  1. Will be happy if I will see people stop taking or look at "star" rating system as an absolute, while the game use it as relative opinion.
  2. @harrycarrie & @Xavier Lukhas Happy to see there is an interesting in this topic. This year with Inside Forward situation was an interesting topic as an example; reminds me the situation with Bad Company where your movement was left - right - forward - backward, but not diagonal left-forward. Prefer to see that 2-core CPU (supported) being a thing of past in FM. It's like image & audio in my world. Recording 4K will look better in 720P display from 720P recording in 720P display, but recording 720P video and being displayed in 4K will look ugly. That's what I want to see from Sports Interactive, not if they fix or add new stats in Data Hub as an example.
  3. IDK what happened, but after spring 2021; Windows is doing a terrible bad work regarding updates.
  4. Since installing GPU updates like this, problems has been solved (not only FM). Always keep Windows up-to-date.
  5. - Point Finger In Media: I am using it when I don't want to give a straight answer (usually the middle option). In Players: During half-time about second or third option from up answers (it's a gentle reproof or gentle "motivation" - reminder). In Players: Before an easy match. - Pump Fists In Players: Before a difficult match to get motivated.

  7. That's because AI is stronger than you and have better players. It's not always about the tactic, but in your case I will: - Increase Tempo. - SK Support since you have "Counter" enabled. - Remove Tight Marking. - Fix Set-Pieces. - Add Play Out of Defense to decrease the passing range of defense.
  8. Here you can read what is good (or bad) traits for each role. For example click on Central Attack Roles and from drop-down menu choose "Advanced Forward"; you will find "Complementary Player Traits".

  12. Let's take an example. Fitness Coach which have 20 in all attributes weighting will give you CA 200 with Level of Discipline in 1. That will be 4 and half star rating. If you add Level of Discipline 20, then will be 5 star. Is it worth a half star difference? IMHO, no. Below attributes weightings is coming from Pre-Game Editor.
  13. It depends what database setup have you choose, what's your scouting package (assume it's "World"), what's the settings in your scouting assignments and finally what the knowledge level of your scouters are.
  14. The reason why shouts is not happened during a highlight (like subs or tactical changes) is that can become an exploitable "button". In order to avoid "mistakes", apply shout after a highlight.
  15. What's the worst? I will start the game as 50 years old (IRL) and have 10 years to be developed as a manager (in-game). So, only 15 years. Maybe I will lie to the game and start as 21 years old. LOL
  16. Having mixed feeling about them, because I want to follow more my TI & PI combinations. As a general rule; I am trying to follow these charts about player role & traits from here. For example for PF At:
  17. Ok. Let's start. Player can decrease or increase attributes based on: - Rest CA/PA - Player: Determination, Ambition, Professionalism - Age - Coaching Department - Training Facilities - Training Schedules Let's take a close look at CA/PA. When a player has 100 PA and it's 90 CA; it's highly unlikely to improve in some attributes, like physicals ones. That's why because player has different weighting for each attribute in each position. What happens when a player it's nearly to reach PA number or have reach PA number? Player will have slower development or decline. Why? Because as I said above; all the above factors effect player development or declining. So, if you focus heavily in physical attributes ("eats" more CA numbers; like development weak foot), have to decrease somewhere else to make room for others. That's the general idea. There is a lot more details to determine why a player improve or decline.
  18. The question is (are): If it's safe for IF to cut inside with the ball without losing possession, if it's faster than opp. defender (-s) (with the ball), if has the space to do that etc... The TI "Narrow" will make your players to play the ball in DM-CM strata; rather than on flanks regularly. Arrows & sliders is now different and more complex.
  19. It's not only training schedules and coaches. It's about as well: - Training Facilities - Rest CA/PA - Age - Determination, Ambition, Professionalism - Injury Prone (can damage the process) and other factors as well. Here is a good experiments about that stuff.
