EddieGray11
Wasn't too sure whether to post it, but for those of us who want to take the step back in time, well, yeah, we wanna play the old databases. Who's interested?
silva_gunner
Yep. Would be good - lot of effort though. I'd offer to help but i know nothing about the period.
CaptainPlanet
Any reason for that specific year?
EddieGray11
CP - because it's the year Leeds win the title, Manchester United get relegated - it's a perfect year. Plus, some of the best football to the day was played by numerous clubs in that season. Leeds and Liverpool really turned it up that year.
gazwefc
is this something you have already made or that you are going to make?

Don't know much about the era though.
taylorsmen
I would 100% love a database from the 70's.
Geronimo360
Yes please mate, put it up im sure loads of people would be interested. Its 20 years exactly before I was born so it would be nice to see what was going on around that period.

Raware
I'd be interested in it for sure! The only down side for me is, as a Forest fan, this was Derby's most successful era so i'd have to endure watching them lift the title again!
Some Guy!
Next season's Derby's season under Dave McKay. Not the worst time to make a database for. Legends like Hector, Roy Mac, Colin Todd and such!
Raware
Next season's Derby's season under Dave McKay. Not the worst time to make a database for. Legends like Hector, Roy Mac, Colin Todd and such! And a couple of seasons before ......As Kev Hector used to remind me!
TOUGHGUY
Would be awesome. But not as awesome as a db from the late nineties – I have seen a few attempts here and there, but none seemed to be good enough. Or is there a db like that out there? Brambi
I'd give it a go, just to know what it was like as I wasn't born
TMLS
Hope there'd be 70s-style tactics too. Tackling needs to go all the way up to "Break their legs!"
Raware
Chopper Harris style!
DanGLiverpool
Yeah, I would love a 70's database, sure my Dad would as well, might be the thing that could introduce him to the game.
waldywaldy
Just Premier League? Don't forget to do the best team in the world around those days: Johan Cruyff's Ajax (wich also provided the bulk of the Holland '74 world championship team wich made it to the final and lost against the bleeding germans while they were better al through the tournament. Yes I know it is 35 years ago but it runs deep after all these years :-s
gazwefc
Quality Team, crnt wait dont forget you had 22 teams in the league back then so 2 teams will have to be left out of the top league and added to the 2nd league which only had 22 then
