Guess that means we were promoted via the Championship Play Offs so we've had less time to sort out our squad than our rivals. Thought I'd start the excuses early. The Yorkshire clubs never get any decisions either - the referees will favour the cocknies and their neighbours. Am expecting us to miss out on our top targets due to nobody fancying living in Leeds or Sheffield. Although I could tempt them with an extra bonus of a Barnsley bird every Saturday evening. Hmm. This is all my knowledge. India's (which is where I'm from) central longitude is taken as the 82.5 degree longitude (It passes through a city called Allahabad iirc), which is to the east of the Greenwich mean time. Now, according to global standards, each degree is supposed to contribute to 4 minutes. Using that calculation, 82.5 degrees amounts to 82.5*4 = 330 minutes or 5 and a half hours So the Indian Standard Time or IST is 5 and a half hours ahead of GMT. Of course, there will a few minor differences between the north and south of India, amounting to a maximum of 10 minutes or so. But the entire country follows the IST afaik.
