  1. Luckily it can be skinned …
  2. In panels/match look for “match scoreboard area”. (Or something like that). Copy it. In panels/match you should have a comps folder. In the comps folder you’ll have a folder called efl. In there, back up “match scoreboard area” then overwrite with the one that was loose in panels/match Clear cache. Reload skin. If you don’t have a comps folder you can create one with this string: panels/match/comps/efl Put “match scoreboard area” in the /efl folder.
  3. I’ve always maintained these “inaccuracies” are part of the charm of FM. Sometimes it’s fun to laugh. They’re never game breaking. Immersion breaking perhaps. But don’t underestimate the importance of a bit of comedy. I do agree about the potential for disaster for next years game though. Personally I do not believe SI should be combining the women’s and men’s game. Are they combined IRL? Or are they separate entities? Do they have their own shows on TV? Or are they mixed into one? Bravo to SI for the aspiration. Just make them separate.
  4. Guessing here, as not on PC atm, but: Does tracking down the location of this icon below have a xml file in the same folder? Perhaps there is code in that for the colour of the numbers that can be played with. Like, change it to “secondary” for example. file="pitch/icons/kit/large/simple kit" Edit: Ignore me. Having just checked there appears to be no file associated with these icons. Hmmm. Sorry. I’m not sure now.
  5. Is there a function (bit of code) that can be added to a widget block to turn off hints on hover? Thanks.
  6. I often see players opening their body and shooting a curling shot with their preferred foot. Mainly midfielders. But might just be my setup.
  7. Thanks for passing this on @GIMN. Just to say however, that skin is not mine 😁 @Charlie5Marine The NoStars&Attributes21 skin will not work out of the box with FM23 unfortunately. Do check out the skin posted by @GIMN for FM23, as it is, and was, the base for NoStars&Attributes21. (The FM21 version, obviously 😊)
  8. Personally I never navigate to this page. I land on it at start up and immediately move off it, without barely looking at it. I go to it to look at my manager profile, but again, it’s just an added “click” to get to the info I want. It’s a useful overview page if I haven’t logged onto a save in a while, but as that is rare, I find the page largely redundant as the info displayed there can be found elsewhere. If I want to see the league table I click on the league. If I want finances, I click on finances. If I want to see who I’m playing next, I go to schedule. Etc. As to what could be shown or useful there? It’s a question that has stumped me for years. Just my opinions, of course, and not particularly helpful. I’ve contemplated removing it from my skin entirely, but I quite like the stadium picture I’ve added to the next fixture area 😊
  9. Was fun during beta. Wish SI had more confidence in their vision. Same every year.
  10. The English Football League (EFL) has its own dedicated scoreboard. It has its own files and folder in panels/match. You will need to replace match score board (or whatever it’s called) in that EFL folder in panels/match, if you do not want it to look as it does.
  11. Some images, if you click on properties of the image, and you’ve downloaded off the net, can be blocked. Try unblocking. Also some images, for no logical reason, just do not get read by the game I have found. I went through 6! separate images for the Cuban national stadium before finally finding an image that the game was happy with.
  12. Panels/match Move all the files over from Tato (or whatever) into panels/match of the base skin. If the base skin already has a match folder back it up first (in case it’s a mess). If base skin doesn’t have a match folder just make one or just copy and paste the match folder from the skin you want. This is the simple procedure. Long winded procedure is that some panels in the match folder you copy over call other panels in other folders, resulting in missing info etc. But I’d cross that bridge if you get to it. This, theoretically, will create the whole matchday experience set up for the chosen skin (Tato). To pick and choose only certain elements will need individual panel editing.
  13. and if still problems, quit game, take all skins out of skins folder. Go to users/app data/local/si/fm23 and delete your cache and preferences folder. Reload game. Spend 10 mins getting your prefs right. Add skins back into skins folder. Last resort, but should solve your issue if nothing else does.
  14. I can’t make it clearer without violating certain restrictions. Do a Google search and get the FM22 file. Install everything apart from the file(s) that need to go in your data folder. The download has full instructions.
  15. Was unsure of posting this but figured it should be said, as this has worked for me. Search Google for the ad boards patch for FM22 (Might be found on a non uk site as efforts have been made to stop this). Follow the installation instructions but DO NOT install the files that go in the game/data folder. You will get blacked out adboards. You will not have anymore lag due to adboards. Sorry SI. I understand you do not want to hear this, but for those of us who suffer awful lag due to the adboards - needs must. Of course SI, if you could work out why some of us experience terrible lag when video adboards are used, that would be ideal. I have tried everything to stop the lag on 2d (I only play 2d anyway so unsure of what’s happening in 3d). Lowered graphics settings (you can put them back up to your system recommended btw after installing this patch), removed crowd, tweaked every NVidia setting going. Only thing that helped (me) was this adboard patch. Hope it works for others.
  16. 1. Play a network game if you can. 2. Skip a year. 3. Play without stars and attributes. I’d have lost the will years ago without any one of these.
  17. Having had a look the simplest way of getting it to show seems to be to remove ... class="client_object_viewer_xml_panel" from the first container. Just having a blank container, with no class, seems to allow the tabbed container to read the widgets, giving the cleanest results. I tried playing around with other container classes (plain_box, main_box, bordered_box etc) but they each threw up slightly wonky results. Feel free to play around with this, but removing the class="client_object_viewer_xml_panel" makes the stadium widgets show.
  18. Sorry. I know the code. We need to see where you have put it. It looks like from your original screen shot it is in a tabbed container. This code wasn’t originally intended to be in a tabbed container. It’s possible the “layout” of this tabbed container is interfering with the stadium “layout”. Upload the panel the code is in, and when I get a chance I’ll take a look for you.
  19. You’re going to need to post some panels up. Where and on what panel have you put the stadium code?
  20. Pretty sure this is a game wide issue. Check with the default skin. I vaguely remember the first column headings for meeting widgets don't appear.
  21. This is a serious amount of information in a small space! Love it.
  22. I’m not in a position to directly tell you how to do the boards unfortunately. You’ll have to search Google for this I’m afraid. And the skinning hideout has some information. My skin is not for sharing either. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. I am posting the information I have here, in the feedback thread, in the hope SI look into these issues for us all, and can possibly use the information I have provided to find an “official” solution. Good luck.
