Hopefully then he'll realise we badly need a new stadium. League Table - a record points total, and not far off the perfect 38. Community Shield - we made hard work of this, but came back to win. UEFA Super Cup - it took penalties to get the win we deserved. FIFA Club World Cup - we left it about as late as possible before finally taking one of our chances. Capital One Cup - no problems here. FA Cup - it took a second half comeback to win the final. UEFA Champions League - a perfect season, including a dominant final. This meant we had gone the entire season unbeaten. Transfers - my only transfer target fell through due to an injury. Squad - the young squad I built a few years ago is hitting its peak, but another rebuild will be due soon. Finances - I made the most of the new money by extending lots of contracts, paid for by a dodgy sponsorship deal. Key Player Profiles: Geraldo - with Icaro injured for 8 months, it was Geraldo who was our top scorer. Oliveira - probably still our second best striker. Mathias Ceccherini - he's hit 30 now, so his days are numbered. Dario Catalano - an amazing recovery from a player I had written off a long time ago. League Table - we set another record points total as Man Utd and Liverpool battled against relegation. Community Shield - it was a close match but we scored a late winner. UEFA Super Cup - we failed to take our chances which kept the scoreline reasonable. FIFA Club World Cup - we were a bit better in this one. Capital One Cup - another easy win. FA Cup - there was a shock as we stumbled early on. UEFA Champions League - this made it eight in a row. Transfers - nothing needed. Squad - the average age of the squad is quite high, so I'll need to start replacing people. Finances - we had £275m in the bank in August! Key Player Profiles: Icaro - after a long injury he returned to his best. Oliveira - once again he proved himself worthy of the first team. Mathias Ceccherini - he's playing his best football now, which is a shame with his age. Achim Bender - the rock in midfield. Siyabonga Mkhize - our most valuable player. Could you show us a player history post for Icaro? Thanks Joel McInnes has made the most appearances (470), despite not appearing in the Best XI. Ivan Gorostidi (retired) is our top goalscorer with 495 (from 450 games). Icaro - he's a bit of a late bloomer, so I might keep him around for a bit. League Table - with just one win in our first four games, my job came under pressure! Community Shield - an easy win to kick off the season. UEFA Super Cup - we probably deserved to lose this. FIFA Club World Cup - a comfortable win, despite the second half. Capital One Cup - we beat everyone with ease, although the final was interesting. FA Cup - easy wins and the same cup final opposition, but this time the final was terrible. UEFA Champions League - our away form was a bit shaky, but we edged out United to ruin a dream final for the city of Manchester. Transfers - a lot of the older players were sold as I spent big on new players, especially strikers. Squad - there are still a few older players who need replacing, but the squad is looking in great shape. Finances - a profit, thanks to the 'sponsorship'. Key Player Profiles: Leonardo Damiani - the new star striker, I just hope he recovers from this injury. Mauro Medina - he may be the wrong side of 30, but he's better than ever. Robin Sprujt - should be a brilliant winger for years to come. Xavier Alonso - a late signing who should make an impact next season. Sebastian Skeete - may find himself playing AMC to stay in the team. This season I was looking to improve the squad by replacing the older players. League Table - a record goals tally, but we threw away a lot of points. Community Shield - we were the better team in the season opener. UEFA Super Cup - pretty much a repeat of the previous match. FIFA Club World Cup - a one sided win over the Brazilians. Capital One Cup - we fell early following an eight goal thriller and penalties. FA Cup - we slipped up at Wembley. UEFA Champions League - we started slowly but hit form in the knockout stages. Transfers - a lot of changes and a new transfer record. Squad - there's still a few players I'd like to sell, but I just can't find the replacements. Finances - sponsorship masking a big loss. Key Player Profiles: Leonardo Damiani - a decent season for a 34 year old, but it is probably time for him to move on. Christian Alegre - didn't have the goals of last season, but still a great year for him. Darió Linares - a decent goal total, but he's not up to the standard of Damiani in his prime. Hélder - still early to tell if this was a good signing or not. Mark Gillan - a brilliant youth product. League Table - the highlight was Chelsea getting relegated. Community Shield - we needed penalties to settle an even match. UEFA Super Cup - we took our time in taking our chances. FIFA Club World Cup - the usual win over the South Americans. Capital One Cup - no problems, although Man City pushed us close. FA Cup - another cup win, with just York taking us to a replay. UEFA Champions League - we didn't start too well but soon hit top form. Transfers - a very busy year for transfers as seven first team members were sold in favour of youngsters. Squad - we have a really young squad now, so they can only get better. Finances - sponsorship hides huge losses due to contract renewals. Key Player Profiles: Darió Linares - top scorer again. Juan Pablo Vázquez - a brilliant supporting striker, but missed 3 months injured. Jan Sedlacek - my scouts raved about this youngster, they weren't wrong. He could be something special. Ziya Ozen - has filled Plata's boots very quickly. Hélder - the transfer fee was excessive, but he's still pretty good. League Table - it has been fifteen years since we lost this many. Community Shield - a close game, but we got the win. UEFA Super Cup - this one wasn't as close as the scoreline suggested. FIFA Club World Cup - different opponents, same result. Capital One Cup - we made a mess of the final. FA Cup - we started well, but suffered a shock at Championship Ipswich. UEFA Champions League - just the one loss, but we made up for it in the second leg. Transfers - just one signing, a defender with bags of potential. Squad - other than the goalie, my only worry is having too many central defenders. Finances - a decent profit. Key Player Profiles: Jan Sedlacek - the youngster was given the chance to lead the line. Juan Pablo Vázquez - the reliable supporting striker. Darió Linares - an horrific injury could mean the end of him. Robbe Leroy - the coaches don't really rate him, but he's performing well. League Table - our worst season in 29 years. Community Shield - one sided enough. UEFA Super Cup - this was a bit closer, although the scoreline flattered them. FIFA Club World Cup - another close one thanks to our poor finishing. Capital One Cup - a solid set of results. FA Cup - just like last season, we had a huge win then went out in the 5th round. UEFA Champions League - undefeated, although we were very close to losing the final. Transfers - I found a brilliant right back, and gave a young goalie a chance to shine. Squad - the young goalies struggled, but I can't find anyone better. Finances - a worrying loss, which could explain the youth setup problem. Key Player Profiles: Jan Sedlacek - top scored, but also suffered with injuries. Juan Pablo Vázquez - reliable as ever. Darió Linares - recovered from his long injury, but might want to leave. Hélder - our most valuable player. Ziga Kramer - looked outstanding at 17, but hasn't really progressed as I'd hoped. Would it be wrong to sell him?
