  1. Shouldn't vision in GK be important in a long distribution game situation? I'm asking this because vision it's not trained in a long distribution training, only in short one. Shouldn't vision be more important in long distribution?
  2. I find this tip interesting. To see if I understood, when you're playing and you have the chance to buy a wonderkid for a "cheap" price (sometimes the release clauses are really low, especially in Brazil), you don't do it? Or in that case, would you offer more money?
  3. I understand what you mean now by the stars and I agree. I'm still playing FM21 and the skin I use is the one from this forum that doesn't show player attributes and no stars too, which is good too. But the same skin for FM22 even though it doesn't show player attributes, it has stars. Just for curiosity and with no player attributes, in what information do you based on to sign new players? Scout reports and player statistics for example? Or do you even watch some matches?
  4. Hi, thanks. Sorry but what do you mean by stars making you lazy when it comes to buy players? What would you like instead of stars? Dont you think it makes the game funnier and more challenging?
  5. Does anyone or how many of you play with that skin that shows stars or other things instead of player attributes?
  6. One of my players learned the most unwanted trait I wanted him to learn which is to get forward. And it was out of nowhere, he isn't even in mentoring groups. Now I'm trying to remove it but I don't know if it's possible. I hate when that happens.
  7. Hi there, I normally use a standard DL, but since I use a bottom heavy formation, I like to use a higher LOE, otherwise we're to passive in defensive transitions. As far as attributes goes for those more advanced players, I look for work rate and stamina mainly. Is there another important one for that? Acceleration maybe? Thanks
  8. Thanks, but that's not exactly what I've asked, maybe. For example if I put maximum width in a balanced mentality, would that width be similar to a normal one used with an attacking mentality for example?
  9. Hi. I know there's no exact answer for this but playing with max width in a balanced mentality could be similar to the normal width in a attacking mentality?
  10. @herne79do you keep playing with that system with West Ham? Since you play with attacking mentality and you only have a 2 man midfield, do you sometimes play narrower or do you keep it like that as it create more space for your players to move and pass the ball? Another question if you dont mind is if you change anything as you build your team with better players?
  11. If you are one of those who likes to play with the same team for many years, can you keep motivated when you reach a level where your team is one of the best? Do you do something special to keep you motivated?
  12. Until Finished or Ongoing, what's the best option?
  13. When you guys are looking for a more attacking fullback, do you prioritize off the ball, dribbling and crossing for example?
  14. Is there any way to see the total money spent and made from transfers so far from all the seasons instead of going season by season? Thanks.
  15. @beverage1982this is how I've been getting good performances from my IW in my system, 13 assists in 20 games. He also has player traits like switch ball to wide areas and cuts inside from left wing. It's also important to have a player with decent work rate.
  16. Yes, I understand that. He's fast, good decisions and positioning, also good passing, concentration and composure, that's why I decide to teach him that trait. Otherwise, I don't think I would.
  17. @herne79that's a interesting post and I'd like to bring this back again for two situations I have in my team. I successfully make my BWM(d) to learn the trait to get forward, as I had him on support but I didn't like how forward he was going, even with the "hold position" PI added. So I'm trying to make him still go forward but not as forward and not as much as I was seeing, because I need him to always be a passing outlet. So with that trait, even on a defend duty, we'll still go forward sometimes, depending on the situation and attributes like decisions, right? The other situation is my AM(a). He is like a Messi kind of player, with good off the ball, creativity, flair, pace, agility and balance. Normally that role is on support duty, but I thought I was wasting his potential with a balanced mentality, as I think that kind of player deserves a more aggressive mentality, so that's why I changed him to attack and made him learn comes deep trait. So the same goes for this situation. Even though he has an aggressive mentality, we'll still comes deep, depending on the situation and attributes, correct? Thanks
  18. Do you guys pay attention to OTB attribute when looking for a IWB on defend/support?
  19. Thanks, I was talking more about supporting players with that PI added but I understand now that it limits their forward runs and somehow their creativity too, maybe. And what about players with contraditory PI and traits? Traits always win over other instructions, right?
  20. What does "hold position" really do? Can we say that is a mentality modifier? In what circumstances do you use it? If you do, of course.
  21. How are you finding it so far? Do you prefer it over attributes numbers? And your decision to sign a player, what do you based on, scout reports?
  22. Thank you. As I said, I've asked this for curiosity. Some people don't care and as long as they have the money to spend, they spend it anyways. Other like to put boundaries, I'm one of those. For example if I make 90M in sales, than I can't spend more than that. If I really want a player and he costs 100M, I won't be able to buy it, unless I sell someone else. So I always try to balance. The reason I do this it's because I think it's more realistic.
