Fabio MVP
targetman with so little heading and jumping? poor balance and strength also Target Man is not necessarily e.g. Peter Crouch you know? It could be small, fast and eve more ''limited'' player then a poacher, so you don't want him to try anything else, but to run onto ball and try to score. i thought the best use of torres was bench warming formation flat 4-4-2 and flat 4-5-1 (rarly) How about posting as per format in the OP? fyrefuze
what do you guys think about Falcao? just signed him for my dortmund team and the club staff suggests DLF (attack). I am playing 4-2-3-1 with two IF's and one poacher, Sturridge has been brilliant in that. Didn't want to change that tactic, but feel falcao will not suit a poacher role as he lacks pace/acceleration and could be easily blocked by any of the two defenders. ShirazS
Due to his low-ish creativity, I think he would be more suited to play up front. He has good aerial ability as well which is more suited to a Striker. Either Complete Forward - Attack/Support, Deep Lying Forward - Attack or Poacher - Attack depending on his PPM's. Also, it depends on who is your best striker after him, is it a poacher-type striker or a deep lying creative type?

He did actually have slightly better passing/creativity when I had bought him, but I put him on my DM training schedule in the 1st season so that has shifted some of his attributes towards being a BWM. I guess I should just stick with it now then.

dlwk
This guy is on the fringes on my first team... really want to bring him on cos he is english and young and come through the ranks Anyway... my question is... do you think I should retrain him as a striker? I'm just not sure he has the technical attributes to play CM. I don't play with AM so its a box to box role really. I tend to play him against weaker teams where we need goals and he does get assists but i wonder if he'll fare better as a striker based ion his attributes? What do you guys think? a lot of hassle retraining him, he has no current rating for STR

He's been getting very poor ratings, and when I've tried warning/fining, he reacts very badly. And his 'Shoots from Distance' PPM is annoying, as he misses most of the time. joe__the__man
If none of your strikers are scoring goals, you might want to look at your midfield. Are they getting enough of the ball, creating good enough chances? Don't think it's a coincidence that both top class strikers can't score.
