gunarrrrrrr
Will the loan move to Milan be in the full game? I mean since it's done but the details aren't really figured it, or the sponsorships or whatever.. it's not official as you know but everyone including beckham has confirmed it, just not the length and extent of it.. So is it going to be in the full game?
VonBlade
As it isn't confirmed yet, and the game has already gone (hmm, not quite gold, Silver?) to Sega, then extremely unlikely.

calvindb7
that was 6 YEARS AGO, nobody cares about that anymore. ohh good so lets forget pele maradono brazilian ronaldo they were stars long time ago ..so we can just forget them now??
saulty2805
we haven't forgotten Beckham, we just think hes "below average" now, do you still think Pele, Maradona and Big Ronaldo are good?
weeeman27bob
Beckham is coming to then end of his career. He fell from his prime a while ago, but was still rated highly. However when he was at his prime, he was the best dead-ball specialist in the world, who also had an amazing passing ability, and was a good player. He was also the most marketable player on the planet. Happy?
weeeman27bob
we haven't forgotten Beckham, we just think hes "below average" now, do you still think Pele, Maradona and Big Ronaldo are good? I'm sure Pele and Maradona could "skill" their way round a defender ( not of the top class though) Ronaldo could just sit on them.
PaulHartman71
ohh good so lets forget pele maradono brazilian ronaldo they were stars long time ago ..so we can just forget them now?? i'm not saying that, what i'm saying is, Beckham isn't that good anymore, and saying 'he did this 6 years ago' isn't a good enough excuse to think he's one of the best in the world anymore. Evertonbloke
Hes not "below average" though is he! Be serious he is probably worse now than he has even been since his professional career started but he would still walk into any mid table prem team, and do a good job for a team hoping for Uefa qualification. I wouldnt mind if he signed for us, although I'd be annoyed if he started every game!
calvindb7
ok so i got a little bit hyped up sry guys but if he is not good ..why does capello keeps choosing him?come on guys we all know capello is a world class manager and knows what hes doing.. he even sorted out the milan deal so he can keep on playing

DMcLarkey
you didnt say that when he saved us from going out of the world cup vs grecce..some of you people are stupid he is a great sportsmanship and always gives his best...why all this hate He didn't single handedly save us going out for a number of reasons: 1) there were 11 (+) other players on the pitch 2) how many free kicks did he miss prior to scoring in the last minute 3) there would have still been a route to qualify via the play-offs Beckham is a spent force, and the jokey manner in which he is breaking England legends caps record by playing 8 minutes here, 5 minutes there, shows the true nature of the man. He has been selfish and not given the chance for SWP, Bentley and Lennon to make their mark and show their true potential. Yes they probably would have wasted their chances but that's really not the point, he selfishly played while not fit, he lied to staff, management and fans. A joke player who has achieved very little, even Phil Neville and Nicky Butt won Premiership and Champions League medals. You may also point to a La Liga medal, but the only thing Real every won during Beckham's period there was done so in the last game, when he was taken off and replaced by Robinho who went on to win the game and therefore the title, before that Real were very very poor indeed. As a captain he was shambolic. A motivator of men? A tactical genius who could identify where things were going wrong? No and No. He realised the writing was on the wall when Sven was leaving and did the decent thing, and was only recalled by the worst England manager in living memory had another serious lapse in judgement in looking back and not looking forward. His joke appearance at the Olympics - he has neither represented Great Britain, nor will he, in this respect, was down to commercial pressures and PR hype as being the most famous Britain besides the Queen and Tony Blair - a fact that probably shames us all. In fact all three individuals shame us, for the show that we are a backward nation willing to tolerate non-democratic systems, illegal wars, and pathetic self-obsessed individuals who only care for image and money. Capello has decided to continue Beckham's run, not I feel for footballing reasons, but again for commercial reasons. I hope when he is represented in the game that his pace and acceleration are truly reflected less than 10 for both. And his influence rather than being 18/20 is more appropriately tuned to being 12 at best.
Wayne\'o
hmm beckham debate. its like marmite. this is my opinion. Beckham is still the best crosser in the world, like all players as they age, you do lose some pace. not just in the legs but mind also. If beckham is choosing Italy, i think it's beacsue they play a very slow tempo. this will help an older player who's legs are going.. Despite his age beckham is a class player to bring on. SCIAG
Beckham is still a very good player. Anyone who denies that is blind.
ET-Taylor
He is still a good player why is he still on the fringe of the England team if he was awful he would't be. Capello picks players on how good they are as team not on Popularity or individual skill. unlike previous managers naming no names McClaren Erickson hmm
weeeman27bob
He didn't single handedly save us going out for a number of reasons:1) there were 11 (+) other players on the pitch Beckham is a spent force, and the jokey manner in which he is breaking England legends caps record by playing 8 minutes here, 5 minutes there, shows the true nature of the man. He has been selfish and not given the chance for SWP, Bentley and Lennon to make their mark and show their true potential. Firstly (unless you are counting the Ref) there would have only ben 10 other players on the pitch:D Secondly, I presume your suggesting that he should retire himself from International duty. Beckham isn't picking the team, he's being picked because Capello wants him. If I were in his position, I wouldn't refuse an opportunity top play for the national team. So he's not really being selfish is he? Yes his retirement would have given other people a chance, but they aren't better than him, they are around the same level. saulty2805
well, technically there would be 21 other players on the pitch
DMcLarkey
Yeah I should have said 10+, although the fact that Sven was in charge for that game means it almost a certainty that all three subs were used. Also coming on for less than 10 minutes as Beckham is doing isn't doing England any real great favours, we are already winning so there's little point, and it doesn't give the other younger squad members a chance. He will also probably deprive a World Cup place for someone in 2010, which would be a real shame, as it is a vital learning experience. The sad fact being that the only use Beckham will get out of it is about 10 minutes of pitch time per game max, millions in extra commercial endorsements and a chapter for the 12th or 13th version of his Autobiography. I think Walcott will be a far better player for England than Beckham ever could hope to be. The real shame is that I think SWP could have made the right-midfield slot his own had Beckham not stepped back into the fold.
weeeman27bob
well, technically there would be 21 other players on the pitch Yeah but the Greece weren't trying to let England win, were they

Anyway he did say He didn't single handedly save us going out for a number of reasons:1) there were 11 (+) other players on the pitch Meaning that the greek players meant nothing towards this statement.
