I think in your case a USB stick is the best option. You could also use tethering from your phone if you have access to mobile internet to use the cloud save but it's almost the same procedure.

Retraining as AMR or AML helps a lot with that.

If you play with a back four, asking the GK to distribute to full backs only will probably yield good results, they are the most difficult to get pressed imho.

I wanted to create a thread like this. I use 2 team shapes and one home one away variant so 4 slots would be nice imho. 3 tactics and home and away variants for 6 slots total would probably cover all needs.

Maybe they were on support roles and / or cautious mentality, also Asensio seemed to man mark your left midfielder that's why he was deep in transition. Djene didn't do anything out of the ordinary in the highlights I saw, but maybe he has the "gets into opposition area" trait, personally I never saw him there. Do you use a Raumdeteur? Also, why did you substitute a central defender?

A winger will 100% attack the box too, especially with attack duty, no need to change anything there (though you might want to put Vargas on a support duty, he doesn't have the best of anticipation). An inverted winger is a guy who crosses inwards with his left foot and you don't have that player there. Also someone who doesn't make forward runs will help with recycling and defence, both bwm roles do that, no need to change anything, the support role just plays a more expansive passing game which Aranguiz is perfectly capable of achieving. So all you need to change is the cm role imho, your tactic is very good. Only change the bwm if you put Frimpong in a more attacking role, because the bwm -su tries to break attacks high up the pitch and this might result in some counter-attacking from your opponents.

Well the obvious thing is that your midfielders are too aggressive and you may struggle to hold the ball, it looks like all of your problems come from the use of cm-a, try using cm-su instead. Pass into space is for when you are a fast team and the opponents are slow mainly, it's situational. Also, since you press high and the lines are high it would be better if you were using a sweeper keeper instead of a GK. You could also click on the "weak influence" and try to identify the problem with this specific player, changing some PI a little bit or even replacing him.

Well your defense seems that risks too much, consider making the central defender a nncb. Your dlp or cm both don't mark at the flanks, consider using a BWM instead of a cm and check "stay wider" to your pressing forward to provide defensive cover there (training him as AML also helps). In transition I would throw it long to the playmaker, it would help with the counter a lot.

So... Let me see if I get it right: You want a static advanced forward who will stay with his man instead of going a little bit to the side, then he will risk even more by trying to beat this man. My 7 crossing wb has 15 assists per annum, I'd say crossing is like the least important attribute imho. So what if he cannot find a player accurately, the teammate can always move Seriously though, crossing is an important attribute, but not as important as determination or anticipation or work rate or tackling. I don't think there's a single player in my database currently that has 14 crossing.

Try lowering the engagement line, it works well for me. Cautious mentality would help too. If you have the player, use a deep lying forward / f9 instead, you'll get some nice counters from the wingers this way. Poacher with short passing... mehh idk. Does he return deep at all in this version? i haven't played with a poacher at all.

Cautious mentality is your friend imo. I've had success with Boro playing with cautious mentality and an attacking midfielder. Not so much with Man City tbh because they had Haaland and I couldn't keep him quiet, but with the other teams I've won many times.

Well, regarding the teams that want him, he may not be good enough for the second division. He might want to play there but that doesn't mean that the teams will want him. I want to play for Barcelona but am I good enough to do so? Regarding your promise, it is unclear from your thread whether you gave youngsters opportunities or not, in a similar situation for me I had youngsters as regular starters and my player was happy I kept the promise. Regarding the fact that he supports the club, sentiment and career are two different things, he just wanted something better professionally. Is he worth it though?

When you ask your GK to distribute to the Target Forward, do roles such as DLF or F9 or Complete Forward count? Or do you have to have a TF set up? If someone could answer this I would be grateful!
