Makoto Nakamura
14 minutes ago, Cyp said: Well i was pretty lucky, hardest game was the barrage before the group phase against Bengaluru (went 2-2/1-1) and interzone barrage final against Pyongyang that i shouldn't have won but won miraculously...In group phase, the Indian team lost 5-1 their first game and was in bad form, as was New Radiant...One of my forward was in a scary good form (13pace/13acceleration/12 finishing killing it in counters) and scored 4 goals 3 times... I won the group easily (i think my team was as good as the other in the group talentwise, but with full cohesion + full morale from crushing bhutanese team+ rotation to have the team in form in Continental competition) Faced a Philipines team in the interzone barrage, which was good but not great. Overall, i scored a lot, and also set a record for goal against. Had the record for goal scored (19!!) and assists for my 2 strikers I was helped by the fact that i had 2 very good intakes (golden generation with mainly forwards and a top keeper) to work with, since foreign team weren't stealing my players yet. Also that year there was no Asian Games, so that clearly helped to reach the group phase!!(wouldn't have beaten Bengaluru). I think it is unlikely i can replicate such a run in future, unless i get a godly youth intake in a non Asian game year, since now my player are stolen as soon they reach 18. Considering Bhutanese from youth intake are often an old 16 when generated, that mean that my best players will stay only one year. Passing semi-pro is the next objective, as is increasing league reputation (was frozen due to bug until 2020 - which was a blessing in disguise since i wasn't scouted) Top scorer : 2nd Forward (top Passer in cup) Other key players You should post about that career here! Makoto Nakamura
June 2039 We are truly steamrolling the league as we reach the half way point and see ourselves 11 points clear! OK.If i post here, should i put my game in english so that's easier to read players profile? Seems i was overly pessimistic!! Managed to pass first round of asian cup with a grey keeper (the ****ing u23 bhoutan manager calling ALL 3 of my keepers qualified for Asian league -thankfully they were quickly eliminated on the asian games), and thanks to an insane run from the one who was my 5th striker last season (12goals in 5 games!!!!), this is the result Still that team should be getting worse and worse as player leave during the year (had my top keeper until 4 of march lose top defender on May 1st...) , but so far i have a small chance to qualify again for the elimination rounds (despite having no business doing so)!! Honestly, i think we have no business topping the group : our forwards are "trash tier" for asia (good for bhutan lvl) cause 0 FW on 2020 intake and our midfield weak. We have a good keeper and relatively decent defender (until they leave), but even then. We are still the best team in bhutan, though... About the NT, rank is FIFA 151th. We have no interesting competition coming on since we somehow aren't participating in asian championship qualifiers, and where out after the first round of WC qualifs. We won 2019 South Asian Cup - 2 penalty win in knockout stages - and host it at the end of the year . I target friendly against trash nation that seems overrated in FIFA ranking (mainly caribbean minnow / oceanian / bad asian teams like guam) to increase my own FIFA ranking. Best team we played so far is Estonia who trashed us 2-4 (we scored 2 very early goals) , Kirghizistan (was 1-1) and India during SA cup (lost 0-1 in group, but they were eliminated against Sri Lanka). So far as a NT, we are around the same lvl as Sri Lanka /Pakistan and other south asian team...The long term goal (to qualify to a WC) is still very far.

Cyp
I thought so too. Thanks! The plan is to see how far I can take High Quality now they're professional, hopefully to a Confederation Cup victory and also to improve the Bhutanese league ranking. I think you shouldn't have to much trouble unless South Asian team have tremendously progressed : they are generally quite poor. After that you just have 2 home and away before the final, which is winnable, especially if you can get a good striker (it could also be harder for you, since at this point High Quality is a developped club of a similar standard to theirs, while in my save, i have such a low rep that they consider they can crush me and i just have to counter...) For my part I definitely undersold that team! I underestimated the effect of the improvement in midfield and defence. Overall, an unexpectedly great season : first place in both divA and Ligue (one loss in the whole season) First place in the group (3win -3draw) Eliminated Pyongyang (again) in semi (1-2 away /1 -0 home ) with an header of my 1 jumping /6 header forward as the only goal of the home game!! Loss to Persib (2-3 home /1-2 away) with somehow some regrets (started playing down 3-0 home, and led 1-0 away) as we were unable to pull a miracle. More importantly : Money for winning the Bhoutan league is up to 199000 $ from 67 000$ a year before and 10 000$ two year ago Club went semi-pro at the end of the season!! That mean i will no longer auto-lose my top players!! For the youth intake, it's a mixed bag : i got a speedster winger (RM) with 16acc/15pace a good DM a very good right fullback But again 0 striker!! For the NT : we are continuating our winning streak targeting the bad teams of the caribean or of Asia who have an inflated ranking (Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Guam (was 154th), Macao, Taipei...) we got a great win against Singapore. Next friendly is an away game against UAE, who should crush us, considering they lost only to Saudi Arabia for the right to be the 5th asian team) Edited July 4, 2018 by Cyp

Cyp
Yeah, he was my starter the first 2 season (i favor striker with decent pace/acc - he declined a little though) . He would be a perfect 4/5th striker for me, since he is good enough to score at the Bhutanese / south Asian level, but bad enough CAwise (i checked it, it's 8CA) to never be called in selection now!!! (so he can almost always be played) : as a result he is the top scorer in Club history. He also score a surprising number of header for such a dwarf!!! I noticed that since the AI look mainly at CA to select players, it has a tendency to play slow defenders (like 5-6 pace/acc), especially at low level, so any forward i play with half decent pace and finishing naturally score in the Bhutanese league.
