It depends on the formation. It's a more realistic representation of the actual real life versions.

Cup draws are random. It will depend on when exactly you reload the game. The draw (under the hood) may have already been calculated after the last match in the previous round.

@JonnySykesYour screenshot shows that Dortmund is also in the CL, so the clause won't be active.

You keep posting figures that shows that you have a low % of shots on target. Fixing that first would be a big step, imo, into getting better results. Might be worth asking advice in the tactics forum, but if you do, please supply as much info about your setup etc as possible.

Match prep that states it's in effect for the upcoming match, only affects the upcoming match. There may be visual UI issues, but SI has confirmed this in the past.

You can't roll back. What exactly is the issue?

Only 5 shots on target. A bunch of blocked shots perhaps? Or wild/rushed shots? If it's a must win match, it could be the pressure getting to some players, especially regarding the straight red card.

I haven't defended anything. I asked if you did what SI advised you to do. They literally looked at your save file, so they didn't suck the advice out of their thumb. At the very least, you could try what they advised and if the results are still bad, report that it is. You ignoring it won't allow any progress to be made.

Injury rates are lower than real life levels. I don't tend to overtrain players, so I'll add recovery sessions for players with very low condition. If there are a lot of matches I'm going to need them for, I'll rest them from training completely as well. Be careful with injury prone players; they can be dealt with, but will still pick up annoying little knocks here and there.

You can see from your screenshot that he doesn't have much interest in joining you. I'm not saying he should be asking for as much as 75k, but he will want you to make it worth it to him because he's not keen on a transfer.

Your screenshots show scouting that's out of date, some players at rival clubs and most of the players unscouted. You haven't indicated whether you spoke to any agents either, so it is impossible to say whether it's 'normal' or not. I have tried to give you some advice that should lower those values, but I can only work off the screenshots you've shown. SI had a look at your save and they have indicated that the values are dynamic and depends on the relationship between the buying and selling club. They have also advised scouting some of those players further and talking to their agents. Have you done that?

@Jellico73, if you're finding issues, please report them in the bug tracker. Ideally with a save from just before the offer is made, with the steps on how to reproduce the issue you're reporting.

Some high asking prices will be because they're playing for domestic rivals. For the others, if you want a 'real' value on some of those players - scout them, talk to their agents etc.

Because there's a wage structure in place to control finances. Without it (structure), things can spiral out of control quickly. What happens if you sign another Important Player and pay him 6k / week? The other 5 will want the same very soon. If they get it, the Regular Starters will want want higher wages too, because they're close in ability and have a slightly lower playing time promise. So those 5 players will want 3-5k / week. That continues down the order and it ruins your salary cap completely.

In FM and IRL, it shows the quality of chances.
