where do you place the file once downloaded?..

In this folder, if it's not created you  must do it, but normally the game creates it.

\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\editor data

After that you can select which data you want to affect your new save

If Scotland isn't raining EVERY game then I'll be upset lol

lol. Well, I haven't played all nations, of course, but if you have any feedback to correct, just let me know!

why is none of this stuff not already correct in the game?

haha, good question. From all my workings in the DB, I've realized FM is very, very good at some things, and very, very bad at others. Some things are so detailed and expanded, while others are so basic and inaccurate.

For balanced play, not everyone wants extreme weather messing up schedules.

A more balanced, if not fully representative, game is much more fun to play.

FM Touch is there for arcade purposes. Can't see why FM keeps adding gimmicky micromanagement over immersive dynamic detail.

Realistic weather is tough, because weather is unpredictable. The 80-90% of regular weather is in the game. It is the extremes and detailing that are hard to do.

In that sense the best way might be to 'cut up' regions piece by piece, so you can make weather more local. Rivers, mountains, the sea, or.... urbanization, it all adds a different touch to the weather.

How do we install this?

Is it save compatible??

All editor data files require a new save.

Place in Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\editor data folder. Start a new save. When selecting the database(before Advanced Setup), be sure to select the checkbox to enable this file.

Perfect, thanks,

Where can I find the weather that I played in after playing the match? In the Schedule tab. I can see score, attendance, but can't see the weather anywhere, could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

After the match? Maybe view the match?
