostly players I've brought up from young perhaps it's not so surprising - these youngsters were as good as the trash I inherited.

    23.

I think nearly every FM manager invests heavily in youth development - I only have one reserve over 20 and he's the player-coach. A more meaningful question might be what is the average age of your first team squad or first-choice starting XI.

It's funny, I find it a lot more useful to buy players at the age of 24-25 who looked like hotshots earlier in the game but never broke into other clubs' first teams.

They tend to perform better and are much, much cheaper.

    23.

Although largely that high due to 3 players being over 30, (32, 33, 34) - and everyone else is under 25.
