Mike7077
Pretty much. My old one was dying a death so I did kinda need a new one but I suppose it could have just been tidied up. FM09 is what made me decide to splash out on a new one. Money well spent, though.
Tyler
Macbook I also bought if for when I go to university later this year, but mostly for FM.
outlaw640
Yeah sort of as well. My old pc was knackered so I got a Dell XPS for £600. I agree with Mike, it was money well spent as both Battlefield 2 and FM09 run so smooth now, compared to before.
Frankie 7
I did just before FM09 was fully released. I purchased a Samsung R700 for £600.00 which has: Pentium 2 duo core processor 2GHz 4GB Ram NVIDIA G-Force 8600m GT 17 Inch Screen
Rossini
Fortunately I already had a laptop but my mate was only initially getting 2d on his main computer with the graphics card. He hated the fact I was getting 3d matches and he wasn't so he splashed out on a new laptop just to be able to view the matches in 3d lol!
Les Girondins
I upgraded my CPU from a perfectly functional 4000+ to a 6000+ purely to make FM 09 run faster than a constipated hog.

sleepwalkingpolarbear
Alienware is a branch off from dell who sell overpriced gear and slap an alien logo on the side. Basicly fools rich people who dont know anything about computers. Ie Putting an 'Extreme' version of an intel processor in a laptop/pc at stock speeds, I mean wtf? fatboyjohnmulhern
Imagine how expensive it is for the testing team to buy new laptops every time a new release comes out becauese of these power hungry new editions!!!
bieritarier
I upgraded my CPU from a perfectly functional 4000+ to a 6000+ purely to make FM 09 run faster than a constipated hog. That's what I'm about to do.. the C2D E6750 sucks when you have all the first divisions of every league and the 2nd/3rd divisions of the big 5 leagues playable lol Wanna splash out on a new graphics card anyways (mainly because of Fallout 3 and GTA 4) so why not get a new MB and CPU ey? lol
