[FM17] African't you see what I did there?

Great work last season! Third is impressive - going from 13th with survival on the last day to a 3rd place. :applause:

Hopefully you can retain a top 3 position this season and settle yourself at the top.

Things didn't look great to start with but I'm hoping to at very least push the top 4 for continental competition.

My 400th game :D 2 league wins and a draw sees us reach the halfway point in 5th place, just 2 points off of 3rd so we're not struggling too badly, we just have a tough run of games coming up. We also could have a cup run as we've drawn another non-league team in the 6th Round.

Quick question on Algeria.  You have previously mentioned that you cannot sign foreign players to Algerian teams, but can you get affiliate clubs and get foreign players through your ranks?

Only MC Alger have a foreign affiliate in Malian side AS Bamako, but that's only for financial benefits so I have no clue if you can sadly.

An easy win at home in the first leg of the...Champions League?! How are we here?! Anyway we look like we'll be able to go to the Seychelles and score some more goals to put us through to the next round and we're still holding on to 4th in the league...just.

We lose out in the cup quarter finals but we've somehow made it to the next round of the Champions League after going 4-2 down on aggregate after 135 minutes of football to have one amazing half and end up going through 7-5! Our reward is a trip to Senegal to face Diambars FC.

A busy pre-season with the Champions League and we could still mathematically qualify for the Semi Final with 1 game remaining but I don't think we will somehow! Last season we conceded over 50 goals in the league so this season we'll be switching to a more standard 4-4-2 to try and concede less.

A narrow loss at home to MC Alger which is very good considering the Media Dream 11 is the entire MC Alger 1st team...before the match against Enyimba we got message that Orlando Pirates had already qualified by beating Kaizer Chiefs so it really didn't matter what we did. So we lost 4-1.

Haha one team makes up the entire Media Dream 11. Its like listening to Mark Lawrenson talk about Liverpool.

You'll crack the league sooner rather than later. You always find a way. Look at what happened in Zambia!

One day we will, although if one of the Alger clubs wanted me then I would most likely accept!

Would be awesome if you win the African champions league with a team from Djibouti one day! But first be successful in Algeria:brock:

That was actually a save idea I had for FM18 :D

October & November 2029

Just the one game in October so I've grouped it with November, an away draw to USM Alger and then 4 wins has pushed us up to 6th but there's just 3 points separating 3rd from 8th right now so it would be very helpful if we could keep this form going!

6 home games and 6 home wins, beautiful and yet we haven't climbed in the league at all. I was also offered an interview for the first time without actually applying for a job!

10th in the Moroccan league, they won it back in 2021 but as you can see, I declined anyway.

Some tight matches but we're through to the Semi Final of the Algerian Cup where we face USM Alger and we're now out of the Confederation Cup following a disappointing 4-0 defeat in the away leg. We're now 7 points behind 4th place and the continental spots but we do have anywhere from 1 to 4 games in hand on the teams ahead of us.

A long last month and a bit but we sneak up to 4th on the 2nd last day, which, whilst is worse than we've finished for the last couple of seasons, I think we've played a lot better this season. Last season we conceded 52, this season we conceded just 27.

Algeria is becoming a tricky customer. Are you open to leaving before winning the league? Or am I being blasphemous even suggesting it?

I'm open to leaving to one of the bigger clubs in Algeria so its not that blasphemous :D

2 wins and 2 draws and we sneak up to 5th, just a point behind USM Alger, the top 3 are now 8/9 points clear so it looks like a fight for 4th. Somehow we won the cup match very easily despite us going down to 10 men in the 13th minute and not scoring until the 64th!
