  1. Some litte feedback more - as i am not an english native my only knowledge from english comes from school and dictionaries i look into when i dont know a word. As a coach i am characterized as "Professor" which is a pretty universal word with a universal positive meaning but my characterization as manager is "Hustler" which i find only very mean translation things about and from the description i am not sure the choice of word is right as it seems you mean i am sort of a "penny-pincher" and not that other very defaming thing as far as my translation sources go. Well, i will try to work with the Teal colorsheme as i like blueish themed skins and the white writing in the colored bars is way better readable than in the light blue bars where i can almost not read anything. Regarding the coaches attributes numbers on the training/coaches screen that are almost invisible - i understand the idea behind it and fundamentlally like it but as a starter in a lower league with only low ability coaches available it is somewhat irritating to have pretty much almost no numbers shown. Time will tell if it works out for me but i deeply appreciate your effort to offer an outstanding light skin - be sure of it!
  3. Thx for the replies, greatly appreciate them! Currently i try the NY Light Skin - at 110% 4K it works ok so far and the contrast is better - also it has the traditional attributes layout albeit its the background of the number that is coloured and not the numbers itself. For transferbusiness it has not all the data on a single page but two albeit i can look at it most conveniently without getting tired and have my pattern recognition still working for me. I will honestly stop playing this game without a for me working light skin!
  4. I really dont like Dark Skins - they are so tiresome to look at and make me feel sleepy very soon very strongly so i am all in favour for Light Skins. This one honestly seems to be one of the best skins be it Light or Dark one can have the pleasure to use - it scales well with my 4k 125% resolution and nothing is lost outside of the display space you can reach anything and it reformats well with the resolution changes. The only hickup so far i found on the coaches page where the lower numbers of the lesser developed attributes of my coaches pretty much blend into the light grey background and can not be read. The second thing that prevented me so far from using it is the spaced out format the skin uses for the display of the player attributes - in the classic disaply i can say at a glance without even reading the numbers by the look of the pattern of numbers which players is good or bad (for my style of football) but with the spaced out way this skin displays the player attributes i cant see them at a glance and have to look at each number /graph indivdually which makes the "workload" heavier for me. I will use the Light Skin for a while bcs i really need one to keep playing and maybe i get more used to it but i think i would still prefer a more concentrated display method of the player attributes that is less spaced out and pattern recognition friendly! If i will stick to this skin i will surely show some apreciation as i have done with any mod i downloaded for FM if a PayPal option is available - without PayPal no apreciation but verbaly/in letters! PS: I also do not find my personal coaching abilities - i only get this overview without the numbers....

I tested it in 4k 110% and that works quite well but is still to small for me to look at it convenient for a long time - i need 4k 125% but then things are displayed outside the limits of the display space so it does not work. On standard screens i feel this is a great light skin! I really dont understand the attractivity of dark modes...i only use them when i want to sleep while running stuff and i honestly get very tired only a short while after "working" with things in dark modes...
  6. In my recent lower league save i am still in Tier 6 which is the lowest league offered in the third season now. The other two seasons i faced two teams that i could not go against as they outdid everything i was possible to do in regard to strengthen the Team - for every step i made they made 2 steps ahead and had at one point a 1-167 or so promotion rating. As consolation i was at least able to win the Amateur Cup in season two and make some money from the qualification into the DFB Pokal that cup win includes but money is not an issue so far as i made every season around a 100k profit. Now in the third season it seems i may be able to promote and get out of the hell of non contract football and keep my good players instead of getting "robbed" even by my direct competition. The matches play out spectacular and even in the low Tier better fottballers look better (more able) in the 3D match - i have seen 2 overhead kicks in season two which is half the amount of overhead kicks i have seen in FM13 and FM15 to FM22. Free Kicks are much more dangerous than b4 the latest update and the number feels right, the results at times skyrocket but in a lower league that may happen when the quality difference is at times ridiculous high. At all the matches look quite close to the football i want to see from my team unless they get this mind/morale-losses when they look like the 3 stoges rotating in thier graves on an either an overdose of power drugs or sleeping pills... So far i am well entertained from the game with a sensible amount of challenge and success (while using the realism mod). Best regards

So , i had a match on a snowy green and on my 4k Screen that flickered ike crazy in the past so bad you had to look away this time it was a soft snow and smooth as silk to watch. dont know if it is a driver update or a game update but whoever has done the work on it has my earnest thanks! PS: Atm i score more goals also strong players seem to make even more a difference.

Sometimes i have this issue that the game seems stuck but goes on having outside the view an injured player that gets some treamtent by the medics or players are substituted and the walk slowly of the field and the whole scnene is shown - especially medicinal treatment can take a long time. Sometimes the game becomes sort of unresponsive when one of these mouseover actions hangs where you mouseover something and i.e. a statswindow should open that hangs and does not close again.
  9. Starting in the lowest possible league the youth is a waste of time and effort and i spend as little as possible making it at best a tool for players to play friendlies and get matchfitness. The only good youth players i ever get are those i buy from better teams and then they may 16 or 17 yrs of age and can play in the youth team while train in the 1st team bcs i dont have enough money for youth coaches. That changes when you reach the top tier and your reputation grows enough but that is 10 or even 15 yrs into the game.
  10. I have never seen a FM situation where a club did not pay the debt even in the worst fincancial situation until it ends in administration...

  12. Maybe they had clauses for certain contract renewals? Like having won a promotion or an option for a renewal? If not you really need to look into every sinlge slot of the management tasks the staff does bcs sometimes when staff leaves or is hired the automatic changes these tasks to different staff members so it may accidentaly have enabled the staff do renewals for contracts.

I allways start my own Club - sadly in the Career mode bcs Create a Club has some flaws preventing mods from working - so it is a little tricky but it works in the end with the purchase of the Steam Editor, so i can change my colours etc. The Club name i have to change in the league name file but that is a minor nuisance as well the inability to edit the club badge. And then i start from the lowest possible league to work my way into the Top-Tier. Ofc i have done that for quote some years and it was more immersive in the past than it is now bcs it becomes sort of a routine and some of the old stars you were happy to offer a retirement contract for 1 or 2 seasons in exchange for hier experience and brillance are no longer in the game and the "younger of a generation" these old stars are the less i really connect to them. The Stars from todays football are not my Stars anymore for a lack of individual personality that seems rooted in their natural character and not in the marketing product a player is made by its agents and clubs. There will probably a time when i have reached a distance to football that my real football displeasure haunts my ability to enjoy this game!
  14. Transfer Budget is not the money you have but the money you are allowed to spend. If you pay of a debt money that was locked into paying off the debt becomes available and also the option to make new debts which should increase the budgets available to you and you only control the wage and transferbudget so one of them gets it. Therefore to me it looks not that strange...
  15. To me it looks like you want to execute counter play but there is no one supporting the strikers in doing so and they are all left alone... Put a CM on attack may already help a little...but you are probably easy to mark death (to be neutralized) and every chance you squander is an oportunity for the other team to get revenge on you (make you concede goals instead) and while i prefer high tempo football to my experience you never set the tempo slider to the extreme but to a "quarter", "half" or "3 of a quarter" position. Overall i cant say much more bcs our ways of football do not match so i have no more experience to relate to that would give me ground for a deeper opinion. Hope you sort it out!
  16. My Tactic contains 19 settings and it works. Why does it contain so many settings - is more better than less? Well, more is not better than less - but working is better than disfunctional! As my tactic has it foundation in my philosophy of football and some roots back to the old CM days, when it was a sort of a 3-5-2 tactic. I started playing FM with FM13, after playing a few seasons FM Online and getting FM11 (my very first SEGA-Offline-FM) when FM Online was closed, with FM13 i started seriously playing the series (b4 the EA FIFA Manager was more appealing but that one degraded more and more and i stopped playing it). In FM13 the tactic setup was completely different to what you see today and there were many swiches and sliders etc. Back then in FM13 i really watched whole matches the whole 90+ mins and changed things around to see how my players would react and after much time and testing and work i had a foundation of a tactic, called 4-1-3-2 that was an iteration of my old CM 3-5-2 tactic. It works in every FM since with a very few adjustments and i wont change it bcs that is the way i want football to be played so the changes i make have the reason to recreate that tactic with the means each version of FM offers at hand. That is why the tactic has 19 settings this FM, last FM it had 20 settings and the FM b4 it was 18 i guess - so there is maybe a role change and maybe a setting more or less over the years... And yes, one change, even one wrong player can totaly bork your game and make you lose and one right change can make you win!
  17. I hava had friendly matches that had way more goals dissalowed...in a competition match i guess i had no more than 3 goals dissallowed so far.
  18. In FM in general i try to have anything done via Team-Tactic and Player Roles and do not give any more instructions than that as i found additional PI disrupting the other settings. I have never seen that i get more success with additonal PI settings, i only get more Player errors and tactical break ups that make me concede additonal goals.

Well, i have a string of saves but for only 1 Team, i save after every match automatically bcs FM takes to long to replay weeks in a case if a crash which happens rarely to me but is the more upsetting and the more i would have to replay the less it would be the "original" save to the point were the crash happened and i really dont like that to the point i would rather beginn a new save instead of going forward. So in regard to your question i guess 1 save is the right answer - i never play 2 teams the same time and in the past i did some Nationalteam management but it really is cumbersome and unrewarding the way it plays so i stopped it and play only my club football.
  20. I found that my GK in the SK-Role made many errors when i had quick distribution enabled - it literally enforced additional errors. Have you tried to leave your GK totally blank in that area in regard to distribute to whom and how quick and if there was a change in the number of errors percevieable? I found that at least pre patch the GK was better in a more passive role in regard to distribution and rushing out - patient flexible distribution paired with a lower rushing out value worked (at least for me) better.
  21. In any other FM i would say it can work out but in FM23 i had not have a single GK having good games with an agility that low - the least i had good results with was 11 agility. I have not played since the latest patch as i wait for mods to keep up but i guess nothing has changed FM23 is most sensible in my experience to weaknesses in players and the GK position is it seems unforgiveable to weaknesses. In regard to the AI - it is said the AI players work the same as the human teams players but i have witnessed crap GKs saving way beyond and above what their extremely limited attributes suggest is possible that i must have a doubt that attributes are the end all of that - there must be something more as the AI clear plays to a certain degree of success that would not possible for me as a himan player would i dare to use the same weak players!
  22. Usually if you get good results players also quite often settle with the situation after some months so there is hope! If he has no tranfer fee clause simply negotiate fees so high the bidding club will withdraw...
  23. I am not sure what starting a new save means...? Starting a new game from matchday 1 of the opening season does not change difficulty aside of the things that are based on the rng numbers like players that have no rating and get random generated ratings, these players can be very good or very bad ofc. Reloading a save after a lost match - i dont know i dont do that. Reloading a save after a crashed match - i allways get worse results than the original ones (bcs sometimes it crashes so late in the game the result is set and done - but i had no crash in FM23 so far this is only true for the last couple of FMs since FM16 for me)!
  24. Well, my 2 Cent. When i look at the GK he has weak Agility, low Punching and high Rushing Out - in my experience GKs with a weak agility only fare good if they excell on the Mental and Goalkeeping side and FM23 is especially more cruel to GKs and i have not found a working GK with low Agility at all. Rushing Out seems to me a Sweeper Keeper thing while Punching...all good GKs i see have high value Punching. Area of Command seem to be average but a topclass GK would have a better one - in the top leagues all necessary attributes need to be at least 12. If he is inconsistent, i can see that, you will suffer and suffer and suffer matche were he loses you the game alone...consistency is a must for a GK. Also he will make more errors the less you allow him to make good decisions by deliberately force him to play the ball to a certain limited choice of players. Also, the GK is depending on all the payers in front of him, if they abandon him in his efforts to make saves and catches and play out of the def you court disaster. If all GKs you ever had play below the expectations it seems either the matrix of attributes that drives the choice for having a certain player under contract is missing a key element or the tactic may epxose that certain player or he is as i say again abandoned by the Team. To me it looks he has some weknesses although the avg rating is not that bad but in the end i myself experienced losses based on the GK that had rather avg ratings but changing the GK turned the tide for me and my team startet to win getting more confidence and moral and win more while the other GK would have rating compared to the old one like 6,9 vs 7,1...which seems not to be a big difference but in term of results it was! I chose my GKs for having high agility, high reflexes, decisionmaking, aerial ability and albeit i play a SK i usually chose GKs with a high punching over GKs with a low punching and rushing out is a nonsensical attribute at best, low Handling is a thing that gifts Goals away if to low. Concentration at least for me could stay surprisingly low like 8 and i have not witnessed negative results from it. Anticipation and Aggression seem to be almost irrelevant and so is speed. In the end FM23 is more critical than every other FM in regard to player attributes and traits!
