Makoto Nakamura
May 2023 A busy, busy month of May but look at that! We only conceded 2 goals and the draw at home to SC Bafata means we're 2 points clear at the top of the table! What a turn around this could become! 3 players have joined us in the mid-season window. Makoto Nakamura
June & July 2023 That was quite the break in play but 2 more very key wins and despite the loss we sit 1 points clear of SC Bafata with 2 games left, and 2nd is guaranteed now! Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2023 League and Cup double! I would not have expected this mid-way through the season! I am definitely leaving Guinea Bissau on a high! Hopefully with my reputation growing ever so slightly I can now get a job in one of the top 15 leagues, or even top 20. Makoto Nakamura
Zanaco FC is a Zambian football club based in Lusaka that plays in the MTN/FAZ Super Division. They play their home games at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.Zanaco Football Club was formed in 1978 as a social team by management trainees of Zambia National Commercial Bank. The team was launched at LOTUS INN in Lusaka. The founding members were Lloyd Choongo, Ben Banda, Nathan Lupupa and John Kasengele. Starting from the 1980s, Zanaco started growing steadily from a mere social club to becoming one of the most successful and decorated club in Zambian football history. Over the years the Sunset Stadium-based team has won 7 Super League trophies, 4 Charity Shields, 1 Coca-Cola Cup, 1 Mosi Cup and 3 BP Cups. Zanaco are the only team outside of Zambia's Copperbelt Province to have not only won but also defended the Super League Trophy! Zanaco stands for Zambia National Commercial Bank. Lusaka. More reasonable temperatures! We have a decent squad, we have better facilities and we have a very young squad. I can see myself being here for a while. Makoto Nakamura
2024 Pre-Season A short pre-season and now we have a long season ahead of us. We lost Aubrey The plus side is that the league has no player restrictions.

Makoto Nakamura
March 2024 A great start! We narrowly lost to Green Buffaloes in the final of the Charity Shield and they're also the only team above us in the league, they also haven't conceded at all. 5 more join us, with Kenedid coming from my home country of Djibouti! Makoto Nakamura
April 2024 2 disappointing losses against mid-table sides but we're only behind Red Arrows on goal difference but both Zesco and Green Buffaloes could overtake us with their game in hand.
Makoto Nakamura
May 2024 2 draws against our direct competition but the rest of the months were nice wins and we sit just a point off of Zesco who have someone who's scored 20 goals already!! Makoto Nakamura
June 2024 Just the 2 games in June and a disappointing draw against 12th placed Nakambala Leopards sees us 3 points behind Zesco and behind Green Buffaloes on goal difference. Makoto Nakamura
July 2024 Well I think we can wave goodbye to any title hopes as we drew against 2 of the bottom 3 in what was a very dull month. I think the DoF might want us to play a 4-2-3-1 with these signings.
Makoto Nakamura
August 2024 4 wins from 4 including a mental win away to Nchanga Rangers where we were winning 5-3 at half-time! We're still 12 points behind Zesco who are going to run away with the title again.
Makoto Nakamura
2024 Youth Candidates I'll be here for a few seasons unless a big interview comes my way so here's the best players from the intake.
Makoto Nakamura
September 2024 Another straightforward month where we're pretty much the 3rd best team in the country, we're also against Lusaka Dynamos in the Semi Final of the cup. Claude's a new signing and was offered by his agent and he could easily be the best midfielder here.
Makoto Nakamura
October 2024 A surprise win over Zesco but we lose out in the cup and 2 draws in the league. 2 more transfers, since I'm not using the player search I just looked at the other clients that Claude's agent had and these 2 wanted to join us with reasonable wage demands

Makoto Nakamura
End of Season 2024 3 wins from 3 and we very much solidify 3rd! 14 points clear of Red Arrows and 11 points behind Zesco, there's quite a gap between the strength of teams here! All I do is finalise the signings, if I don't think a person they've tried to sign is good enough or if they've way overpaid for him then I'll cancel the transfer, I also set the scouting assignments as well as now looking at the agents who are coming to me. (I mainly press continue though)

ryanlion28
Love this journeyman idea. I'm not doing a journeyman but am managing in a poor league in Africa in Seychelles. I went with one of the teams expected to finish near the bottom and i'm finding it ridiculously difficult to pick up a win when your players and the players available to sign are that bad

Makoto Nakamura
March 2025 We lost against Zesco in the Charity Shield but managed to draw against them in arguably the hardest game of the season so I'm very please with that, we also destroyed Ndola Utd 4 players leave, 3 come in. Makoto Nakamura
April 2025 A lot worse, how we only managed a draw aganst 17th placed Mufulira Wanderers I have no idea. Zesco are unstoppable.
Makoto Nakamura
May 2025 Just the loss to the Red Arrows which was disappointing, and we really should have done better against Nkana. Brandon was on fire this month with 9 goals!
Makoto Nakamura
July 2025 June was the summer break and 3 wins from 3 in July puts us 7 points behind Zesci...who now have a GD of +50. 3 in. And Zesco like what they see with our players.

Makoto Nakamura
Pre-Season 2026 We did a lot better than I thought in the Confederation Cup losing 6-2 on aggregate, at least we aren't from Mauritius. That happened. So 2nd again? The Zesco job actually became available and I applied, and I had an interview, but instead they hired someone with an 18% win rate in his 32 game managerial career. Really high hopes for Sebastien so he'll probably be here for 6 months,
