Pavel Pogrebnyak
Don't you think this is a bit unrealistic? I mean when was the last time a club IRL actually done this? sure name a stand or something but a whole stadium forfitting the lucrative sale of naming rights is just not believable imo. phnompenhandy
You could be managing Leicester and share a name with a brand of crisps though.
Elrithral
No matter how realistic you want the game to be, there should always be certain aspects that are fun. It's similar to the 100th game message, purely cosmetic, but a nice touch.
baker.simon
John Madejski? Although a charimain he has a stadium named after him. Although i do agree that new stadium builds could have an auction for naming rights, similar to the Emirates. Yes its fun to have a stadium named after you but presumably if your in a posistion to get a stadium named after you then your also in a posistion to decline the chance of your name being used, and have say 100 million extra in the balance from an auction of naming rights. CaptainPlanet
Choosing the name for new stadium would be quite a fun new feature - either a dropdown list or even a freetext box! Yeah well thats just a chairman being vain, I'm talking about a manger getting a stadium named after him.

This is a great idea. While it is not really up to a manager to name a stadium, it will give us much better alternatives than the current default names like 'FC United Stadium'. SCIAG
Yeah well thats just a chairman being vain, I'm talking about a manger getting a stadium named after him. It's not a chairman being vain, because he objected. It was the rest of the board who named the stadium after him.

I very much doubt the chairman objected about the naming of the stadium and then then board just went and did it anyway.

hamilton162
He wasn't a manager, but Frank Adams had Wycombe's current Ground Adams Park named after him as he donated the previous stadium, Loakes Park to the club. ryan_sacfc
I've always wanted an option where we could choose a kit for the new season from a drop-down menu, or at least they change every few seasons because otherwise they always stay the same
Sam00000000000001
Yeh the kits should definately change but the manager doesn't have control over this
hamilton162
The manager should consult with the board about changes of kits, the fans could get angry if they didn't like a home kit that the club has used for over 125 years being removed, for example. Gypsum
Most stadiums are named after sponsors these days, which is something they obviously can't implement in the game. So naming them after Legends is a brilliant alternative. Especially when it happens for you.
