  1. Right. WBLsu - DLPsu - BWMsu - WBRsu WCBde - CDde - WCBde My main CB (Drudi) is very old, even for Serie C. I am already scouting a replacement for him, I will go for BPD next season, will see how it goes.
  2. Thanks for coming back with an update. I will definitely continue with this tactic in FM24 . I will keep your suggestions in mind.
  3. I put WCB in defend mode. I now noticed it somehow switched to Support mode. Maybe I mistakenly changed it during player changes, but I believe it's for couple of matches only. I definitely use WCB-Defend.
  4. Gibraltar is an in-built league in FM2024, no need to download any add-on from Steam. I checked it already.
  5. So, sorry. I hope you get it fixed soon. Maybe try couple of more times, restart the PC/Mac.
  6. I moved both CM to DM position. Left one changed to DLP(su) and Right one to BWM(su). I put both WBRs to stay wider too. Now my Forward and 2 AMCs were attacking the goal and 2WBRs were feeding the crosses along with DLP was pulling some amazing through balls from middle of the field. I will say, it took 10/12 matches to make the tactic click. Once all the familiarity pointers hit Fluid and Position/Role/Duty reached to Competent, my team's performance upped few notches.
  7. This is closed source proprietary system, so no source code. What you can do is play game scenarios 100 of times and grab the data, then analyze it to understand the underlying logic. For example: how the training impacts to improve layer attributes etc. But it is time consuming. So, what sane people do is play and enjoy the game.
  8. I am one of the lucky ones who work from home (in software engineering profession). I have multi-monitor setup and one monitor is attached with my Mac. I can still play during weekdays, although the progress will be slower than during weekends.
  9. I will carry on my FM2023 save for few more weeks. I have already bought FM2024 but my FM2023 save is in interesting phase and I need closure for that.
  10. FM2008 was my first FM. I used to play Total Club Manager (EA Sports one), Football World Manager but never played FM. Then somehow I landed on FM 2008 and I fell in love with it. Simple gameplay yet addictive. I would love to see it modernized.
  11. This is how I see the version in my own terms. It might differ from individual views though. Alpha is a software version which is still in development phase. Expect lots of bugs and crashes. We typically do not get to play alpha version of games anyway. Beta is when the game features are finalized and already implemented, but some bugs still exists. You can expect full game is playable in this phase but there will be bugs, even game-breaking. You've been warned. Full Game is Final Release. This is where majority all of the game breaking bugs are fixed, ready for public release. I am an enterprise software architect by profession, I don't believe there is 100% bug-free code (game too), but in this version of game, you should not see any game breaking bugs. You can expect all features are working as intended, may not be in your liking but that's on the individual expectation. You still might get small bugs here and there which will be fixed in subsequent patches. Early Access is kind of BETA in this specific situation (FM). But in STEAM, many developers release their alpha version of game as Early Access mode, to generate interest.
  12. If you are on MacOS, take advantage of symlink. In Windows, I think something called Junction tool, unfortunately I don't use Windows since 2015, so I cannot tell if this still exists or not.
  13. Squad planner is a beautiful tool. I typically play one-club game, and it's very helpful to visualize and plan upcoming 2 years squad roaster. One less thing to track in writing for me. Definitely a thumbs up from my side.
  14. If I recall correctly, FM16 included 64-bit for first time. The issue is related to a bug which affects the versions where both 32-bit and 64-bit are supported. As per information in one the above comment, FM20 onward FM is only 64-bit. So, this issue will impact FM16-FM19.
  15. Spreadsheet is created to help anyone to check how long it takes for each game setup to complete 1 week of holiday, so people can setup their game accordingly. Now Ryzen 7600 was not there during 2020, hence nearest thing you can compare is 6Core/12Thread, 3.8Ghz base clock based configuration in the list and get a closest idea about the game speed you can get. For example: I see closest timing you can compare is from Ryzen 5600X + 32GB entry in the list. That configuration shows, 1:36 for A, 6:35 for B, 9:16 for C setup. It means if you follow the same setup, then you can expect similar time when forwarding between weeks (say Sun to Sun) when you play the game. Add your own stoppages (for making some changes, time for "Must Respond" events etc.) on top of that. So, do you thing these timings will work for you? Then you can go to first post of this thread and use the setup used by the same Benchmark file.
  16. Unfortunately I cannot provide any solution. I only have MacOS and all of them are Apple Silicon CPU based hardware. FM2017 is the oldest one that I can play and IGE is working in FM2017. What I can suggest is please try to submit a support ticket here:https://support.sega.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360003117678. Maybe someone from SEGA will help you.
  17. I think your set up is fine. You took a good approach to the DB. Top 5 leagues with 2 divisions are fine, so your wonder-kids may be bought by big clubs. On the other hand rarely a Italian or British player will come and play Denmark, hence neighboring nations will be needed with full details, so you can have access to player pool, who will genuinely come and play in your country. I also follow similar approach when setting up my game.
  18. Thank you for sharing. I am happy that you're thriving once again.
  19. @WhyMe Thank you man. Your advice worked. I have changed my above tactic slightly based on your suggestion. Moved CMs to DMs position. Made AM more attack minded. I don't play LWB in attack minded in every match, only against weaker teams. I am little bit defensive in my first season. And I played 6 games afterwards. I won 4 of them and although it's very weak team now (I am in my first season), I'd say the xG and possession and clear cut chances are definitely improved. If I get some better players next season, this can help me a lot.
  20. This is exactly happening to me. I am always having less of xG against my opponents, even if I win the match. Right now at work, but I've a plan for a few hours of FM session tonight. I'll try your suggestion.
  21. All I'd say, I am excited to see it in real life and play it in FM24.
  22. Small update: I am using this tactic with my team Monopoli. That's a real team in Italian Serie C, who knew. Anyway, Monopoli is very small lower league team, hence it might be the lack of good players, I am not able to get better results yet. I have played 11, Won 3, Draw 4 and currently sitting in 11th. Although my goal is to achieve top half this season, which I think feasible, I am going to give this tactic little more tweak and more time. One thing for sure, typically most of the tactics from the community are geared towards big/semi-big teams, so I was not expecting magic when I started my save in lower league. But I'd say, whatever the goals I have scored are very beautiful and eye-pleasing and I can say with good teams/players this tactic will shine.
