A spokesman for Man United said they would not be paid for their new roles and would not be involved in the day-to-day running of the club. "The move reflects common practice. All Glazer family members are involved in all the family's business interests," he said.

It is understood that Kevin and Darcie have yet to attend a Man United game.

Darcie Glazer's appointment means she becomes one of the few women ever to take a top management role at a football club. Others include Karen Brady, the managing director of Birmingham FC, and Delia Smith, the doyenne of TV chefs, who owns a 58 per cent stake in Norwich City FC. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Everybody still want him? He was hit at some stage against S+M and did at least 2 unneccessary rolls. Couldnt help thinking keano wouldnt have done that. Is he really an argie hard man or just a typical south american who can tackle?

Seem to remember at the back of my mind some gabby amatuer dramatics from 04/05 but Ive tried to block them out.

You can't liken the play acting to keane because they come from two completely different football cultures

Fair point. We need the right man though and if he is going to be our future captain and the man we base our midfield around for ten years Id like to know hes more keane than robben.

We've been linked with bellamy today, would you want him? Balls no. Personally I feel there is a "United" kind of player. We take pride in being above all the petulant diving boll0cks. Which is why I'll be happy when (if) ronaldo cuts it out. Niggly wind up merchants are all right for Blackburn,(Savage Bellamy) Arsenal, (Reyes, Pires) or Chelsea, (Wise, Robben) but not us.

We do desperately need a CM or two but it has to be the right one thats all. Ive not seen that much of Mascherano so I cant say how common his theatrics are. If it is only occasionaly then great.

Come on, you must want Juve and Milan to get relegated, for Moratti to claim that Inter were never involved and thats why they've not won it in x amount of years and now that it's not being fixed, it's Inter's year, only for them to fall short once again?
