taylorsmen
Just wondered what is your longest your striker/forward went without scoring ? Ive got henri saivet and he went an astonishing 18 hours before he finally hit the back of the net again I'm in a new season now (pre-season) so lets hope he don't suffer another drought
likesiamesefish
on fm07 i had sone aluko go nearly a season without scoring, i think it might have been 72 hours actually he'd played. it was funny because he was bagging loads of assists for me with birmingham but i'd been using him on the left wing. PureForce
best one i saw for me was marquinos i played him on right midfield due to injury to other players and he went like 1800 mins without scoring, plenty of assists, but cos he has FC on his positions it counted that first game i put him upfront he scored a hattrick

AcidBurn
I had a regen go for 18 hours then he scored 4 against Arsenal, good way to break the run.
Magnakai Haaskivi
Torres just went about 18 hours for me, but he's still getting relatively good match ratings and is contributing with assists and the like.
Carrotdude
I recently signed someone who was supposed to be way better than my 15 goal striker from my first season, he scored 3 early on but then went over 22 hours without a goal and ended with 8 from over 40 games! To be honest I can't get any strikers to score regularly so these droughts happen often no matter who plays up front!
Magnakai Haaskivi
I think how well a striker "gels" with a team/formation/tactic has a lot to do with how well they can score; Torres didn't score at all for me at first, but once he "got" what I was trying to do it was like a switch got flipped. It's just being patient sometimes.
