  1. I agree with you, at least to a certain degree. I think xG can be a valuable identifier of which side created the most or best chances in a game. Which in itself often is a factor in who "dominated" the match. But as with everything else, it needs to be viewed in a big picture, and not in isolation.
  2. If the game is cheating, then I often feel I'm getting the benefit. I mean, I just had this game now. Did I deserve this 8-1 win over QPR? I would say we were good for a win, but not by 8 with a sub 2 xG. Some times you get lucky, some times you get unlucky, just roll with it. If you are unlucky almost every match, then I'd challenge if it's even got anything to do with luck at all!
  3. Also, I asked a Dutch person if the name was plausible, and turns out, it is. Monster is a not that uncommon as a last name, and Cock is apparently a somewhat rare, but real first name. An example is Cock Jol (the brother of Martin Jol previously at Tottenham), who has been an assistant at Hamburg and Fulham (https://www.transfermarkt.com/cock-jol/profil/trainer/7164). Guess you learn every day...
  4. As I said above, there is a file that limits banned names, but if the user has removed it, then things can happen. If the user haven't, then this is a candidate to be added to that list. (Unless that name is plausible for Dutch people, hell they have Jizz Hornkamp and Tiny Cox as examples of a names that doesn't ring well in English....)
  5. It restricts what team a human manager can manage. If you don't want any restrictions, select "All". Do note that the leagues loaded will also affect this, so you can't manage in a league you haven't loaded. I think it's mostly used for network saves where you want to restrict everyone to a certain country.
  6. Never broken my hand, but I have broken a finger catching a ball as a goalkeeper before. No clue how it happened, it was just a shooting pain in my finger as I caught it and then it got swollen and I went to the ER the next day when it kept getting worse.
  7. Have you deleted certain files to circumvent lisences? There is a file in there that should stop these types of names from generating, but I've noticed that most guides tell you to delete the file for whatever reason. Could be that, or that this combo should be added to it.
  8. XaW - Marine FC - Season 2034/35 (Season 11) - Premier League Squad | Transfers | Finances Another season we can be proud of! Even if we are solid mid-table, I can't really ask for more currently. And we managed to a major cup run to win the FA Cup, I'm just elated. We really need to get the board to accept improvements to our youth facilities though, as they keep rejecting it for some reason. I mean, we have over £100m in the bank, and club vision to develop youngsters, so I can't see why they would reject it... But here we are. On to the next season where we will compete in Europe for the first time! Also, we had 3 players in the NXGN this season! FA Cup: We beat Manchester City, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Derby, and West Ham to reach the final. There we got the better of Manchester United to claim the cup! Carabao Cup: We beat Hull, Southampton, and Brentford before we lost to Manchester United in the quarter final. Best players from the academy: James Nash 31a - Another strong season from our wonderkid full back. Jason Fitzgerald 27g - A good season by our goalkeeper. Perhaps because he is being pushed by Peter Bedia 31c now. Kevin Gallagher 27a - I was planning to rotate him out of the side, but he just started to deliver, so he kept his spot and did great. New club records: Most league apps - Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - 336 apps Most league goals - Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - 163 goals Got one more improvement accepted this season. U21s They finished 10th in the English U21 Division 3 this season. EFL Trophy: The faced Bradford City, Tranmere, and Port Vale in the group stage. They finished 4th and got knocked out. U21 Premier Division Cup: They faced Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Lincoln in the group stage. They finished 3rd and got knocked out. U18s They got promoted into the U18 Premier League this season where they finished 2nd in the North group. FA Youth Cup: They beat Crystal Palace before they lost to Liverpool in the 4th round. U18 Premier League Cup: They faced Crystal Palace, Arsenal, and Leeds in the group stage. They finished 2nd and got knocked out. 9. I'll certainly have a go at this if I need a break from my youth save!
  10. Ok, I finally found the answer, and unfortunately it's not possible to change from the MS Store https://support.sega.com/hc/en-gb/articles/9996916052369-How-to-change-the-Football-Manager-s-Sports-Interactive-folder-location-in-my-computer
  11. Ah, the onedrive issue... it just creates another instance of your documents folder... I'm not overly familiar with MS store... so I had a google. Does this work for you? https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/all/on-the-microsoft-store-how-do-i-change-the/e43d682b-01b0-4aa0-bfef-94a7f5c3c41a
  12. The game cannot be installed locally, it needs Steam, Epic or MS Store (Gamepass). Either you have misunderstood, or you are running a pirate version.
  13. If you guys are (@NineCloudNine and @MichaelNevo) that interested, I can offer you this: https://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Lessons-psychology-penalty-shoot-ebook/dp/B0CW1C7QZQ/ref=sr_1_1?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.PLYFErxAdL2jm9hBmooVlcVE98wJIy8juMxHKjO_Gbs.ASvGFUL3J0AUnifcrW7iD_keuDlAfzGAOH6tB795LMk&dib_tag=se&qid=1715277811&refinements=p_27%3AGeir+Jordet&s=books&sr=1-1 (I chose Amazon, because it's mostly global, but you can probably find it in other places too) This guy is quite amazing when it comes down to pens and the psychology around it, as he should being a professor of psychology who has studied high pressure situations and narrowed it down to penalty taking. He has worked with a lot of big teams to help them prepare for it. If I remember correctly, the pre shootout ods are usually around 50-50 no matter the technical quality of the teams, but if the first taker scores AND celebrates a lot, the odds of the first team goes to about 60% for whatever reason. Anyway, well worth a read if the topic is interesting.
  14. Sorry, as this is the official forum run by the developer, we can't assist on anything regarding circumventing the licenses like names or pictures. For that you have to ask google. As for other types of files you can add, there are the steam workshops that allows leagues that are not in the game by default, but you only need to add if you feel something is missing or you have a favourite team in a league that is not available. There is also a sub forum here on these forums where people upload various things they've changed, but it depends on what you are looking for.
