podunkboy
Somewhere in the blackness of interplanetary space, a small, non-descript chunk of rock slowly tumbled through the tail of a passing comet. Many years later, the tug of a distant star pulled the rock into a diminishing orbit that intersected with the orbit of a small blue-green planet, but where the fragments of the rock finally landed was neither blue nor green, but the dusty desert of Mongolia. 9 months later, a global football dynasty was born in a scattered collection of natal beds. So, Mongolia. Your player was born within a month of September 30, 2000, to a Mongolian parent. You may have a non-Mongolian parent, but you will be tied in the database to Mongolia. What I need for you: A Mongolian-based name (you can also throw in your non-Mongolian parentage here) - do the research people Position: We need 1 CM and 2 "wild cards" (once all the positions are taken) - you may pick a secondary position, too. Ht/Wt (in meters/kg please) If you want to give hair color/foot/etc. you may give that. Birthday between 9/15-10/15 All players will receive determination of 18, a starting CA of 100 and a randomly-set PA in the world-class level. You may select 3 attributes of 20, everything else will be randomly generated. My only interaction with the database will be as starting manager of the Mongolian National Team. Players will be free to move throughout the world, so long as they come home to play for Mother Mongolia. I will load up all the Asian players/leagues available...and the top leagues of the first 4 non-asian countries submitted by signees. Objective: Move Mongolia from 198th in the FIFA ratings into the top 20, and challenge for a World Cup. Maybe get a Mongolian named Player of the Year. Any other suggestions, throw them out, and get busy filling all those empty spots. Oh, and I found a 2-level Mongolian league on Steam Workshop, so I'll load that in to generate more players for the National Pool.
vikeologist
Name - Teshou Khan Position SC Ht 188cm Wt 88kg Hair Colour - Black Foot - either Birthday 10/10 Parents - both Mongolian. My father is the ex-President of Mongolia. I gained unwelcome notoriety as a 12 year old when my mother Bulugan Khan was imprisoned for trying to poison the starting striker of my youth team, Ayurbarwada Darmabala, so that I would be able to get into the team. I am extremely rich, a bit of a playboy and possibly a psychopath like my mother. Attributes at 20 - Finishing, Positioning and Heading. A bit obvious, but I'll be interested to see what happens. podunkboy
Okay, I edited in a club for all the players, set them on 2-year youth contracts, ran the database for 6 months, they're pretty much the only players in Mongolia with a stated value. The national team's already playing most of them on the senior level and the Asian Cup qualifying results look good. Hopefully, starting tomorrow or Tuesday I'll create the manager, set him in charge of the National team, and we'll start the sim.

podunkboy
So, I've been taking it slow, since development of the players has been slow, lots of injuries, and little movement to better leagues. podunkboy
8 hours ago, Sankalan said: Why are both the strikers Genghis and teshou marked as D(C)? When I was entering them in the database, apparently the combination of selected and generated attributes gave them a secondary position. And since I only manage them at the national level, I think their club manager is using them at both positions. I guess I could go into their match form screen and see where they've been playing. For me, it's handy to have a player who can start at center back and pound in some goals from the box.
